If you want to give your friend Surakarta’s legendary mandarijn, here is the place. Kicking off with Rp 120.000,- for the small mandarijn, and Rp 220.000,- for the big one. You can request to slice the mandarijn too. They also sell many traditional products here

Toko Roti Orion located at Jl.Jend.Urip Sumoharjo - Solo ( near Pasar Gedhe ). This shop is sell cake and snack from Solo. The place is not spacious will be crowded at peak time , beside is new shop but not yet open. Here famous with Roti Mandarijn and  Intip. One of legend place in Solo .

Yellow, the unique bakery store colour, it is legendary since i was young i familiar with Orion, Lapis Surabaya one of favourite, many choice for gifts to family, the price were quite expensive but so many visitors there. Parking lot mixed with adjacent shops.

Their lapis legit and soes are a must-try! The staff were helpful and fast.

If youre lookinh for the famous roti mandarijn then theres no other place than here...Roti Mandarijn tastes v good.. Other products are v expensive..you can find the same products with alot cheaper price in Pasar Gede

Yes I know this legendary bakery provide many kind of cake, sweets and traditional snacks. They selected their products tightly maybe that's why the price for Solo made me think twice. However it's too overrated and so is overprice. Beside some of the keepers not really friendly.

A legendary bakery that is always consistent in quality. I always take the time to buy local snacks at this shop when in Solo. Here we buy ting-ting gepuk, madumongso, brem, kue kukus and many other local snacks. In addition they also sell various types of bread, cakes and many others. But all the goods sold here have been carefully selected so that they all have a taste that does not disappoint the buyer. The store situation is clean, organized and bright. However, due to the limited space and the number of items, this shop feels cramped. Especially with so many buyers, we have to jostle. Unfortunately, with the number of buyers, the toilet facilities are very inadequate, very small and need to be cleaner.

One of must visit place if you go to surakarta, solo. The food souvenirs product you can have it here. It open until late night. The shop is not that big but have plenty choice of bread, local cakes, and homemade products from the city

Good place if you searching for some dried edible local food to bring home. Nothing too special about it, but most people seem to like the layered cake. For me, it's too sweet. Also they have a good variant of goods to buy. Ample parking spots (they have parking master there)

Legendary bakery house, famous for its two layer cake, with its herbs and spices. The store itself has not changed much from decade ago. This Toko Roti Orion has been established since 1932 in Solo. I love this cake because of it vanilla and chocolate flavours.

Sorry mate, for a guy with a long experience in Malang, this bakery is limited, and their snacks option not varied enough. But the TEA section would just give you a WOW. It's SOLO yo! The city of JUMBO ICE TEA!!!

Old all time favorite for me who are not visiting this city too often. Great selection of bread, snacks and any other small stuff. Again, my favorites are roti semir and their famous cake. My only problems is not all products came with the price tag. So don’t fail to choose or unpredictable bill will come.

A place that sells various souvenirs from solo, the most famous being mandarin cake orion, besides mandarin cake, there are many other delicious souvenirs, such as tasty srundeng, abon varia, klengkam and many more,. The place is narrow, so it may not be suitable for young children.

Toko Roti Orion is very famous in Solo. Well known for its legendary Mandaijn cake (layer cake?) and Roti Semir.. On weekends and holidays it's very crowded.

Too expensive, just walk less than 300 meters to pasar gede, you will have a doubled cheaper price for souvenirs especially traditional chips. The staff is also unfriendly, i don’t know why the people i met in surakarta are mostly arrogant and have no smiles. This situation also happened here in orion. I recommend you to only buy the popular butter bread as a souvenir, it cost 45.000 rupiah and lasts for 3 days, since it’s the store specialty.

The store is famous in Solo, the legendary bread and cake store. Unfortunately the price is very very expesive even compared to the famous/ branded store in Jakarta. Again, the taste is not as good as been told in the internet. In the old time they might be the most delicious one, but not today especially with their expensive price. If you have limited budget to bring hand-gift to your family or friend, you may think it over one more time before visit this store.

always a good place to find souvenir for everyone. Not as crowded as before covid, but food wouldn't remain high. I am particularry impressed that the cashier didn't allow one lady cutting off the line

Still on top of the list of souvenir shop from Solo. The place can be very crowded during busy hours but the service and cashier is fast and convenient.

This place is always crowded with the people from other towns whose want to buy some local snacks from here..their signature cake is spekoek or indonesian layer cake,outside the store we can buy intip (scorched rice) and a very famous cendol
