Upon
entering
our
room
(unit
3),
we
were
welcomed
by
an
unusual
stench;
it
was
that
type
of
smell
that
suggested
the
room
had
not
been
cleaned
out
for
a
while.
Our
family
could
immediately
tell
air
freshener
of
some
sort
had
been
deliberately
used
to
mask
the
strong
odour
-
but
even
that
was
not
enough.
In
addition
to
this
we
also
noted
that:
1.
The
air
conditioning
system
in
both
the
bedrooms
and
lounge
room
were
filled
and
clogged
up
with
dust
2.
There
was
a
musty
old
sock
located
behind
one
of
the
foldable
beds,
that
was
obviously
not
ours
3.
The
curtains
and
windows
were
dirty
4.
There
were
old
oil
stains
next
to
the
kitchen
stove
and
on
range
hood
5.
We
found
a
decently
sized
spider
hidden
behind
one
of
the
wardrobes
and
a
huge
ant-like
insect
crawling
on
one
of
the
beds.
6.
There
were
old
spider
cobwebs
on
the
bedroom
ceiling.
7.
The
furniture
was
old,
mediocre
in
quality
and
worn
down
8.
Also,
the
receptionist
service
and
mannerisms
was
relatively
poor
in
our
opinion
I'm
not
sure
if
other
units
were
like
this,
but
a
complaint
about
this
exact
unit
had
already
been
made
a
year
ago
by
another
family.
Despite
all
these
cons,
there
were
positives,
albeit
very
few
including
a
relatively
clean
and
mould
free
bathroom,
semi
comfortable
beds,
and
a
decent
operating
pool
and
spa.
Overall,
our
experience
was
definitely
below
par
from
previous
accommodations
we
have
stayed
in.
We
were
disappointed,
but
the
apartment
itself
definitely
has
potential
to
be
a
good
one
with
consistent
quality
assurance
and
maintenance.
