What a cute little place! The rooms are small, but clean. Queen size bed. Small bathroom, small shower. Very quaint. The staff was wonderful, so friendly and so helpful and genuinely wanted our stay to be nice. 30 minutes from the Renaissance festival, so perfect for us. We will be coming back again next year.

I am the founder and director of a nonprofit organization that provides backcountry camps for kids and special needs individuals. I spend a good part of the year traveling the state for various reasons with Arizona Outdoor Adventures. On many occasions, I have the need for lodging. I recently stayed at Copper Mountain Motel in Superior, Arizona. During that time, I became acquainted with Sam, the go-to person at Copper Mountain. She is a hard worker and a very welcoming lady. She has taken this older motel and renovated it with a lot of tender loving care. If you're looking for fancy, this is not the place for you. If you're looking for a very comfortable place to stay and a very welcoming lady you must get in touch with Sam. The beds are very comfortable and there is a refrigerator with freezer and a large microwave in the rooms. Even though the place is very old and still in need of some work, most importantly, the rooms are very comfortable. It's just a short distance to incredible places to eat and an upgraded convenience store is down the road a mile or so. In my travels, I don't find many places like Copper Mountain. It will be my go-to place whenever I'm in this particular part of the state. Enjoy.

I loved that there is real tile in the rooms and room was very clean, especially the floors. Loved the fridge. Bed and AC could be replaced but overall it was a good stay. Good people there. Good food next door at Italian bistro.

The room was a partially clean room, the armchair and ottoman were stained, the comforter was also not washed before our arrival, the drawer inside the dresser also was not clean. The air conditioner was on which was a nice way to enter on a warm day. If you have a pet they will charge extra though they wanted 25.00 each night. It is not posted that there is a charge on their website, so beware. Since we were not aware they did discount the price per night for our pet. We gave it 2 stars because we did not have hot water. Make sure you test the water before you commit to the room. It is one of 2 places to stay in the area so not many choices. We would stay again for business but would check the room before we commit.

Stayed for one night there very recently. The website photos sold me on my decision and they’re descriptive sounds good. Upon arrival… Kind of a nightmare. If you need a bed to sleep in and make it through the night it’ll do but it’s double of what it’s worth in price, so be prepared. I appreciate vintage motels very much, but this was not one by any means. Not sure if the photos that I saw online were stock photos but my room looked nothing like the room I got assigned to. Not even a cup in the room for drinking water , and was hesitantly offered a Styrofoam cup at the lobby which is shaky as well. I would advise to steer clear.

Refrigerator never cleaned, bathroom exhaust fan doesn't work and no cold water to take a shower and middle of summer so you sweet before you can even get dressed. 2 rooms and only 1 window ac in one of the rooms so the room with no ac was really worm so I didn't get a good night sleep due to sweating. But to top it off rooms are infested with bed bugs. I got home after working out of town with little bumps on my body that itched, to find out they were bed bug bites. Don't recommend staying here.

Oh good golly. We stayed here at the end of 2022, while working on moving to AZ to work for a while, and holy cow. We had a few days before we could move into our permanent place, and we ended up getting out of dodge and just killing a few days way down in Tombstone instead of staying here - as much as I like Superior. There were cigarette burn holes in the blankets, and there were little tree car air fresheners hanging on the walls that were so potent it was making us cough. The shower was tile, which was cracked with residue built up. The water was somewhere between lukewarm and freezing, so you were almost able to comfortably shower, and the water pressure was just about nonexistent. The heater in the room just blew outside air in, despite being cranked all the way up, so the room was freezing. Thankfully I had plenty of extra blankets for my toddler. The owner seemed nice, and made sure we had towels, so I'll give them that. And it's central in Superior, so you're close to the park and everything. But overall, wouldn't recommend.

Nice friendly little motel. Clean rooms and laundry on site. The owner is super kind.

Price was right! VERY nice owners, trying to do their best, and the structure is old.... overall, we had a lovely time and have no complaints. Shower had PLENTY of hot water, with good water pressure, bed was comfy (only 1 small pillow per person), no bed-side lamp...only the overhead light!
