Always a delicious breakfast and really reasonable prices. Fast and friendly service- my coffee never hit the halfway mark. Menu has enough variety to keep everyone happy.

My husband and I came in this afternoon for a late brunch. Our server was Tory/Tori? I had biscuits and gravy with a side of eggs. My husband got the cinnamon french toast. My husband loved the french toast, it was an interesting meal. It had actual cinnamon rolls as the base. My food was good as well, unfortunately the sausage chunks within my sausage and gravy were very cold. I asked my waitress if it could be microwaved, she was happy to do so but I heard the cook arguing with her about it and that is why they got 4 stats instead of 5. It made it uncomfortable. To the cheif, I have no reason to lie. I paid for my meal and did not want a new one but if I wanted cold sausage I would go eat it directly from the freezer. Otherwise everything was good. My eggs were cooked correctly and Tori was attentive. She kept put coffee topped off and seemed to be a pretty cheerful individual. I would return and would recommend it if you want breakfast foods in the afternoon or evening. The kids menu is pretty cute too. Prices are reasonable as well. Booth seats are a tad dirty and it is a seat yourself restaurant.

The food was amazing. We ordered the butterfly shrimp with rice pilaf and vegetable of the day, fried chicken breast with mash potatoes and the meatloaf plate. Everything tasted fresh. Our waitress was amazing. Will be coming back.

I walked to Julie’s from work on a cold day just to get an order for take out. Three people were at the register. They didn’t say hi, they didn’t even look up.They waited on three people just before me. I waited a few minutes and just left. Won’t go back - plenty of other good places to eat.12/6 1:29pm

Wonderfully homey Americana. Nicely decorated. Like a greasy spoon, but from a family who likes to still keep things tidy. Very friendly staff. Very delicious offerings. Good sense of humor on the menu. There's simply is not enough places like this with a great old fashioned in a good way vibe. So glad to have them in town.

Breakfast can be a tricky one for me - sometimes too many options! A great, basic selection of 'regular' breakfast items. I decided on poached eggs with pancakes. Pancakes were generous in size, fluffy and cooked just right. Wait staff were attentive and quick to refill coffee cups. Seems like many patrons were regulars as there was easy conversation between wait staff and patrons. Very friendly place with good food and reasonable prices.

I have stopped here a few times. I liked it. It's a cozy diner with food to match. Everything tastes good, the workers are fast and kind, the location is clean and the atmosphere is perfect. I don't have any complaints of any kind. It's a place for someone who wants a quiet lunch or breakfast out. There is plenty of seating near the windows for that extra little bit of coziness. The food is reasonably priced, and absolutely worth it. Portions are big and you will likely be going home with a box, but the food keeps well and you will just have an extra meal. I strongly recommend this location for tired college students or visitors to Superior looking for a break from everything. You will leave feeling recharged and rested with a full belly. Easily worth it.

Happy to refer & support our hometown businesses! Hometown GREAT food & friendly service. Nice portions. The wild rice bread is homemade & a wonderful bonus to a great breakfast! Pattymelts are thick & are great with a good portion of meat on grilled marble rye. A good portion of tasty fries! Highly recommend. Won’t disappoint… Thank You & keep up the great work🙂

Food was delicious. I had a great scrambler. Cannot recall what boyfriend had except that he really enjoyed it as well. Water tastes good too. Waitress only seemed to check up on her regulars. They have a parking lot with huge pot holes, but plenty of parking.

Pros: Pancakes (fluffy and nice flavor) and chicken fried steak was amazing. It’s cheap. Cons: Slowest service ever, you’ll wait over an hour for your food once ordered. As a southerner their biscuits and gravy frankly suck. More like a toasted cracker with gravy on top.

Very tasty Food, the trade off is a really long wait time compared to similar diners. Great food isn't fast! This place offers Hometown history featuring ships and the men and women who operate them. Overall Great quality food. Worth the wait when busy.

This place is always full and there is a good reason for it. It is a very warm feeling type of place, the staff is welcoming and friendly. The food and coffee are great and the service is as fast as it can be with the number of customers who are there. This is a great place for a breakfast meal, at least. It is highly recommended that you try this place for your next meal.

Usually this is our go to restaurant. We go probably once a week, but when we went today the service was hardly even existent. Our waitress got us drinks, took our order about 12 to 15 minutes later and our food came out cold 45 minutes later. She checked on us once and then slapped the check on the table without asking if we needed anything else or desert or anything. I'm not sure when we will be back, which is disappointing because the food was good.

My mom and I stopped for breakfast. Food was very good and portion size was a great value for the price. waitress was very friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed.

Had a great breakfast. I always ask for hash browns very well done. Understandably, that request is open for interpretation. These were the best ever, borderline burned, but on the right side of the border. Sausage was tasty

Had breakfast yesterday, it was busy, so understood that food would take a bit, but when we got food. HORRIBLE. Our waitress dropped our apps and the mini tacos were barely cooked through. Tried flagging her down, never came back. Went to counter and was told our waitress would be over to help us. She came by the table 35 minutes later with our food. Explained that they were cold and she said that since we've been waiting awhile, of course they would be cold by now. She wouldn't budge on them. Asked for Mayo, took 17 minutes to get it. (I timed at this point), I took my bun off to put mayo on and found pieces of egg and onion. I didn't order egg and it was obviously left over grill scraps. Burger was so dry, almost couldn't swallow it. $50.00 bill and 1hr & 50 minute wait was not worth the dried out and undercooked food we received. Also, the booth in front of us and the booth the right of us got their meals for free because of being friends with the owner. Well, the booth to the right did nothing but bad mouth the owner after she got her free meal, so there ya go.

It wasn't bad, but it wasn't as good as I remember it. I guess I'm just a little nostalgic about the portion sizes, but I understand that inflation is hitting. Fries were actually very good and I still love the environment. I was happy to see some improvements to the ladies room upon returning. It's been a few years. :)

Great food and nice friendly staff. Not particularly fond of the beverage options but I settle for what they do have. I prefer coke products and even their Pepsi options are a tad limited. Love to go here for breakfast foods at any time of the day. Had the onion rings once and they were delicious. They don't seem to underfeed nor overfeed you (I usually share what's left of mine but I don't eat a lot at once.) Burgers are pretty good too. It's relatively quiet inside which is nice. There hasn't been a lot of chaos any time I've been which can be good for those with special needs. You're also gonna pay probably an average price like most serving restaurants. Not high priced imo but not something I could do often.

This place is amazing! Great breakfast food. Clean. Super friendly staff. Rad decorations of sea captains. Pictures of ore haulers etc. This place is a true gem. Worth driving across the bridge of you live in duluth or are visiting.
