Discover more about the history of Fiji, its culture and people. The adjoining cafe has a nice array of food including an amazing pineapple and mint juice. Walk around the adjoining gardens.
Excellent museum with history and artifacts for the region, not just Fiji.
Nice place with lots of history and artefacts. We were followed by a scammer who was trying to sell things to us so just be careful and stay vigilant. You can take photos and videos inside the museum too.
It was an interesting place to see some of the Fiji history and culture. It was fine. Would love to see more. Government should invest a bit more, may be fix the entrance pavement too.
This was a highlight in Suva however I didn't give it 5 stars because it's not big enough! Fiji's history deserves more and I believe a bigger museum would be more respectful. I also liked the section in the museum about pastic waste and global warming. Amazing grounds and people... thank you for a great experience!
extremely interesting..learned a lot I never knew about Fijian culture and history.
this is a must-see for anyone who wants to obtain a cursory understanding of the history of Fiji. It touches on who the Fijians were prior to colonization: their modes of transportation, dress, textiles, culture, and other artifacts. It then displays life post colonization, the British uniforms, missionary dolls, and the introduction China indentured Indians and other interesting finds. There was a cute gift shop, and attached cafe upon exit. (Edited to correct typos.)
Sehr interessant, es gibt einen schönen Einblick in die Entdeckung Fiji 's
Λίγα εκθέματα, όχι διαδραστικό υλικό για την ιστορία. Ενδιαφέροντα ήταν μόνο τα κανο που είχε
I recommend you to go here
Smallest Museum I ever visited. It is one room, with a few nice items but I would think Fiji culture has a lot more to show. Café looked nice and shop in extension was okay. Not really a Capital worthy Museum.
Hermoso museo...
Highly informative, great exhibits. Definitely recommend. Has AC, so it's perfect for a hot day
Klein maar interessant museum, de moeite van een bezoek waard als je in Suva bent.
Very informative and educational tour. Must visit.
เป็นพิพิธภัณฑ์ขนาดเล็ก แต่น่าสนใจ มีของจัดแสดงให้ชมหลายอย่าง และประวัติของบุคคลสำคัญ
Shows a great balanced history of Fiji.
The museum has a collection of archaeological material dating back to 3700 years. Fiji being a multicultural country, I loved the fact that it not only had Fijian artifacts but also Chinese, Indian and different Pacific Island. I've always heard about Fiji's History but seeing it is different; I got to learn about how the ancestors made everyday objects.
