I think this park would be most enjoyed by families with adventurous kids or adults that are excited by heights. Being neither, we found the enjoyment that we got from the park to be a bit unworthy of the cost. The main feature, the suspension bridge, is very cool. I liked learning about it and traversing it a few times back and forth. But that bridge is simply not worth the $66 (CAD) adult ticket. And the other additions to the park (the cliff walk, the treetop adventure, and the neat birds) didn't quite make up the difference for us either. Especially when you can find a suspension bridge (that is not quite as high or as long) a short drive away at Lynn Creek Canyon for free. So again, I think for families with kids, this would probably be a really fun way to spend an afternoon. Do keep in mind that everything cool in the park requires you to cross the 270ft/70m high bridge that moves with every step someone makes. So if your kid (or you for that matter) can't make it over the bridge, then you can't access any of the other park features except the cliff walk, the gift shop, and the restaurants. As an additional note, we were there while the special Halloween decorations were up and we really loved that addition. We also saw that a Christmas light display would be following it. This DID add to the value for us and I would recommend that other try to time their visits to the park with some thing special like that.

Lovely place to enjoy the nature from the heights, the suspension bridge is nice experience, my kid enjoyed a lot walking on the bridge. We went yesterday, there were showers intermittently, however enjoyed the rain forest with rain. Walking on other wooden bridges also give you nice experience if you're visiting for the first time. Ticket price is on the higher side, visiting in the lights is worth the experience as well, in the entrance you can see the Totem poles, don't miss the board walk and photo frame view.

Went for the Love Lights, and it was so beautiful!!!! Lights were even on during the day, but it is more magical at night. Parking is across the street from entrance, was $6 for 3hrs. Went around 4pm so we could experience the lights during the day and night sky. It was a weekday, so wasn't very busy and we had great photos without people in the background. It was chilly at first but with all the walking you warm up really fast. Super romantic yet family friendly. Totally worth it go to especially if you're a BC resident so you get an annual pass for the price of one visit. My only wish is that it stayed open longer because once the sky gets dark around 5pm we only had 1 hr to enjoy the lights since it closed at 6pm. We spent 2 hrs there, got to see everything, but I wish we stayed longer. Overall, TOTALLY WORTH IT TO GO!!!

We loved this place. It’s like an outdoor theme park, with the suspension bridge as the highlight. We went a few months ago when the weather was great and had a nice time. The place is big and well laid out. While it’s big, there are still long lines and it can feel a little crowded. It’s very clean and the staff take care of the grounds and keep it tidy. There are lots of signs pointing attractions and things out as there’s an education here. They have a nice souvenir shop and the offer some food and drink too. While it’s a bit pricey, you can actually make a day of it. There is decent parking although that’s probably something that can be improved. I also totally recommend buying tickets in advance. Overall we really enjoyed our time here and would recommend it to people who are looking for something outdoorsy and fun to do.

The winter lights were stunning!!! I had bought tickets in advance and was subsequently dreading going because the forecast was freezing cold weather. So so glad I bundled up and came. The bridge itself is gorgeous at night time but the rest of the park is something else! I loved the tree walk high above the ground. The lights were extraordinary. Even with lots of people on a sold out night, the park felt large enough to accommodate everyone outside distanced safely. The hot chocolate is a must try. Great family friendly activity

The trip to Capilano was beautiful and far exceeded our already high expectations. Free shuttle to and from the Hyatt downtown on a clean coach bus, beautiful 20min drive to the park. No wait to get in, not crowded, quite peaceful (we went on a Wed around 4pm, perfect time to avoid crowds and get the evening discount). I have never been to a park so clean, well constructed and finished so beautifully. The bridge itself is very cool, but the other add-on courses/trails were an extra bonus. There is a treetop bridge course, a pond trail, and a nature’s edge walk. All trails are wood-boarded so you don’t have to worry about mud/getting your shoes dirty. The views are spectacular, of the mountains, water below, and the vast forest surrounding. Very well done. As someone who is not a huge nature person, I absolutely loved the experience. Very much worth the trip, and you get a bang for your buck. One of my favourite things we did while in Vancouver. Thank you Capilano for an amazing time!

Amazing park with a lot of beautiful nature and some historical facts as well. You get a great view of everything from all the different lookout points and everything is very walkable. Bridge is very strong, but does move a little bit when walking on it. We also really loved the gift shop and bought quite a few things there. We did everything in about 2 hours.

It is a nice place to spend an hour or so. There are other small Suspension bridges to explore in the park, a few rangers explaining about the nature, kids would love it. However for active adults I am not sure I would recommend when thinking of value. I was not expecting it to be so small, the walkable areas are limited with fences. There is no real hiking or trails, they are just paths/loops around the small park. I thought we could explore the park freely after the bridges, there is a beautiful waterfall that we can only see from above, it would be nice to get to explore that area, although preservation wise would be a whole other issue. Either way, it is a tourist destination part of famous movie scenes... so if that is what you are looking for then by all means go visit it. I guess the ticket price would be worth during the night lights other than that it was not for me.

My recommendations for having the best trip: 1. Get the year pass! The year pass and the day pass are the same rate. Also there are some perks of getting a year pass. 2. If you are new to Vancouver or haven't explored Vancouver despite living there for some time (like me), I recommend you to take the free shuttle to the bridge from Canada Place. You will get a small tour of few places in Vancouver which is on the way to the bridge. The driver will tell you some amazing facts of the areas along the way. 3. If you would want to spend some time on the bridge (to take photos or enjoy the view), try to come before 12pm. I came by 10am and the bridge wasn't too crowded. 4. To keep kids entertained, a booklet with activities/questions can be found near the cafe. Once completed, you'll get a sticker when you return it near the bridge. 5. There are lots of spots to take instagram worthy pictures. 6. Good if you visit alone. For the best experience, visit with group of friends or family or just bring your dog (may need to coax with treats them to help cross the swaying bridge).

Once in a life experience ! Impressive suspension bridge ! Very sturdy and. Very high ! Trust its strength! It won’t fall on you ! Got a cool cliff walk ! I like the raptor show too! Didn’t experience the treetop adventure because they are maintaining the program! Experience ticket but it is okay as once in a while thing! Thank you for the good experience!

Beautiful spot! If you are new to Vancouver and are looking to explore, I highly recommend this! Thrilling! Beautiful! Expansive! With amazing photo spots! If you love nature, your heart will be full after visiting this spot! I also love that they have free shuttle services to and from the venue, you can see the schedule on their website. If you have kids, they’ve also organized a fun little adventure for them which I thought Was quite thoughtful! Disclaimer: you want to go there early because it gets very crowded later in the day and so not as easy to enjoy the various spots. (That’s why I give it a 4/5)

We visited during the Love Lights at 7pm. It wasn't super crowded. We took our time so that the main crowd could make their way through and we enjoy it with less people. I highly recommend visiting late. It was great enjoying the lights in peace. The lines moved quickly and the brownie hot chocolate was delicious!

This place is so cool and so wholesome, everyone should go here. The forest is beautiful, and the bridges, decks, and platforms are carefully curated to allow you to interact with the forest without being obtrusive. The main bridge is super cool, with just the right amount of bounce, but the Cliff Walk is where the real thrills are. And the Treetop Adventure is so enchanting, it's like being in an Ewok village. And the complementary shuttle literally from the door of our hotel streamlined the visit perfectly. Definitely go here. It's worth the trip.

A little on the pricy side but well worth the visit. We took the free shuttle from Downtown Vancouver and it was quick and easy. The suspension bridge is a little daunting if you're nervous about heights but the grounds are incredible! I loved all the paths to walk on with the gorgeous tree cover. The talk on birds/owls was really interesting too!

A wonderful experience walking along the tops of giant trees along boardwalks, bridges, and decks overlooking a rain forest. You will definitely want to wear good comfortable walking shoes with some traction and dress for the weather. The park is clean and well maintained and there are plenty of spots to stop for a rest whenever you need a break from climbing stairs. There are plenty of engaging, educational displays for kids and adults alike. There are also numerous food and beverage vendors, although didn't patronize them during our visit. Free shuttles provide comfortable, convenient transportation to and from downtown Vancouver throughout the day. I would highly recommend adding this to your itinerary if you are in the Vancouver area looking for outdoor activities.

Very adventurous place to visit. You need at least 2 hours to explore. Very good and different place, was lots of fun. Really enjoyed huge and tall trees almost 150 years old. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes as lots of walking. Mask was mandatory on bridge due to Covid but others areas it’s not mandatory. They have very good ice cream which I really enjoyed in hot day. Gift shop seems to be overpriced. They also have snacks to buy. Awesome place to go.

We went here for the first time and Christmas Lights were fantastic. Every area had lights and that to different types of lights. Suspension bridge walk was so beautiful and exciting! Coloured Lights were focused on the water which was flowing near and below bridge and it looked so mesmerizing. The wooden path through the forest was splendid. Treetops/treetop bridges were also decorated with string of lights. Overall the Christmas light display was amazing!! Definitely recommend! Would love to come back here in Summer to hike and explore the park during daylight.

very fun visit! the bridge is always very busy. you definitely learn a lot about the history. there was a great place called Raptor Ridge where you could see a great horned owl and a falcon/hawk/raptor (can’t remember) with their keepers who were experts about them and could answer any question. there’s a lot of cool bridges that are up in the trees that you can climb too. we spent about 3 hours here👍👍

I visited this location in late June and liked it. The connecting bridges were nice and the actual suspension bridge itself was invigorating to walk over. However the entry tickets are extremely pricey for what it's worth. Not worth a second visit unless you are in love with the bridge so much.

This is a tourist hot spot but was super impressive. It was much better than what I originally expected. The park includes shaded walking trails for all fitness levels. The views from the treetop structures and suspension bridge are stunning. I thought the price to be steep but then realized the engineering marvel this place is when you consider the expansive cliff walk and other structures that must have been costly to install and continue to maintain. My wife and I are glad we went. I should also mention they offer a free shuttle from 3 locations from downtown Vancouver that operate every 15 minutes year round. If your budget allows go check out this cool park. It offers some truly one of a kind experience.

This is such a fun and must-see place to go! Even when it's a little wet, it's a lot of fun. There is food available there, you can easily spend a half-day exploring the different levels of this park. With lots of rest areas, it's a moderate climb, but still totally doable if you're working on your fitness journey. I definitely recommend going earlier, before 11am as it definitely starts to get busy after that. I really appreciated the free, year-round shuttle, it really sold me on visiting.

We visited the Capilano Suspension Bridge in September 2023. We had a fantastic experience! The suspension bridge is very sturdy and quite long, and the views are breathtaking. Walking through the park, there are gigantic trees covered in the most beautiful moss. We couldn’t believe the size of the trees here! We loved getting up close with them while walking along the treetop adventures. There are also all kinds of fun activities for children to do along the way. It was a very educational experience. A staff member gave my child a scavenger hunt to complete, and she received an interesting reward at the end. As we were leaving, they gave each of us a dated certificate saying “I Survived Capilano Bridge”, which we loved! This is a fantastic experience for families, and it would be a cute date idea too. I definitely recommend.

Park is clean, organized, and scenery is beautiful. You can save $3.00 per ticket by purchasing the tickets on the website in advance. Many people recommended visiting after dusk during the holiday season for the Christmas lights display. Reservation is recommended. I did enjoy the less crowded scenery and able to walk around without the rush, long line, or the crowd and during the warmest time of the day. 😁😉 Suspension bridge, nature's edge and Cliff Walk were all amazing. Estimated time to walk through the park leisurely is about 2 hours for us. There's a shuttle service to and from the park. Thankful 🥰😇🙏.

A visit to Capilano Suspension Bridge Park is not just an outing; it's an immersion into the heart of the Pacific Northwest's natural splendor. Suspended above the Capilano River, the bridge stretches across the forest canopy, offering breathtaking views that are as humbling as they are thrilling. Each step on the swaying bridge brings a mix of awe and excitement, as one traverses high above the river, ensconced in the emerald embrace of ancient rainforests. The park's beauty is matched by its educational value, particularly evident at Raptor Ridge, where the grandeur of birds of prey, like the Great Horned Owl, can be witnessed in a respectful, conservation-minded setting. The opportunity to observe these raptors up close is a rare and enriching experience, adding a profound layer of appreciation for the delicate balance of our ecosystem. The staff at Raptor Ridge are not only caretakers but also passionate educators, eager to share their knowledge about these magnificent birds. Their dedication to wildlife conservation is infectious, and one cannot help but leave with a deeper understanding of and commitment to the preservation of these species. The Capilano Suspension Bridge itself is a marvel of engineering and human endeavor, harmoniously integrated into the surrounding landscape. It represents the perfect synthesis of adventure and accessibility, allowing people of all ages to experience the forest from a bird's eye view. The gentle sway of the bridge with each step is a subtle reminder of nature's omnipresence and the delicate interplay between man and the environment. Throughout the park, the fusion of cultural history and natural beauty is evident. The totem poles that stand tall are as much a testament to the rich cultural tapestry of the area as the trees are to its ecological heritage. Each intricately carved pole tells a story, inviting visitors to reflect on the legacy and lore of the First Nations peoples. For anyone seeking to escape the clamor of the city, the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park offers a sanctuary of peace. It's a place where the whispers of the forest and the calls of the raptors resonate more deeply, leaving an indelible impression of tranquility and wonder on the soul. Whether you come seeking solitude, education, or adventure, the park delivers on all fronts, guaranteeing an experience that lingers long after the visit has ended.

Such a fun place to visit! It's great for kids and offers so many amazing views! As of the end of July, masks were mandatory on the bridge and recommended in others areas throughout the attraction. BC residents, be sure to upgrade your pass to a yearly pass for free. You also get discounts in the gift shop and on food items. Young kids get in for free. Don't forget to bring your camera!

so so amazing. I got amazing pictures to add to my collection, yes although it is a little on the pricey side it is more than I could've ever expected. The bridge was amazing, I got some great pictures and the view was amazing. You wouldn't think that you're in a city at all. It has such a calming tone. It's very quiet nearly no chatter, the cliffwalk was my personal favorite though. It had such an amazing feel. Really did feel like a cliff walk AHA. Most of these pictures were actually taken from there! Please come here if you have time. More than worthy of the price, a nice stop from your normally city life just to really get a feel for nature! 👏😄

This is a must visit place, if you are in Vancouver you cannot miss this place. The whole experience is absolutely amazing, especially because I love to be in nature and so the walk on the bridge, nature's boardwalk, tree house, canopy walk. There's so much to learn at each place, may it be the raptor ridge or the events like totem talk, nature talk and places like story center. Also, there's team available at different location to engage with. Don't miss Cliffwalk, the experience is totally worth it. Loved it so much

Ohhh heaven for nature lovers! Here you can enjoy a good family quality time with your friends, parents, kids, lovers! I loved this place, because you have so much to explore here! Suspension bridge which is kinda breathtaking part, then little bridge which are attached from one tree to another. It’s feel like you are a part of jungle, nature! They decorated this place with lights 🤩 wow which looks magnificent! There is a cliff bridge on the other side, and a very beautiful gift shop as well if you want to buy something for your friends and family.

Very well maintained park with the suspension bridge as a main attraction. The park is on the touristy side but still great to visit. It's nicely arranged, well staffed and has lots of interesting information to read along the paths in the park. It's possible to spot many different kinds of local wildlife. The prices are a bit high for non-residents but it's worth a visit nevertheless.

A wonderful experience! Definitely need to go at night though to get the full extent of the displays! Great place for all ages. But sometimes the walkways can get slippery, so if mobility is an issue keep that in mind. You have to buy your tickets online first and it's a timed entry! So make sure to plan accordingly! And parking can be an issue sometimes. They do have a parking pass and a shuttle to and from a local mall if the lots get full.

This was the first time I visited the park since the late 90's and back then, it was really just the bridge and a gift shop. But now, wow, what a change with the added Treetop series of suspension bridges, the forest trails and the cliff walk. It's all so well constructed and consciously respectful of the natural environment. The gift shop is greatly expanded with an added food vendor with plenty of seating. While we ate, there was even some live entertainment with a young lady in historic costume playing guitar, singing songs and telling jokes. It was a great visit!

The suspension bridge is pretty cool but I liked the cliff walk and treetop walk the most. It literally feels like you’re among the trees. The nature here is so beautiful and unique. I haven’t seen a forest anything like this in my life. The facilities are nice and there is lots to see here. Lots of photo opportunities too especially with the neat totem poles and overlooks. Also it is worth noting that you should get whatever you need from your car before coming into the park (jackets, snacks, water, etc.) as you cannot reenter the park after you leave. Ticket prices are a bit expensive but I think it is definitely worth it.

All I can say is "wow!" They did an amazing job creating this aerial park which has no steep slopes at all. The gift shop was also amazing, which had various unique souvenirs, as well as collectible art pieces. The ticket price includes a shuttle ride from Canada Place at the Waterfront. Pictures don't do it justice; it really must be appreciated in person. I would highly recommend going early in the morning when there are fewer people for good photo ops.

One of those places that you must visit when you’re in BC! The suspension bridge was absolutely beautiful with a bit of fog and water flowing by underneath. Especially in December, with the Christmas decorations and lights, it added a different point of view to the nature. There was more walking than I expected especially those bridges from one tree to another. I would recommend buying the tickets online so you can avoid lining up and if you get a season pass, you’ll get another 10% off when buying food and drinks at least wit those small cafe. You definitely don’t have to worry about packing water and food, as there is plenty of things to try out if you’re into trying things like me! If you love nature, you won’t be disappointed!

Absolutely GORGEOUS!! My husband and I went around 3:30 to see it during the day, crossed the bridge, and experienced the lights in the canyon. Breathtaking. At the end of the Cliff Walk there's also a HUGE section of lights in a garden style setting that no one was at. It exits just past the restaurant if you won't want to walk the cliff too. Also tried the maple walnut ice cream at the back of the gift shop, delicious!!

I always love visiting the Capilano Suspension Bridge! Social distancing at its finest, clearly marked paths, the bridge and other parts of the park were lit with lights which made the whole experience more enjoyable. Would definitely recommend going before the lights get taken down and remember to bring your mask! :)

Capilano is a great day out- its scary when you first you step onto the bridge right the end when you get off. It sways all the time when people walk on it- its scary at times! You’ll pass the suspension bridge twice (enter and exit) so it’s good to get pics while you’re swinging in the breeze. The cliff walk has a nice lookout spot where you can see out and below you; it’s a bit freaky, and the tree top walk is also great. Nature all around you including staff with birds of prey. Lovely fresh air

Without taking cost into account, it's a great experience - Breathtaking scenery, a quick escape into mountain/forest from the city, easily accessible by transit (bus drops you off right in front of entrance), and the food is surprisingly good and reasonably-priced. Friendly staff as well. But $60 on a single adult entry is too steep, Lynn Canyon nearby has a suspension bridge too with hiking trails and is free IIRC. Still, it's a Vancouver bucket list item. I took about an hour for my visit, including sitting down to eat lunch.

Beautiful scenery. During COVID times, they give you a time slot for admission but there's no telling how long people can stay? And it's hard to maintain physical distancing on the bridge itself and the treetop skywalk...

One of the beautiful place to visit in Vancouver region. Following Covid-19 rules everywhere very strictly, especially on the bridge area. B.C residents can get yearly pass on the same price as a day pass. It takes 2-3 hours of your time explore everything. They having a huge parking space as well. I highly recommend this place for the travelers from or out of Canada.

  • 5/5 Maya G. 3 years ago on Google
Really well laid out trail and the friendly staff keep it well maintained. We were lucky enough to go the day before the lights are taken down and with the snow it looked even more spectacular. Would recommend, especially for BC residents who can get a year's pass for the same price as a day admission right now.

  • 4/5 Josh S. 3 years ago on Google
The biggest downside is the price, it's quite expensive. If you're on a budget, just go to Lynn Valley Suspension Bridge instead for free. It's still a cool spot though. I finally went because I had a friend visiting and the Lynn Valley bridge was closed. The bridges really fit in nicely with the temperate rainforest of Vancouver. If you're a BC resident you get an annual pass for no extra. Use it to visit in the summer and then again around Christmas when the lights are up. The light displays are pretty impressive.

Easily walkable paths among large trees. The bridge obviously gets the most attention. Also has a walkway along the side of the valley just north of the bridge. Very nice place to take young children to get cool views of the river and woods

I loved going there when they had the lights. Everyone that works there is super friendly. And you might think it pricy but if you are a resident you receive a free entry for the rest of the year and a discount for a friend. They took our picture on the spot to create an entry card for us. It’s very romantic but also fun if you come with friends and family. I saw a lot of parents wit their children and they looked like they were having a lot of fun. It not that big of a place but such an experience to be in the middle of all those tall trees and walk on the bridge. I highly recommend visiting

Very pretty! Love the lights ! People who worked there were very kind. But the price u pay is just crazy bones. I would think maybe half of it would be affordable for what u see and get but nope. Anyway I still payed it because it was something to do in Van. We made sure to take our time and take lots of pictures to get our 115 $ worth lol 😆 But we enjoyed it got nervous a couple times on the suspension bridges was neat experience.

The suspendion bridge is the only attraction. For the forest part, it's better to go Pacific Spitit or brentwood bay area on Vancouver Island or trails on top of Grouse Mountain.

(Translated by Google) This famous suspension bridge spans the Capilano River in North Vancouver. It has a height of 70 meters above the river and a length of 140 meters. The views from it are impressive, but those who have some vertigo abstain! 😅 Of course it moves and fluctuates with the passage of people. You can also find totems, gardens and trails, as well as the Cliff Walk, which was built in 2011, a semi-circular lookout tower that rises more than 200 meters above the Capilano canyon. 😊😵😍 This tourist area is huge and also has all kinds of souvenir shops and restaurants. To get there, there is a shuttle that has several stops in different areas of Vancouver (including some hotels) and that goes directly to this park. Very beautiful place. A must go in Vancouver. The forest is so enchanting and all facilities are in sink with nature. We enjoyed the bridge, the tree from tree mini-bridges, the walk, the views and how informative the visit was. Everything was perfect! There’s even a shuttle you can take from the city to there (the bus ride was also fun and informative). I would definitely recommend going there for a visit!

  • 5/5 Eric Reyes Altamirano (. 2 years ago on Google
Honestly, I always battle with the price factor on this one. Having said that, the quality of the park definitely merits the ticket prices, and if you’re a BC resident you just kinda know you’ll be back here more than once per year, so the annual pass makes sense, especially for the built in discounts not just for Capilano and it’s stores and foods, but also other tourist attractions around Vancouver as well as a few restaurants and lodges. The park itself is always a nice getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. I just found out today that it’s actually kind of awesome to go just after a good rain too, very fresh air and an amazing mood, and there’s always so many ways to get a good photo in if you’re an amateur photographer like me. Always enjoyable, and I’ll be back soon!

This was a great escape for the day, leaving behind a concrete jungle for an actual jungle. The suspension bridges and trails are relaxing and fun and my family enjoyed our time at the park. They have since added the cliff walk wich is really neat. There is restaurants and food stations, a gift shop and more. We will definitely be back.

Breathtaking view. My first time visiting a rainforest and it was spectacular. The air was so clean. We took lots of good photos. Very nice staff, there were story points in every attraction. Kids friendly place to visit.

  • 4/5 Lisa T. 2 years ago on Google
It's a bit pricey but it's one of those "do it once and never have to do it again" type of things. You can enjoy the entire area within 2 hrs-2 and a half hours. This bridge definitely swings so if you're nervous about that, this may not be for you. Although it isn't the longest suspension bridge in Canada, it's definitely still long enough where you can take your time to cross. Lots of different viewpoints in the area. We took the free shuttle from the Hyatt Regency Hotel downtown and it was very quick! You also get a free shuttle back to downtown.

  • 5/5 Marta B. 2 years ago on Google
Fantastic place to visit as a couple or with your family/kids with plenty of activities including a suspension bridge, treetops adventure, and cliff walk. There are some educational components throughout the park as well including some slug exhibits and some real hawks and other birds that they show and teach you about. You can spend lots of time here but you can also get through in an hour or so. Lots of variety and worth a visit for sure. Parking on the opposite side of the street. Little shops inside if you want to buy anything.

  • 5/5 Cary M. 2 years ago on Google
This is an excellent family friendly location. Parking was a bit of a challenge, but it was busy the day we went. Once inside the park, there was more than enough space to be socially distant and 95% is outdoors. What a remarkable history, and a lot of fun traveling many feet in the air from tree to tree. The edge attraction is also spectacular, being able to over look a beautiful river and trees. Well worth the cost, great way to spend two to three hours. I would add this to a must see list for families traveling to Vancouver.

  • 5/5 Mohamed M. 2 years ago on Google
The place is great and a must visit attraction for everyone not jist tourists or people from outside BC.. I would recommended going there more than once and also taking a professional camera to take good photos and videos that will last with you forever it's an experience that you will try to repeat more than once I would also highly recommend going with a group and it is a total different experience. You don't need to buy anything from outside you can get food, dessert and drinks from inside they also have small shops that sell souvenirs for visitors. If you are going to go more than once I would recommend going once and daytime and other time at night. Also in Christmas it truly looks magical over there with the lights and decorations they set up.

What a fantastic day can not rate it enough I'm terrified of heights but so pleased I pushed myself to go the scenery was spectacular the fresh smell of forest mountain air and the sounds of the crashing rapids below was a treat for the senses. Felt safe and not over crowded. Finished the day with a bowl of hot filling fish chowder and a big glass of wine. Fabulous

This was the first time I went here as an adult and I loved it! Went to see the winter holiday set up they had with lights. It was so pretty and well put together. All the walkways were nice. I went on a rainy day but that didn’t stop me from fully enjoying this place! The lights we beautiful. I loved the part around the bottom by the pond with all those ornament style lights, the lights were all over the pond, it looked magical.. The pictures turned out great as well. The little coffee shop was good, I got their earl grey tea and my friend got a coffee. They had little gingerbread treats which was cute. Staff were kind and helpful. They all had to just stand in the rain the whole time, so they were patience despite all that. This is for sure a place I would like to check out again in the summer! The best part is for locals you pay once to go in and at the end before leaving you can sign up for a free year pass! Sl worth the price! Cant believe I didn't come here until now and its so close to home.

Loved the greenery, huge trees and the amazing natural beauty of Capilano. We enjoyed the suspension bridge, the tree top walk and the cliff walk. Kids loved being the little explorers and ran everywhere to find the clues. Loved the totem poles and some educational sessions to understand the history better. Amazing place overall.

An amazing place, with a lot of nature and pure air. It is located in North Vancouver, but there are free shuttles that you can take at Canada Place. It is approximately 25 minutes from Downtown Vancouver. The park is huge, and the suspension bridge is very nice. There is also a gift shop and a restaurant inside the park. I think it is one of the most peaceful places that I have ever been. It is definetely a must-see if you are in Vancouver, and the price of ticket is very worth it, considering all the beautiful scenarios and structure that the park offers. Prefer to visit it during week days, since the park is more empty.

  • 4/5 Alexis G. 2 years ago on Google
My partner and I had a wonderful experience at the park. We went early (time slot: 9:30am) to make sure we got a parking spot and to avoid crowds. I am so glad we did. It meant we got to peacefully read about the history of the people and the area. The park is immensely well maintained, everything looks clean and well kept. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the bridge itself was magnificent. We did eat at two of the restaurants – the café across the bridge and the grill near the main entrance. The drinks and food were very good at both. It was a lovely location to spend a few hours exploring. My only negative comment is that everything was quite pricey, but you can see that the money is being well used to maintain the facilities. Overall, I would recommend this experience to people visiting Vancouver.

Well worth the money!!! Beautiful, serene. This parks boggles my mind that it is in the middle of houses all around that it is so well done I felt I was in the middle of a huge forest that I could get lost in. Great to visit on a hot day. Well organized, places to get something to eat & drink. Beautiful views everywhere you look!!

Such an awesome experience. Got annual family pass for $150. They have season themes from Valentine's, Halloween and Winter themes so there is always some thing going on. They are Dog friendly, as long as on leash which was great. The Suspension bridge is a little Rocky so there is some sway, but it's not unbearable. The kids did a fantastic scavenger hunt where they learn about the local ecology. Which made it really fun for them. Which I appreciated and felt better about the price I paid for entry. Ice cream was expensive $8. Totem poles and appreciation for first Nations was evident and well represented in my opinion. Suggest to buy ticket in advance, and if local buy the annual pass, good to support attractions like this...

We loved it!! The park is beautiful and so well put. It has several things to do but it’s mainly walking around and enjoying the view. Everything was clean and so well planned you can definitely see that they put in time and effort to keep the place amazing. We went during February so they had Valentine’s Day decorations, so pretty! It’s a must see. Take some good rain weather gear some waterproof shoes and jacket.

I think if you go to Vancouver it definitely is a must to see this place. Tickets are a little bit expensive You can have daily pr yearly pass tickets. . If you buy it online you can save 5-10% The staff in the park are really nice and helpful There are cafes and restaurants there. The experience of walking on bridge and learning about the history of the place us really good. It is also good to understand the information provided in different places about trees and animals Also very nice place for children for playing and learning

  • 5/5 Monica G. 11 months ago on Google
This was a great park, just large enough to go through with kids in tow without tiring them out too much. I could see how weekends might be really busy and I would probably opt for weekday if you can to really enjoy the views it is a hefty priced ticket so you want to make sure you get max value. I will say this park is not for anyone that has a fear of heights - there is a suspension bridge with quite a bit of movement even with minimal people on the bridge - it is a good distance to the other side so please be aware. That being said the views from The various bridges, the birds of prey, totem poles all made it pretty interesting and worthwhile for us.

  • 5/5 Sharon D. 11 months ago on Google
This park really is a must see in Vancouver. The price of admission is expensive but it is definitely with the money. The park is absolutely breathtaking. Everything is perfectly maintained and sparkling clean. The employees are super friendly and helpful. The forest is lush, peaceful and amazing. The long suspension bridge is very exciting to cross and there are several other shorter suspension bridges connected from tree to tree. I have never seen anything like this anywhere else. They also have a couple of cafe’s and a large gift shop. There is a covered pavilion and plenty of places to rest and relax along the trails. Most of the trails through the forest are beautiful wooden boardwalks. AMAZING! Parking lot is right across the street.

  • 5/5 K F. 11 months ago on Google
Very much worth the visit. Buy tickets online as they specify the time for your entry. Lots of tour buses so come early and probably want to make it a weekday. They even have a great coffee shop up in the trees....on the other side of the canyon. The restaurants are also good.

  • 5/5 Julien L. 11 months ago on Google
We had such a great moment at the suspension bridge. Everything is well organised and safe for the whole family. Kids can enjoy some activities organised by the owners. The views are incredible and you also have some food choices on site. However, I would recommend to go early in the morning as the parking lot gets full pretty quick and you would have to line up to cross the bridge. We arrived at 9am and it was the perfect timing to not be bothered by other tourists. We booked the tickets in advance online which help to get inside quicker.

  • 5/5 priyanka p. 11 months ago on Google
There is an admission fee. You can get cheaper tickets if you ticket in advance on their website or via Groupon or from Vancouver information center. It gets crowded during afternoon. So plan your visit as early as possible. Parking is available near the park. Wear comfortable shoes cos there will be a lot of walking and stairs. Family friendly area, very educational as well. Lot of food options - vegetarian friendly. Carrying a small water bottle helps. Open 365 days. Restrooms are very clean and well maintained.

So.much more then a bridge! My first time, and now understand the attraction. Lovely history to the place, beautiful extensive paths in the tree tops and on the ground. Outstanding world class facilities including a large shop with clothing, candy, and tonnes of local products. Plenty of pretty sitting areas and snack stops, pick sun or shade and bigger sit down restaurant. In addition to the stunning natural beauty of the canyon, river, and forest there is detailed exquisite landscaping e.g. man made creeks near seating areas, triple thick glass benches that look like salmon underneath you, ponds, standing rocks...lovely wood open air gathering huts, tonnes of staff to help and direct visitors, interactive learning stations, exhibits, and well done educational activities for kids. I am deeply impressed with everything.Oh ... and there is an awesome suspension bridge :D

A beautiful and majestic rain forest park with amazing canopies, and of course the suspension bridge that goes across the Capilano river. Loved learning about the history and all the Native American influence and the totem poles are beautiful. I really like the way they preserved nature and even for the canopies, they were so careful in terms of preserving the trees, and making sure that nature was respected. Some of the trees in the forest are 1500 years old and the granite canyon was carved out through erosion over a period of 100 million years, incredible.

  • 5/5 S S. 9 months ago on Google
What a great attraction! The park is an absolutely great way to spend part of your day. Entrance was a bit pricy but worth it considering how large the park is. I would also recommend catching one of the interactive exhibits like the bird talk while you are there if you can time it right. A must see if you're in the area!

Brilliant experience... Besides the suspension bridge, there is a treetop walk, a nature's edge walk, and a cliff walk. All of these are magnificent. Very good educational input given along the way by staff and informative boards. A great place for children too. There is a free shuttle from Vancouver.

Fun! Thrilling! The whole fam loved it. It was fine for our children, ages 8-12. The views and history boards are educational as well. This would be fine for nearly all ages. It is expensive but even though we live in a strict budget, it was totally worth it. I highly recommend the trip.

Great place! We took our time and spent a few hours here. The Treetops Adventure is worthy and manageable. It is an easy walk across short, stable suspended bridges (not wobbly). The Cliffwalk was scarier than the suspended bridge (in my opinion), but also very doable. Beautiful scenery. Educational opportunities (in writing and with guides) throughout. Would definitely go back.

Nice park with lots of walking opportunities for families. Went end of October so everything was Halloween themed which was probably great for the children. Easy walks and some good photo opportunities. I spotted an eagle so there might be a little wildlife involved 🤩 Treetop walk can be crowded!

  • 5/5 Randolph J. 7 months ago on Google
A cute stop! Maybe a little expensive, but you can spend a few hours here exploring and taking in the scenery. A few places to grab a bite, drinks, and treats. WONDERFUL for kids and learning- since it was October, there was fall/Halloween everywhere. It definitely gives strong tourist vibes, so be prepared for that.

A fun and unique perspective and experience crossing a suspension bridge over a mountain river and then walking the treetop adventure and cliff walk. Some stairs so need to be mobile, but 70 year old parents did the tree top walk with rests. Easy for kids but not really stroller accessible. Easy access to bathrooms, multiple cafes, informational displays to educate about the rain forest and animals who live there. Gift shop onsite with West coast gifts on hand. Go early in morning for a fuller experience and less crowds. Highly recommend!!

Absolutely beautiful outdoor excursion. Had an amazing time walking through the uniquely built suspended walkways. The staff was kind and helpful when my group was asking questions. Beautiful exhibits of First Nation history, supplies, and tools. Good food and cute little gift shop that is decorated with a warm log-cabin feeling.

  • 3/5 Amy Z. 7 months ago on Google
The bridge is in a beautiful place and quite a developed area with restaurants, a gift shop, guides but it's really expensive if you're just looking for a hike somewhere beautiful. The bridge at Lynn Canyon looks exactly the same. It's more worthwhile for BC residents though since that gets you a full annual pass so you can go check out the lights during holidays. But for tourists... it's great if you want lots of creature comforts and you're willing to pay for it.

I recently visited the Capilano Suspension Bridge and it was an incredible experience! The breathtaking views and stunning scenery left me in awe. What really impressed me was the Halloween decorations that added a delightful touch to the natural beauty. A perfect day out with my family. However, I had a rather disappointing experience later on. After we left the premises to grab a quick snack, we had to walk a whole mile in the cold with my 4-year-old son to re-enter, only to be denied access. It was frustrating and no one explained the re-entry policy when we bought the tickets. Such a letdown after the fantastic first impression.

Whoever decorates the venue with the statue's and skeletons 10 out of 10. The whole time I'm wondering how in the world did you get these skeletons up high in these trees. The bridge is nice and bouncy LMFAO. The tree top trekking is nice added value. Must see if you're a tourist

I just went to the Capilano Suspension Bridge Canyon Lights and it left me utterly spellbound. The entire experience felt like stepping into a fairyland and then magically finding myself in the enchanting North Pole, where Santa's spirit is alive. One of the standout features for me was the welcoming atmosphere, even at closing time. Unlike other places where you might feel hurried out the door, there, no one kicks you out and you are left exploring and enjoying the enchanting lights and festivities until you are done. The choice of music throughout the park was exceptional, creating a perfect backdrop to the visual spectacle. The lights, adorned with mesmerizing movements, kept us engaged. It's evident that the organizers have paid meticulous attention to detail, ensuring an unforgettable experience. As a proud BC resident, I appreciate that your annual pass includes Canyon Lights. It's a fantastic way to celebrate the holiday season, and a great value to locals. Thank you, Capilano Suspension Bridge, for creating a winter wonderland that truly captures and gets us into the holiday spirits! 🎄✨

Scenic venue with many nice elevated walkways. Visitors should be comfortable with swaying suspension bridge and heights. Shop has a very extensive range of quality local products. Food available on site. Very handy free shuttle bus from various downtown spots, parking lot and transit stop. Special displays for holidays. Interesting educational panels. A top attraction for visitors and locals..

Drove up from Seattle to see the lights. 2 1/2 hour drive and short 20 minutes to cross the border. Was WELL worth it! Went at 3:30 p.m. so as to walk around and see the lights at dusk. Park started filling up more after our arrival. Staff was very friendly, and paths are well marked. Highly recommend. The bridge does sway and bounce, so consider that if there are issues with walking. However, there are other paths within the woods that also provide fantastic views of the lights and surroundings.
