Took my daughter for a hair cut today. My daughter is mixed with curly hair. The ladies said the hair should be straitened in order to get a straight cut, ok, makes sense. So after a wash and a blow out her hair was simply chopped, no cut no nothing and it definitely isn’t straight. Her hair was completely straight when it was cut. And the lady waved it at the bottom so I couldn’t tell right away how even the cut was. She also didn’t use any heat protectant. They charged me $92 in total. $92 plus tip for a 10 year olds wash and dry and a choppy, uneven hair cut that I will now have to spend more money to fix. It’s defiantly not worth what they charge. Stay away from this place.

Absolutely phenomenal! Nene has been my stylist for an incredible 14 years. I have tried, but simply cannot find anyone better. Despite moving, I am dedicated to driving 2 1/2 hours to have Nene work her magic on my hair. Her expertise and talent are unmatched, making every visit a truly wonderful experience!!!

Very nice salon space and staff. I recommend Nene Dominican Hair Salon. My hair stylist was very professional and my hair came out just the way I wanted it. I had a deep conditioner and she massaged my scalp and it felt wonderful. I will definitely be back. Thank you for a very pleasant experience. They also offer cafecitos to client in these cute little coffee cups if you so desire. 😊🥰

Great salon. No waiting around they get you in and out. I'm so in love with my hair, I've gotten so many compliments. It has body and feels so soft. My stylist was Virginia. I will be back.

If you are looking for an authentic NY dominican style wash/set this place is it! The staff is very professional and the salon has a modern chic decor. I usually get my hair done by Derci or Nene and I am always satisfied, they also have very good timing. I highly recommend.
