I would not recommend this place to anyone! Made bookings for a wedding 2 months in advance. Made full payments! A week before the wedding they started demanding extra money for the venue and food. Also threatening that they can cancel the booking if payments are not made knowing that the venue is already on the wedding card!

Went to check-in and leave my bags at the hotel but the receptionist and the hotel do not allow bag storage at all or early registration. Only at 2pm onwards. Weirdest thing I have heard in Fiji at Tanoa Hotel in Suva only. So this hotel do not allow early registration and bag storage - the hotel reception in Suva said that today 21st Dec at 10am. So just FYI future travellers - this hotel do not allow early checkin and bag storage. First in the world.

spent a very pleasant 3 nights, mid Nov, not too busy. very friendly n accommodating staff, free full breakfast, beautiful view of Suva from our 6th floor room. Nice clean spacious room, comfortbale bed..conveniently located with 5min walk to downtown, large parking.

Quiet rooms, air con worked, comfy bed, and very clean. Pure Fiji amenities. And best of all a very friendly staff. For a nice stay in central Suva without the party crowd or a four-figure bill, the Tanoa is a solid choice.

My first day at the hotel and step out for dinner with families for 4hours,back to my room a value package was missing from my suitecase and I can't believe it believe I just check in at 3pm went out at 5.33pm back at hotel at 8 .40pm package is gone..I did not enjoy my 2days business stay of what happen.. Vinaka.

Easy accessible and the friendly staff made our evening enjoyable,topping it up was the fisherman's busket menu really delicious.. Will definitely recommend it.

Stay was excellent, amazing staff, always well looked after. Clean and tidy place and convenient location but however. 2 weeks after my stay i deduction of nearly $1000 was made on my card, after many emails finally received my refund nearly one month later but however not the correct amount was deducted. Office staff aren’t of any help when replying , had to wait weeks for a reply. Ended up paying interest and overseas transactions fee on my card and still have no clarification of what had happened.

The fisherman basket is a great deal. I just wish they would serve it warm.

Recently stayed at Tanoa in Suva for 6 days, conveniently located in the heart of Suva. We we’re warmly greeted by staff and check-in was seamless. Modern rooms, contemporary design with a great view. Affordably priced with free and secure parking, I will be staying here every time I visit Suva. Vinaka! 💚

Great place, ambience of the dinning area is to he experience, with the bar and rest room almost 10 steps away depending on what side of the dinning area you seated. Located in the nestle of the city center yet away from the hustle and bustle of the actual city traffic. Great friendly staffs, like Joesph, Deepika, Tom and the team. WELL DONE

The best part about this hotel is the warm & friendly staff! My family stayed 2 nights here in the suite, and we were warmly welcomed by Joseph and his vibrant energy - definitely perked us up after a long drive from Nadi. He was the only one on duty when we arrived, but we were impressed at how efficient he is - taking care of our check-in, serving us food during dinner, clearing our plates all while picking up calls at reception, checking in on guests, etc. Such a gem! On Friday evenings there is a lovely live band and more staff around, and the great vibes really rub off on you. I love how everyone including staff, guests and visitors have an enjoyable time at Tanoa.

Very poor admin from the time you walk in to time to walk out 👎🏽😩 1 month in advance booking ..backed up with a phone call to what we actual need in rooms terms...(family wanted kids to be with us in interconnected rooms) Yes sir yes sir will get it. Walk in no one aware of the request....1 nite ...next morning get a call ....that our room will be moved ....and kids 8 rooms away...Hopeless. No water in room to drink ..not enough milk...Cant wait to get out here.

Room nice and clean. Hotel tried to charge an extra $5.00 for coffee set up in the breakfast area. Not a good call. Some staff surly.

It was ok. Expected a bit more for the price. Wifi is rubbish and if you want a faster speed you have to pay more. Seems a bit excessive. Room was nice and clean, but there was some small cockroaches in the bathroom at nighttime. These bugs don’t bother me much but I know a lot of people couldn’t sleep in the same room as one, maybe some bug measures need to be taken in some of the rooms.

I've been here for my holidays for 2 nights. Room service is very pathetic where a worker in this hotel can enter any room with advantage of Mastercard, without any notice to guest in the room. Without saying "room service" or etc. Otherwise the hotel is perfect for 5 stars, ignoring this India lady as an room service attendant.
