Very bad experience we paid for VMax and this is what we got, the movie was not even in full screen in the theaters. Atleast should have the courtesy to inform customers of this. Was not worth paying and getting this, could have just seen it in the standard screen.

I will really recommend this place to watch your favorite movies...its pocket friendly and you will get anything you want....

It was refreshing! We hadn’t been to the movies in about 2 years, and we were able to get some real movie theater popcorn, sodas, and candy! The premier lounge is great! Recliners, a/c, and trays on each seat!

Seriously worst hospitality service after watching Tiger 3 in premium session on 15.11.23 5.40pm. Doesn’t deserve 1 star, should be zero. I ordered a cocktail and a pizza and their system was down so they wrote the order down and paid cash. Got my drink 1 hour into movie (ridiculous!) and the waitress said the pizza will be coming soon! Then waiting for my pizza, it never came and had to get off my seat and go down to multiple times to confirm. I was so hungry and everyone in the premium got their meals. 1.5hours wait and to know the pizza wasn’t in the order but the waitress said the pizza will be coming soon! Get your bloody service up-to standard! I’m a tourist!

Was at the premium cinema. Pretty cool with reclining seats. A little pricey though.

Just a suggestion, don't screen two famous shows together as there is lack of space and service becomes slow in the snack bar. Also have a separate ticket pick up counter for customers who have already paid for the movie tickets online and just need to collect the tickets.

Good cinema, really nice female cashier/worker served me but I also applaud the other staff too (like guards, etc). Okay prices for beverages and food. Would go again.

Good clean air conditioned cinema. Has all the latest Hollywood and Bollywood movies. I'd like to see more Arthouse movies, however if they do get something that is not a blockbuster it is usually on a very limited run. Premium seats are ok, some are now broken.

Clean and tidy, even for the toilet! Safe for the kids too

A lot of hazards identified. The floor area near the confectionary sale counters were wet. Someone must have spilled their drink. It was slippery and I saw few people nearly slip. The signs were useless as the surrounding area was also pretty wet and there was no alternate pathway. The pathway to the toilets was wet, dirty, stinky with no toilet paper. A sink was blocked and everyone kept using the same sink. I went to the Vmax and the seats were good I must say.

I absolutely love this place, one of the best places for a good movie experience. With modern facilities, state of the art interior design, gives a feel of relaxation. Friends and I often come after exams. Highly recommended.

I prefer watching movies at damodar compared to the one located at Suva great atmosphere and the temperature is not to cold could not give it 5 stars because the increase in the number of unsupervised children wondering inside the cinema eating left over popcorn and food.

I went for Antman and the Wasp movie. Ordered a coffee and a pizza. They delivered the coffee but the pizza didn't arrive even after the movie ended. What a disappointment it was. They made me wait for 20 mins to refund my money. It was already 11 pm and all restaurants were closed. I had to go empty stomach that day. Terrible management.

The movie theater was very clean, but the sound balancing was not great. The treble and voices sounded very washed out compared to the bass. For someone with slight hearing problems, it was a little frustrating and detracted from the experience somewhat.

Damodar City Cinema is arguably the best in the country at the moment. The VMax theater, in particular, is the best out of the 4 located in the Damodar City complex and is the closest Fiji has to an IMAX movie theater. Having just watched "Avatar-The Way of Water," it only heightened the experience watching it in the biggest screen in the country. A definite must do.

While it’s great that Damodar city is doing a lot of investment, which is creating jobs for people, however my question is what about maintaining it? Recently, i visited the cinemas purchasing premium tickets which are overpriced as it doesn’t match the quality of service and standard of the cinema. The seats are filthy and stained with melted choc top, popcorns stuck in seat corners and uncleared rubbish. Besides the cinemas, the bathroom is filthier. The toilet flash doesn’t work, floors are extremely wet and surely hazardous to walk on (health n safety issue)! I just can’t describe how filthy it is just because i may run out of words! This is very shameful that there is no effort put in to maintain but focus is only on new investments. Highly recommend to avoid purchasing premium tickets. Waste of money!!!

Like most places in Fiji, once they've been in operation for a while and wear take place, the upkeep is not followed through. The quality of the movie itself is brilliant but there were lack of staff to serve the lines of people waiting to buy snacks, the toilets are dirty, and the cinema was dirty and seats smelt really dirty! Not the best atmosphere 😕
