I love Perkins Restaurant & Bakery. Perkins is a every Friday routine for me. I’ve tried everything probably on the list. I did a curb side pickup. Tonight I had the Chicken Strip Melt. Can never go wrong with there sandwiches or there burgers. Want a sandwich I recommend the chicken strip melt. Want a burger I recommend the Tangler Burger with BBQ sauce. Tangled burger is actually the only burger I’ll get at Perkins. It became my favorite out of all the others burgers. Very big and very full filling. Customer service is always kind. Very welcoming

My father made stopping at this Perkins as we drove from Illinois to Minnesota a tradition. My son and nephews keep this tradition alive. The place is timeless. The food is great and prepared well.

Great stop for breakfast after an early hockey game. The staff set us up in the side room with a great view. Food was served quickly to.our large group. Meal was perfect.

The food was decent. Presentation was good. I had no complaints. It was a corporate experience as there was no personality to the food it's just .....is. The service was excellent as the waitress although busy, still found time to refresh coffee and ask if we needed anything. It was Perkins as you'd expect it to be.

This Perkins location has not changed in 30 years. Does not even appear to have had any interior changes since then. Service was good. Friendly and attentive waitress. Food was mediocre. I had the patty melt w/ onion rings. Onion rings were not on par today. I did get an upset stomach and had to visit the restroom (which also has not been updated). Another guest in my party had a cheeseburger and soup. They said their food was very good. The parking lot is horrific. Severe potholes everywhere. The owners need to sink some money into this place and preserve this fantastic location.

Had a nice time out for breakfast with my husband, and used yet another coupon from a coupon book purchased from our daughter as part of a school fundraiser. Staff were friendly and added to the pleasant experience.

Food was great! Waitress was great. The guy that was the host that was also at the till wasn't too great. Ordered a muffin when I checked out. I paid and he made me wait to get that 1 little muffin until he checked out the next people. Would have taken 5 seconds to get the muffin and get us out of there but made us wait 5 minutes.

Food was fine, Atmosphere met expectations, but the service was awful. I ordered a half sandwich, soup, and dessert. Our server, Madison, brought our food out in a timely manner but did not bring the pie which I had requested. After our meal was mostly finished, she came back to check on how our food was. At this point the service was acceptable but it was about to turn for the worse. I ordered my dessert. After waiting for 5 minutes, I noticed her talking with another table. She proceeded to talk (not taking an order just talking) to the other table for AT LEAST an additional 10 minutes. I literally had to ask another server for my dessert and a refill. The other server delivered my refill but stated that she would let Madison know. when Madison finally did deliver my dessert she brought the wrong one. She knew she had an order to fulfill but decided to ignore it and visit with another customer. For me it was unacceptable. I felt that it was disrespectful and inconsiderate. After receiving the wrong dessert I was so frustrated with having lost 15-20 minutes of my life while a server talked to another customer that I didn't even bother to send it back.

My daughter and a family friend and myself had lunch there on that day, it was in the middle of the week, it wasn't very busy, our waitress was friendly, nice and courteous the food was pretty good, the place was clean, including the men's restroom.

So I went for a birthday dinner and I have nothing but good things to say food was amazing and staff was very friendly, and I must give a name mention for it is well deserved, Madison was our waitress and she was just amazing, she was very sweet, honest and respectful, just very well mannered overall she was also on top of everything when it came to just checking on our party and making sure drinks were always filled and that everything to our moods n the food were perfect. We will definitely be coming back. She was awesome.

This place has gone down hill. The portion of food is small. No flavored syrups just maple for pancakes. Bought breakfast for $16 which wasn’t worth $8. Charged $3.49 for toast and the eggs were cold. Yuk! 😳

I remember in the mid seventies going to Perkins with my family, it was definitely a treat and a step up from the Country Kitchen. But as the years go by the quality hasn't kept up and Perkins doesn't have that same feeling anymore. The food quality is okay, not bad but not great it's as good as any other restaurant in the area. The Perkins that once was grand is now just average.

Worst food I ever had. Ordered a hot turkey sandwich and got two pieces of toast with some turkey that was fried on a grill, asked to sub the mashed for fries and was charged 4.00 for the fries. Staff would not listen when I tried to explain my position. I will be advising all my fellow workers to stay away from this place and would advise anyone reading this to stay away. Terrible food and service.

quality value and portion size does not meet the prices. I paid 60 for two meals that had really small portions. we tried superior store to see if they were any better than the cloquet. nope the toast was not toasted all the way through eggs were run ery and hard when we order over easy. and counted 17 small fries on my plate. value is just not there. go to Julie's instead.

Food was wonderful! Stopped for a late late breakfast, waitress and food was excellent! Five of us ate for under $80 which is good for me. Daughter wasn't a fan of the mac&cheese she got but.... The Super huge perk was the 🐰's all over the grass outside of the restaurant and the view doesn't hurt! But...... 🐰 🐇!¡!

Food was tasteless and very small portions. Bad service. Will not go back. 3 bad meals out of 3. Send your staff to Perkins on London Road in Duluth for some training/help where they know what they're doing.

Server was excellent. I bought a muffin when I was leaving and it's burnt on one side. How did quality let that go out? I'm extremely disappointed. I have a picture if you need it. Updated::: no comment from anyone at the location. Moving to 2 stars

It was ok. The kids eat free in Saturday, so we were happy for the kids. I ordered from the 55+ menu. I thought it was a discount but it was literally half the food. I had been running with kids in the cold all day. My vegetables were burnt and I asked for no gravy and got gravy. It was not a bust, we had a wonderful waitress, great company and the food was over all ok.

I arrived at 7:45pm. There were about 12 cars in the parking lot. The hostess was ringing up another customer and informed me they were no longer seating people for the evening since they close at 8. I asked to place a to go order to which initially acted confused. I waited for her to finish with the other customer and again asked to place a take out order. She responded saying most people place such orders by phone. I was confused and asked if I could place an order to which she said no. I understand everyone wants to go home at the end of the day, but would it really take more than 15 minutes to cook a burger? I left disappointed and hungry.

Food acceptable but nothing to brag about. I would have given an extra star but while they have a great view of the lake, they were not seating anyone on that side. Also their was drooping discolored ceiling tile in the room they were seating people in and the table was sticky.

We walked over in the rain and arrived at 1:30pm. We then saw a sign that said they were set to close at 2pm. We were told that they were no longer seating. They were turning away numerous people at the door. Deciding to make the best of a crummy situation we went in to order from the bakery and head out. I saw that they had my favorite pie available in the cooler so I tried to order a slice. I was told that they didn't have that available and they gave other options. I figured okay, I'll get one of those. I ordered a slice to go and paid for it. After a few minutes I was told that the last slice of what I had ordered had been given to someone else. I then had to wait another 5-10 minutes to get a refund, while the manager discussed with a server about how a refund might not be possible since the register had been closed. All in all, it was a pretty awful experience from start to finish. I'm glad we didn't get seated, especially after seeing the review from an hour earlier where the wrong food was delivered and a child was served spoiled milk.

Almost always a great meal. Friendly staff, great view of the water, and a good park to let the kids burn off some energy before your back on the road. Only recommendation I'd say is a slight renovation. Building itself is slightly outdated. (Not in a bad way)

I was there with my grandkids, last day before school starts and they could all come. Food was great and service too!

Madalyn was an exceptional hostess from start to finish and ensured my first visit was very pleasant. I trust she's well appreciated. The entrees are magnificently prepared, well portioned, and priced appropriately. Definitely better than my first and only visit to Julie's; as I will be going back to Perkin's.

Glad this store has such wonderful service 👍. Although the wait staff is very friendly & extremely helpful, their working environment could use some sprucing up. The ceiling tiles need to be replaced & the light & fan fixtures could use repairs. Good job on keeping what you have to work with guys 👍
