I’ve stayed here two different times. Once, back in 1986 and the more recently in October of 2018. The place has not changed and I like it that way. It was quiet and I enjoyed several evenings sharing tea with the night security Man and with a couple of Fijians. The place is clean enough, you won’t need hot showers in the climate and you can wash your clothes by hand in the back. I stayed 4 nights this trip and didn’t use the kitchen for anything other than tea as there are many cheap restaurants in Suva. It is a cheap place to stay and that is what you get. A spartan room with a bed and a ceiling fan, that’s it. If you need wifi or lots of electrical outlets this is not the place for you. I will stay here again.

We were here during Christmas - place was very peaceful and quiet (might be different when full). Everything was very clean and well organized. Good room size, nice kitchen and Backgarden. There were no sockets in our room so charging was a bit difficult.

No frills rooms in an colonial wood building, budget friendly. Rooms 1-4 has power and usb outlets. Common kitchen, toilets and showers, hand wash and dry your own laundry in the lush garden. Friendly staff

No power sockets in the rooms, No hot water, Plenty of different bugs, Not clean, Toilets don’t have toilet paper, Showers don’t have doors. The location is fine, the staff is ok, but really slow Kitchen isn’t clean… If you find something a bit more expensive, just go with that place. Don’t come here unless its a must.

You can cook your own food, the kitchen area is shared. It's alright. The reception closes at 10pm and opens at 7am. A common room is there if you wanna relax and read books.

Good reasonable Hostel in nice location. Helpful staff. I will come back.

Can't beat the price. Close to town, the service isn't amazing but they will help you book a ferry or taxi. There are sixty+ rooms here and only four guests. Cools down nicely at night. Comfortable veranda for meeting other guests or reading. Kitchen has everything you'd want except no basic spices provided.

A great price for a hotel in Suva. The building has clearly seen grander days - great bones, too bad it's not in its former glory. As it is this is a no frills, quiet, comfortable, easy to walk everywhere location. Fully equipped shared kitchen. The garden is immense and quite lovely.

The staff were very kind and responsive and the room I stayed in was clean. The place was centrally located and the price couldn't be beat in that regard. If you do stay here though, make sure you request rooms 1-4 as they are the only ones with power outlets.

One of the cheapest accommodation options in Suva with a feel of 19th century homeless shelter. Old run and down building offering few facililties, rooms lack power points , cold showers only and dont forget your own soap and toilet paper . Higher room rates for non local visitors apply . Only possitive experience was friendly staff.
