Disappointing Lack of Resolution to Noise Issues Review: I am writing this review to express my disappointment with the lack of action taken to address the ongoing noise disturbance issue in my apartment. Despite multiple attempts to seek help and bring attention to the matter, the response from the management, including the front desk, property managers, and even the security, has been dishearteningly unhelpful. The noise from the apartment upstairs, particularly during late hours, has become a consistent disruption to my daily life and study routine. I have reached out to the front desk and the property managers, providing them with detailed information regarding the disturbances, but the situation remains unresolved. Furthermore, my attempts to communicate directly with the neighbors upstairs have been met with indifference and lack of consideration. It is disheartening to feel ignored and left without a viable solution to this ongoing problem. Living in a student accommodation, I expected a certain level of support and respect for tenants' well-being and living conditions. Unfortunately, the response from the management and their failure to address this issue has left me feeling neglected as a resident. I kindly request that the management take immediate action to rectify this situation, as it greatly affects my quality of life and ability to focus on my studies. Clear communication, timely intervention, and respectful consideration of residents' concerns should be a priority in maintaining a conducive living environment. I sincerely hope that this review serves as a catalyst for the necessary changes to be implemented, ensuring a more pleasant and peaceful living experience for all residents.

I lived here the entirety of 2022 and it was not the best experience. For the cost of the rooms, they are tiny and cramped. They are quite outdated and drab but I’m not sure how they look now since the renos. The entirety of the north building reeks of trash since the garbage tunnel is almost always blocked. The fans in the bathrooms barely work, so excessive amounts of mould form on the ceilings that had to be cleaned regularly. The lighting in the rooms are very dim, even if you change out the lightbulbs to the highest possible luminance, they lighting still seems to be dim and dreary. Not sure how it is on lake side, but you can non stop only hear traffic and cars all night, also your neighbours. Once again, I am unsure how it is now, but I had 2 encounters of very aggressive people, one of which I had to call the cops on. The parking is horrible, unless you are home throughout the day or you have underground parking, you will not get a park before 7am or after 3:30pm/4pm. Even so I have multiple damages to my new car from people that have obviously reversed into me but never followed up and wrote a note, it is also a prime area to get your number plated stolen, mine were stolen 3 times in 6 months. Personally though, I found the staff and owner to be friendly and helpful people. Once you get an underground park it becomes a lot nicer living there, but when I was offered one, to receive the FOB to access it you had to leave a 5 star review and a positive comment, so some of the reviews you will see aren’t accurate. There is also really good hot water pressure.

Gave a 1 star because I couldn't give 0 . This place is a nightmare don't stay there and save some money, the parking are terrible and you'll get towed away or stickers on your windows.. do you need internet forget about it they're is one provider and the rate is overpriced and not unlimited... The staff are in my sense undertrained and rude especially Simon.. he told me that I was uneducated, and he makes everyone feels uncomfortable.. Damaged appartement not fixed and they'll make you wait ages or force you to live with it in some cases flood and mould (they'll even tell you that mould have no smell and it is safe to live with... "uneducated?") or kick you out to fix it.. And plus adding passive agressive comment to reply, wait for it 🔻

The WORST student accommodation I have ever lived 1)Endless construction works in the building, you would be woken up by the drilling noise at 06;30am before ur morning class 2)terrible management staff (especially SIMON-the Building Manager who will stick warning stickers to people’s car windshield at 5am in the morning😡 !!!?), 3)horrible parking policy/management-they said we need to understand this building has insufficient parking spaces for residents but their indoor car park is always empty, even at midnight (see photos) 4) if you can deal with some noisy teenage neighbours who love smoking weeds or partying at late night, you’ll be fine DONT LIVE HERE BONDIES

My daughter recently moved to this accommodation from interstate (Victoria) and the transition to this accommodation has been a very pleasant and a positive one for us. The reception and the management has been friendly and accommodating. The view from the "lake view" apartments are absolutely breathtaking. The environment is very calm and relaxing and the accommodation is pretty decent with all the amenities. All in all we are so glad that we found this place for our daughter.

Simon and his staff have been absolutely lovely during my stay at Varsity towers. They are very accommodating and always willing to help. Varsity towers is a well kept building and is nicely located right next to Bond and only a short 10 minute ride from the beach. Couldn't of asked for a better experience!

WORST PLACE EVER DO NOT STAY HERE. RECEPTION CLOSES HOURS EARLY. They don’t care about students and ALWAYS scam people. Stay away at all costs.

I have been living here going seven months, and my experience with management has been cordial; the receptionist and admin are prompt in attending to inquiries, and the manager is hands-on. For an old building, I believe they are doing their best to give excellent service. They have cleaners taking care of common areas, and the trash is disposed of regularly. Don't get me wrong, it's not five stars but what counts for me is people making an effort
