Ordered the regular beef donair with everything and the butter chicken poutine, Both were delicious and the staff was very friendly!! I highly recommend it

I work as a Site Superintendent for Metro-Can Construction at Alexander Square. I stumbled upon this donair shop and tried the food. It blew me away! Highly recommend it to those who like quality, quantity, and affordability. The staff wet were polite and cheerful.

We had Hashtag Donair Donair for our company lunch for about 35 people. We had really good experience with the restaurant staff as the communication, ordering and the whole process was very easy. The food was made fresh, packaged very neatly and tasted amazing. Everyone loved the food. The restaurant was also kind enough to give us complimentary fries. Personally, one of the best tasting Donair in the area, good quantity and worth the money. The staff is super polite and helpful. Highly recommend.

Hashtag Donair is my favorite place to eat in Langley! The staff are always so kind and welcoming, the food is amazing, the portions at huge! Everything about this place is great. Oh. Heck. Yes. My husband is a total donair junkie, and this is our favorite spot. All of their sauces are on point, falafel is perfectly crispy, and the poutine is always loaded up with cheese - the staff are so friendly and efficient, and they don't cheap out on the toppings. I crave this place like no other, and feel very safe stopping in for takeout with their Covid protocols.

Whenever I see a restaurant with a bunch of reviews from people with one or two reviews, I'm always suspicious. Nevertheless, I was craving schwarma and decided to try it. The interior is clean and looks newly renovated. There food is really not great though. How much sauce do you need to put on the beef to mask the lack of flavour? Evidently quite a lot.

Love this place! Their Donair fries are great and would recommend! I'm from Nova Scotia, if you ever want to know how to make real Halifax Donair sauce or make your Halifax style more close to the real thing let me know! Great place and they don't skimp out on the meat at all and that's why I keep coming back. Keep up the good work!

Honestly this place just keeps getting better I've been with him since day one since they've opened up since they were literally two machines and nothing really even in the store these guys will succeed because of the way they treat their customers and the way they feed their customers their food is always bang on and big portions for your money you don't have to wait long and nothing but respect when you go in there different cultures different race doesn't matter we're all in the same place great food go check it out

We had a Hawaiian falafel and fries for snack. And they were very tasty :) their fries were very crispy and Hawaiian falafel was juicy and tasty 🧡 I tried to be cheap and tried to use a coupon. But, I didn't read the rules of the coupon before using and the staffs were very patient and polite when they explained they couldn't take it. I work in a restaurant and dealing with low budget customers is not fun. These guys were good :)

I used Hashtag for our company Christmas party. They were amazing! Very organized and nice! I got my food on time and it was perfect! I would absolutely use them again for a large event. My team had a lot of dietary restrictions and they were able to accommodate all of them.

I always go for the Falafel Wrap with everything, plus extra pickles and all the sauces. I don't even like raw onions but I love them on these things! There is not much seating anymore and these days it is probably better to just call them and get it 15 min later.

I hadnt had a Donair in a very long time and my standards were very high as Ive been going to only 1 or 2 others shops as they served amazing Donairs. However, once I had a Donair at HASHTAG DONAIR, I had even higher expectations as it was SUPER, INSANE, CRAZZY YUM YUM YUMMY ! So good, will go again and definitely Recommend it. I had the beef and chicken mixed donair !

Hashtag Donair is my go to spot for great Donair. Really great food(Love their fries and donairs, especially the beef) and absolutely amazing service. They always remeber me and know exactly what I want when I walk in. They also have a great selection of drinks that you won't find anywhere else. The girls working there are always great to talk to and get suggestions from as well :).

I have been a customer for about a year. The food is excellent and the young ladies are incredible. They remember what I order and make me feel like a welcomed customer. Did I say the food is incredible?

We have ordered shawarma plates from here twice in the last week and it’s been so very good that we’re about to order it again today. The portions are great, the meat is always juicy and tender, the sauces are perfect, even the little salad is exceptional. And the hummus. Woah. It’s almost more like some delicious garlic dip. It’s definitely a must try. If you’ve been considering giving this place a try, definitely worth it.

This is a wonderful place to get the best donair for your money. There is not much seating and it can be quite busy. Skip the Dishes does a brisk business with #Donair.

Food is great, been going here for a few years. When the owner worked here service was exceptional however now that he's no longer there the service is subpar. More than once I've called in an order for pickup and they forget to prepare and start making it on the spot. Not impressed anymore.

The food is really bad in taste, we asked for two same donairs with hot sauce. They both were something else. Sauce didn’t tasted good too. Please dont go after reading the good reviews. This place is not worth it. Not at all hygienic.

This place has thee best donair poutine I've had in BC. Comparable to some of the ones I've had in AB. This is my go-to spot for doniars and poutines. Super nice staff and friendly atmosphere.

Decent for an almost shawarma plate. Nice people. Decent amount of chicken. Everyone is measuring these days. Seems to have a fair bit of traffic. They dont call it shawarma they call it a rice plate. But its close to what I used to enjoy downtown Vancouver years ago before those places all dried up. Where did all the Lebanese family businesses go? Anyway, Hashtag is doing a good job and at a decent price. Parking is limited. In an industrial area. Not fancy. I dont care for fancy these days. This review is from Aug 2020 posted by me on Yelp # Hashtag Donair Hi all it's been a long time since I have done a review of sorts thanks to the pandemic, and I should say it sure keeps you healthy, eating home made and delicious verity of food. Today after a long time I got some food from outside. Middle eastern, Mediterranean or Arabic is our preferred food choice when eating out (take out). Today let me share a story of another not so good experience even though the customer service was good. I went to get some shawarma tried online for some new spots and the place in Langley popped up (Hashtag Donair) first I thought what in the world is that name.... just for online and marketing purpose? Or is there something to it??? We went in to order some. This is is what we ordered. 3 chicken shawarma wrap 1 meat lover shawarma (chicken) wrap 4 chicken platter, 4 falafel, (no pickled turnips and garlic sauce) 3 baklava Thankfully I had asked them to make the chicken more grilled and or fried. Reached home started out with the shawarma wraps. The packaging of the wrap was impressive and that's it, any positivity to the food ends there. Unwrapped the lined foil to eat and I felt that this would not end well cause there was no wrap to hold it in place (after unwrapping I should have used the paper bag that it came in, too late). First bite is mostly just pita and some veggies for almost every shawarma you get here in Canada or US, that's exactly the same here as well. The second one I got to taste the chicken, veggies and the sauces (hummus, garlic and tzatziki sauce) the taste was totally bland, no zing or zest in any manner to it. Even with hot sauce it didn't have any sort of spiciness. The third bite was similar and the first drop of juice fell on to my hand and that was the start of the disaster which led me to think is this the first time I am trying a shawarma or what!!! Half way thru it my plate was messed up with droplets of all the sauces oozing out of each and every hole it could find, what a mess. It would have been okay if it was tasty. In between I had the falafel and it was the smallest one ever, but the texture was pretty good. Well fried and another negative was it was way too salty. For the falafel it is supposed to come with pickled turnips, pickled chilli and sometimes olives and a serving of garlic or tzatziki sauce but nothing. Got some pickled cucumbers after requesting for it, that too in the tiniest container ever. I didn't feel like eating the entire shawarma but had to finish it. Without wasting much time I went for the platter and once again the presentation was really good. The salad was good and so was the rice and that was it. Same chicken without much flavor and an important thing I noticed was the hummus which was like a loose gravy where it was supposed to be like a spreadable paste. My daughter likes Baklava but she didn't like it either. No going back. The counter staff and the presentation was the only positive point in this experience. I should say the place was pretty busy with almost 10 orders going out via skip the dishes and door dash and one other customer during the 25 minutes wait, it was also Friday evening and most people get their eat outs during this time after 5 long days of work. If the management or ownership is reading this please look at the way you wrap a shawarma please do a visit to couple of places I have mentioned earlier and learn from them.

This place used to be the best until lately. Almost 14$ for a rice platter and you get half a scoop of meat but extra rice and sauces. As I sit here eating it in disappointed. Hummus is good

The food here is fresh and you get a descent portion for the price. The humus is really good. I always get the rice platter with lamb and it has been consistently good.

Used to come here alot and get the loaded donair fries but they cut back alot on portion sizes and kept the same price which doesnt make sense to me. Led to me and my co workers not going to hashtag donair anymore. It sucks because their food was good but everyone at my work loved this place for the portion sizes

Most definitely a one-off. Donair salad: - the donair meat looked and tasted nothing like it should. It was too thin, slimy, wet, and pale. It came from a bucket of preshaved meat that was sitting in it's juices and full of moisture and drippings. Not ideal for salad, let alone a pita shell (way too soggy!) . No strips of nice shaved donair meat like most places have. And the taste and texture was not right. Upon closer inspection, it looked like store bought shaved roast beef that was poorly attempted to be spiced up and turned into an authentic donair slab. Maybe it was a mix of the 2.... I don't know. But it wasn't right. And I second a previous review regarding the sweet sauce texture being that of fine granules of sugar. I noticed it right away before even reading the review. Tasted like pure sugar with a hint of garlic. Other Halifax donair affectionados like myself would be appalled .... The rest of the salad was fine. The veggies were fresh, the garlic sauce was great, and the feta was plentiful. I can only speak to the beef. If, and only if, I was forced to go back, I'd definitely get the chicken instead. Decided to try this place when I was working close by due to the amount of positive reviews. I found the Donair to be very bland, got all the sauces and it was so so. I wasn't planning on posting a review until I found 2 chicken bones in my chicken donair. I find this inexcusable as I could have broken a tooth.

The donair would have been good except the sweet sauce was not mixed and I was biting into raw sugar. I could not eat it. I let the staff know so that the next person wouldn’t have the same experience. They said thanks but never offered to replace the donair I could not eat. The guy did take a lot of care making the donair and the ingredients seem quality. It’s too bad because I will never go back.

I haven't had my falafel wrap from #Donair for a while now. It was just as delicious as always. Fresh veggies and wonderful sauces. The place is clean and friendly staff always. The only problem is the size of my wrap is so huge! I will ask next time if I may order a child size. You can't go wrong with the food here.

Not the best donair I’ve ever had but service was great and it fixed my craving.

Quality has gone down tremendously, prices aren’t reasonable for what you get. Way to overpriced. Unfriendly staff. They will make you wait until they are finished with preparing their skip the dishes orders even if it takes them 20+ minutes. Very unprofessional. On top of this on more than one occasion I find myself getting diarrhea from their food. Again makes me question the quality and how they store their food. Fraser health should look into these guys practices. Will not be returning!

The parking here is little bit hard and limited, we ordered 4 chicken donair and a beef. Chicken ones was fresh but the beef wasn't really fresh, also they put too much red chilly power or sauce in the donair and it was so spicy we only ate half if the donairs can't handle it. I hope they will improve in the future.
