    Update 202-109-18 All of our broken items were speedily replaced the day after we notified them. Cassandrea was very responsive and helped us! I still think the registry system ould use an overhaul. As nice as the stuff is here...There are some really terrible things. The method of creating and for ordering from the registry is archaic. You cannot add from the website directly to your registry. You have to call or email to update it. When people buy from it, they have to call to order it. Then when we received one of the gifts via UPS, which included a set of plates, bowls, and glassware, less than half of the items made it through unbroken. The box doesn't say fragile. The packaging inside was pathetic. Just cracked items inside. Set me off on the wrong foot at crate and barrel with this registry. I would NOT recommend getting your registry done here.

    Update May 2021: This is the only store left due to redevelopment. The medical buildings are open still. Crate and Barrel is a very nice and large store for home furnishings. #letsguide #covid

    Too expensive. Their sales staff is good but I’ve known A LOT of people that have worked here in the past and are currently still working here. The stories I’ve heard about the management working here are horrendous. For that reason alone I will never shop here. The way they treat their staff is absolutely ridiculous. Learn to respect people and treat them fairly. I would name specific people in management who are up to no good but that would cause the current employees issues as that would put them at risk.

    Here are some photos of my kids bunk bed that was recently delivered and installed. Notice the sharp, jagged, exposed screw and the ladder that is not even attached on one side. Totally unhelpful in trying to sort out a replacement too. Nice work Crate and Barrel!

    I was looking up this place on google when I decided to check on reviews. I want to point out that I have a similar story. I know atleast 4 employees that work there currently in the back. And they are miserable. But can’t do anything about it as they need the job and are also toyed with by the management with fake hopes of promotions. If these reviews help make the lives of the employees better, I will write one too. PLEASE TREAT YOUR EMPLOYEES BETTER.

    I always enjoy shopping in this store. The staffs are experienced, friendly and helpful but not pushy. The price is pretty fair for the quality they are selling. I enjoy the in-store shopping experience.

    Recently we purchased thousands of dollars of furniture from crate in Vancouver after finishing the build of our house. Recently we purchased a duvet cover from them and after opening it and setting it up. We noticed there was a small hole in the duvet. We spoke with the online customer service and they advised we could take it back to the store and they would be able to return it. Today we took into the store and the cashier and started to process the return. She needed an approval in the system and called over her manager “ Joey “. When Joey came over he started to question us why we were returning it. We advised we spoke with customer service and there is a hole in it and we don’t want to worry about it getting bigger. Joey then started to ask us to show him the hole. We advised it was there and he could look for it if he was worried. Joey then accused of us of lying that there was a hole in the blanket. After 45 mins of him looking at the duvet. He was able to find the hole. Joey did not apologize for his accusation or anything. Crate and barrel as a company should not have people like Joey representing them.

    Absolutely horrible! Delivered a huge mirror that we unboxed and it was shattered.. refused to dispose of it or compensate in any way. Has sat in my living room for over a month and still no resolution. Will never order large furniture from here again.

    This is the most disappointing shopping experience that I've had so far. I've ordered a Queen size bed in last December and it didn't ship out until May. Finally, it arrived. But 50% of the parts were for a King size bed and the other half was for a Queen size bed. So, I contacted Customer Service and they said they'll issue the replacement. Waited for a week, no email updates regarding the new shipment, so, I contacted Customer Service again and finally they issued the replacement. Two weeks later, the parts arrived, but it is just a box of screws... not the wooden parts that are for the Queen size bed frame... So, I contacted Customer Service a.g.a.i.n. and they said they'll look into it but just to note that the earliest shipment for the replacement could be in June. I can't believe that I have to wait for 6 months for a new bed to complete. I honestly don't think I will ever buy anything from them again.

    Huge in store selection for furniture. I really enjoyed looking at the products in store before purchasing. Staff was knowledgeable, kind, and easy to communicate with. My furniture was delivered by the estimated timeframe (as if was backordered). Assembly was straightforward, would be easier with two people. However assembling this alone was no problem, just a bit tricky. Overall pleased with the experience in store and product quality received. I recommend this brand.

    Hadn’t been in for a long time so I went in today to see what’s new. Not one employee greeted me, not even to ask if I was looking for anything specific or if I needed help. Two of the staff were so so engrossed in their conversation, laughing amongst themselves that I walked by them 3 times and they couldn’t stop laughing to ask if they could be of assistance. WOW! Good customer service is a thing of the past at Crate and Barrel.

    We have been regular clients , on that day I was going for a eye check up , I was early and wanted to spend some time at Crate & Barrel , I was greeted by this young energetic very talented young lady SHAFIYA who introduced her , welcomed me and answered the questions but did not wanna buy anything. However while she was explaining I wanted to buy some top quality German kitchen knifes which she convinced me and spent almost over 700 dollars , I thought she was a professor of German knifes , after her explanation I bought knives and a non stick an Italian hot plate, my wife still compliments for this purchase . Incredible customer service beyond expectations, answers all my queries . This young lady is unbelievable.

    This would have been a 1-star review, however, customer service has offered a small discount to make up for my inconvenience. I ordered a bar cabinet for my home at the beginning of April, and online the "expected delivery" date was early May. After waiting patiently I called at the beginning of May and they said it was actually coming Mid-June. I finally received the order after months of waiting, and the delivery drivers dropped it and shattered the marble top of the bar I ordered, with a nonchalant "oops, just call and they'll send you a new one". When I called Crate & Barrel they said no problem, your item will be in end of OCTOBER. Simply ridiculous, and I would have thought I would have been expedited or moved up the wait list since I'd already been waiting so long. Anyways, long story short, since I already had a gift card for Crate & Barrel that I was using I've reluctantly ordered another bar (not the same bar as I can't wait that long). So I'm settling for less in order to get this bar earlier, which is looking like it'll be late August now. Don't think I'll be ordering with them again after this...

    If you are interested in something call before and make sure it's available in the inventory unless you will never receive it! we placed an order in early March and it pushed back 3 times, now ETA is end of May and there is no guarantee cause they have no control over their suppliers. you can buy something this year and receive it next year!

    Really helpful but still not nosy staff. Just as it should be in any store. If you know crate and barrel you already know they are not a budget store, but I think for quality products its must check store.

    The absolute most amazing associates in store, truly amazing. Helpful, informative, engaging and genuine. And if you're looking for Christmas Ornaments or Decorations of Holiday Treats (AWESOME Treats) this store is the place for you. And yes, obviously, exquisite furniture for every room of your home.

    The one star is because of the delivery services. I ordered two Ventana cabinets. In the first delivery they showed up 2 hrs earlier than expected and left the package with my son without removing the packaging. It’s a 300 pound delivery that I had to unpackage myself. The second time they showed up with two instead of 3 people for such a heavy delivery. They took the cabinet back until next time when they will come with 3 people. In the meantime, I’ll live in a mess created to make some space for the delivery guys to move around. C&B is good, but they need to work with a better delivery company.

    Got an email that my product had arrived early and that they would only be holding it for a week. Problem was I was on Christmas vacation, and the email had gone to my spam folder. When I finally did see it and called, after two rings I was immediately speaking to a human being - a rarity in this day and age. They ensured me that my order would be held indefinitely, and I could come pick it up at anytime. Honestly, just the fact that I called the Oakridge location and got through to someone without a million different automation inputs is enough to give a company 5 stars these days. That might speak to the state of customer service in 2023, but regardless I really appreciated it and will be picking up my glassware set tomorrow.

    I ordered dishes in February 2022 for an anniversary gift, it finally arrived June 29th....broken dishes, box was very beat up. Will Never order from this company again!!! Update- buyer beware- a 4 piece place setting is only 1 mug, 1 bowl, 1dinner plate & 1luchen plate, Not 4 of each, which is what a normal 4 piece place setting is ( Google it) And I have Not received my money back, want to change my rating to 0⭐

    We wanted Kitchen Aid Pro line 7qt - This hard to find American Made model is an online only item. C&B was the only local store (Lower Mainland) that sold the model through their website. Additionally, C&B's Return policy allowed for this model to be returned to store, saving the hassle of shipping back a defective item. We went to the store to finalize a decision about colors and we were well guided by the young man at Appliance section. He was well dressed, wore glasses and had a nature about him that was Part Owl and Part Wizard. He had the vision to see through our confusion from afar, and the knowledge to step forward and gently nudge us in the right direction. The best kind of customer service. Reading the reviews, we had some concern about C&B's delivery service. However, there was not even the slightest dent on the 35lb box shipped 2200 miles by Purolator from Naperville, Illinois.
