I loved this apartment, the management always went above and beyond, the prices are great and the apartments are wonderful. They have a Facebook page for tenants to connect. Pre covid they were doing the odd bbq and gatherings for holidays for renters at no cost. They decorate for holidays and are always open to fun and exciting new ideas. They have a grassy dog area where they provide dog poop bags and a place to dispose of the bag. They have a designated smoking area in the back as well. The management make sure the buildings and grounds always look top notch. I will miss this apartment and most of all the management and atmosphere provided. Brenda and Grant are always a delight to bring smiles to your face. My wife and I made many friends throughout our three year stay here and some I’m glad to say are life long friends.I cannot recommend this building and the management enough. Literally fantastic. I’ve been here for almost 2 years. The complex is extremely well maintained. Jackie and Brian are absolutely amazing! I’ve shared extremely happy and extremely sad moments with them. They’ve treated me like my family away from home. As some moving to a new place with no one you know around, they’ve made me feel right at home. They’ve supported me and helped me get prepared for when my parents were going to visit, they’ve embraced my parents and my fiancée and myself through when my parents were leaving and I was in no condition to walk back home after breaking down, to embracing me at the happy occasion when I got engaged, they celebrated with me the Canadian citizenship I received and were right there by my side through everything that has happened with me in the past year and a half. They may be “mere managers” to someone else, but to me, they’re my family away from home. They’re the most prompt, accommodating, helpful and courteous managers one could ask for. They’ve made my stay at Hoylake extremely enjoyable and I thoroughly recommend Hoylake under the stewardship of Jackie and Brian.

what an amazing wonderful building! Jackie and Brian are what make this building a wonderful place to call Home. They made a stressful move from the mainland to the island easy and made me and my family feel so welcomed. I love our unit and Jackie made sure we were happy and we are with our unit. highly recommended!

Amazing resident management team! Clean, hip, and cozy apartment next to liquor planet. Lots of bus options to get to downtown Langford and downtown Victoria. Many shopping outlets nearby for groceries, dinner, or other needs. Me and my partner love our home here.

We had wonderful days we will never forget with Jackie, Brian, Lina from the management at Hoylake and our wonderful neighbors. Jackie and Brian are very involved with every issue and request. Hoylake is always a clean, well-maintained and well-managed apartment. I absolutely reccomend.

Great place to live. It’s a beautiful building with stainless steel appliances, BBQ friendly decks and high ceilings. It being Pet friendly is a big plus! The big difference from other apartments I lived was that the building managers really make it feel like home. They would put up Holiday decorations in the main entry and do BBQ’s, lunches and snacks. Last year we even had a Halloween goodie bag on each of our doors. The building is very well maintained and any maintenance was done right away. I had to move for work, but would gladly live there again.

Just want to give a huge thank you to the building manager Brenda. When I first moved to Victoria I was trying to rent a place sight unseen due to my situation, and she made it so painless and patiently answered my million questions over the phone. During the 3 years I lived there her and her partner took amazing care of the property and were so quick to deal with any maintenance issues. Always friendly and over the top helpful. When it came time to move out last month, it was short notice due to an unfortunate life change, and Brenda was so kind and compassionate. She made the transition so easy for me and I couldn’t be more greatful. If the big bosses of realstar are seeing this, Brenda deserves all the credit, and a big raise. Thank you!!

I’m very impressed with how well the Hoylake Apartments are maintained-grounds and buildings. And how responsive the on site management team of Brenda and Grant Clifford are to any queries or maintenance issues in suite. Brenda recently went out of her way to help me relocate within the building due to health issues. I felt valued as a tenant and feel much better in my new apartment. The atmosphere here is very cheerful. Season changes and special days mean decorations and pre COVID sometimes lobby treats! I would recommend this apartment complex to anyone I cared about due to the Cliffords and their daily work in keeping the Hoylake complex clean well functioning and welcoming. Also the gardens are beautiful and it’s pet friendly. What more could you ask for? JW
