March 3rd, 2023, was the first Friday prayer being held in the Masjid Raya Sheikh Zayed, Solo. Not surprisingly, jemaah from Solo and the surrounding area came to pray in this beautiful Masjid. Indeed, it was a full house. The khotbah is in Arabic, by Imam from UAE, but later translated into Bahasa. All the facilities are first class. The main praying Hall has a huge carpet and is air conditioned. The area for ritual washing (wudu) is enormous, well lit and ventilated. There's a lift for those who cannot use the stairs.

You must visit this place, because it was the most beautiful mosque I've ever seen in my life. Especially at night when the lamp has been turned on.

This mosque was originally built in 2021, and is a replica of the Sheikh Zayed Mosque in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. This mosque is a grant from the United Arab Emirates Government to the Indonesian Government. Looks like this place is always busy. But comfortable because inside is so spacious. The parking lot is placed around this mosque and need some walks towards to the mosque. For cars can took place around the mosque.

I visited this mosque a month before its opening so i just could see the beauty outside the construction's fence. Eventhough the breathtaking mosque architecture took my breath away. It was so magnificent mosque with white as its color. It looks like a palace. Hope can be there again anytime soon.

Wow, the architecture of this mosque is similar with the arabic mosque. Unique and comfortable place to worship for muslim.

The most Beautiful mosque in Solo! Is a must visit for all visitors and tourist if you are in Solo, Surakarta! Very stunned look. Accessibility for all, clean toilet, huge prayer hall, located huge Alquran near the main entrance to prayer hall. Enter zone to prayer hall only during prayers. Please expect the delay at evening, there will be a heavy traffic. But worth waiting. I choose Ojek, Gojek or Grab motor to reach here. Very quick access. No macet. Beautiful view during night, evening..

I went here to take the Dzuhur prayer. And it was very crowded because it's still on Lebaran. There are so many people from outside Solo who came to this mosque. The prayer space is separated for men on the lower floor and for women on the top floor. Don't forget to bring a plastic bag for your sandals or shoes. because if you don't bring it, you'll lose it. Also, don't forget too take some moment here 😁

The biggest Masjid at Solo... As I saw the architecture adopt from middle east culture. Huge and white.. glowing with the gold scratch every tower.. so beautiful and clean. The masjid has alot of closet too, but I underline for visitor (women area) to keep the closet clean coz it was stinky for some area inside the closet, and please don't throw your tissues everywhere.. there are many garbage bin to throw your trash.. please!!!.. We are muslim love beauty and clean right?

Mosque with beautiful architecture, original design from middle east. The cool air inside the mosque due to the open space setting, plus air conditioner at main worship area. There are a large area for worship, clean and tidy, and have a good layout. Vehicle parking area is not wide enough, nost of visitor need to find a parking area at outside. Mosque is opened free to the general public, startedin the beginning of 2023. It is exciting to visit this mosque and see the beautiful architecture.

Beautiful mosque, but unfortunately i can't pray in the main prayer room. I don't like the crowded situation, it's not condusive and the workers are little bit tempered, maybe because it's so noisy here. It's huge place but lack of direction and guidance. The parking area is so limit.

You can immediately feel the 'dubai' vibe, as soon as you step into the mosque. However, despite all the beauty, there are some notes that need to be considered by the management or the government. Security performance is good as a keeper but they have different perspectives on a rule. for example, some of them said we were allowed to do this and others said otherwise. there is also lack of signs inside the mosque. As visitors, we feel a bit uncomfortable when some security come or shoute and says that we have done something that is forbidden for the simple thing. for example stepping on grass, sitting near water pond, etc. Because if there is a sign, visitors can immediately read and know that they are not allowed to do certain things. it will make visitors comfortable and feel aware about the rules. at the same time, it will also help security guards to do their jobs more effectively and with less effort as there will be fewer visitors breaking the rules.

Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque- Surakarta, Central Java. The must visit place. Its building has some beautiful designs, with a dominant white color. The design is like a mosque in the Middle East. The rest room and ablution area which in building are clean, beautiful, luxurious like in a five-star hotel-class. Its carpet design is unique, which you might not find in other mosques with batik motifs and seems to be lying intact without a connection. The inside of the mosque is always sterilized after each congregational prayer session. Therefore it opens about 1 hour before and after the prayer session. Conclusion: Building, design, interior, facilities exceed expectations => 5 stars (*****). So, remember to take some pictures at this place.

Grand Sheikh Zayed Masjid at Solo Baru is Nice choice religious tour. Very large wudu part. There is one Big Quran Colection you can take a picture. Very large Parking, beauty garden with cozy lamp. Inner place close at 8.PM

It's a new spotlight at Solo. Since officially launched, it is full of crowd. The first impression about this mosque is gorgeous. I like the architecture, the lighting, the color, the facilities. Normal mosques (as far as I know) in Indonesia consist of man corner, woman corner and wudhu area. That's it. However, the new mosque has more details like entrance, hall, pond, even water fountain. I saw a wheel chair. I hope the management provides more facilities for disable people and pay more attention to them. Watch your kids, especially at weekend. I almost lost my kids, because they run and chase in the middle of crowd.

It was nice experience to visit this huge mosque while in solo. If you planned to pray Inside you have to came earlier, because the prayer room will be closed 30 minutes after adzan, but u can still pray on the balcony instead.

Awesome ! Your next visit to Solo you guys need to come to this Masjid Raya Sheikh Zayed. I visited here for praying in Eid Mubarak. The design is similar to mosque in Abu Dhabi, since this mosque (masjid) is grant of the president of United Arab Emirates.

beautiful mosque in solo, wudlu and toilet area is safe for eldery bcs they offer lift from basement until 3rd floor. clean and wide mosque. i come after it opening on this ramadhan, and well yeah it full of ppl and traffic jam around that place.
