Ate
at
this
Harvester
a
few
months
back.
When
our
waitress
came
to
our
table,
we
told
her
that
my
girlfriend
has
a
gluten
allergy,
and
long
story
short
after
potentially
ordering
some
stuff
we
were
told
with
utmost
confidence
the
bacon
bits
at
the
salad
bar
(and
on
some
of
menu
items)
were
gluten
free
and
made
of
soy.
Obviously
my
gf
was
overjoyed!
Fast
forward
to
20
minutes
later
and
1
salad
bowl
down.
My
girlfriend
was
told
they
actually
did
contain
gluten,
the
waitress
said
she
was
just
happy
she
got
back
to
us
before
she
ate
more...(not
the
point)
Waitress
seemingly
didn't
want
to
tell
anyone
and
was
panicked,
so
when
the
bill
arrived
I
was
surprised
to
see
it
was
in
full.
I
thought
this
was
poor,
it
wasn't
about
the
money,
but
the
gesture.
Based
on
that
I
thought
it
was
pointless
arguing
and
left
after
paying
the
bill.
My
girlfriend
had
stomach
pains
and
sickness
for
the
next
2
days.
We
did
decide
to
give
feedback
to
Harvester
after
we
got
an
email
asking
for
feedback
on
our
meal.
After
writing
this
down
and
not
naming
anyone
(did
not
want
the
staff
member
to
lose
their
job
or
something)
I
got
a
call
from
the
manager
who
talked
through
what
happened
and
said
he
would
make
plans
to
ensure
this
doesn't
happen
again.
He
also
said
he
was
sorry
for
the
bill,
and
offered
that
if
we
emailed
them
and
make
a
reservation
they
would
comp
the
next
meal
as
good-will.
He
came
across
well
and
I
was
happy
with
the
call,
and
said
to
myself
I'd
give
them
another
go.
Fast
forward
a
couple
of
weeks
after,
I
tried
emailing
multiple
times
and
tried
calling
and
was
never
replied
to,
I
was
stone
walled.
Someone
saying
they
will
do
something,
and
not
sets
off
alarm
bells.
If
I
can't
take
the
manager
at
their
simple
word
that
they
would
give
a
complimentary
meal,
how
can
I
take
them
at
their
word
that
they
will
put
into
action
any
changes
they
discussed
with
me
to
prevent
this
happening
again.
I've
long
since
given
up,
but
thought
it
made
sense
to
write
up
my
experience
for
others
considering
eating
here.
