The location is on the 2nd floor of the Fruit Market. The menu consists of Dimsum and Bakpao with various fillings meat or vegetables also have a special chili sauce, Suitable for snacks in the afternoon or evening and quite affordable prices.

One of the popular food stalls on the second floor of Pasar Gedhe. Also saw this on social medias so we decided to try (take out) before leaving back to Yogyakarta by train. They have several kinds of dimsum fillings but when we came there most of them were still being cooked so we only ordered one kind. At least it tasted good so it's worth enough.

During our visit to Solo, we had the opportunity to dine at the highly popular Dim Sum Uma Yumcha, evident from the large number of patrons enjoying their meals there. They offer various types of dim sum fillings, including mushrooms, lobster, carrots, chicken, shrimp, and smoked beef. Each dim sum costs Rp 3,000. If you dine in, the dim sum is served in small bamboo containers, while for takeaway, they are neatly packaged in square-shaped paper boxes. You can find Uma Yumcha Solo at Pasar Gede, on the second floor in the fruit market section.

Best dimsum I've ever taste! Thin skin with thicccc meat-stuffing inside that melts in your mouth! They have 6 dimsum variants (Rp3k/each): shrimp, lobster, carrot, mushroom, crab, and another one I cannot remember lol + kaki naga. I tried all variants except mushroom, but they all taste the same for me. The stall located inside Food Market just across Pasar Gedhe building, the second floor. It's quite hidden and doesn't have any huge sign or anything so you have to really concentrate if you're a first timer. Gosh I can still remember the taste melting in the ceiling of my mouth. 🤤

Good and fast service regardless the long queue. It's just a standard dimsum, not sure why the long queue; are they repeating customer that likes it, or just there are that many curious ones who join the hype.

One of the most mentioned food stalls in pasar gedhe according to tiktok. Uma Yum Cha opens at 8 AM, but the queued started already even before the place opens. So get ready if the menu you want may not be available due to the high demand. It tasted just ok btw, not sure why its so famous, but price-wise, its cheap! only 3K IDR per piece. Service is also very quick and afaik they allow qris payment.

Hey there! Let me give you the scoop on "Uma Yum Cha," the dimsum spot at Pasar Gedhe Solo. When I hit up Solo, this was my very first food stop. People were raving about it everywhere, so I rushed to make sure I didn't miss out. Now, about the dimsum taste – it wasn't like super amazing, but it was pretty good and had that melt-in-your-mouth thing going. I might just go back for more dimsum soon. They've got all sorts of dimsum flavors, bakpao and ceker. And guess what? It's easy on the wallet. The place gets crowded, but no worries – the servers are quick. Here's the thing, though – the restaurant is small, so you might have to do a bit of a shuffle to move around and maybe even snag a seat. All in all, "Uma Yum Cha" serves up some good dimsum at prices that won't break the bank. 🥟👌
