Happy birthday Mugi-chan! I don't know what to say, it made me so happy to be able to visit the former elementary school of Toyosato, truly a heaven for any K-On! Lover. I definitely lack the words to say what I feel so, in a nutshell: please visit this place if you can.

Very beautiful school in a quiet town. Unfortunately I was unable to get a tour so I could not see all areas of the school, however, if you are going because of the anime you can still see most of the locations (including club room and anime related collection). It is absolutely worth the peaceful journey out into the country and locals are very helpful as they must get many tourists coming for the school, but make sure to keep an eye on returning trains as to not be stranded! Admittedly there was something slightly creepy about walking down almost empty halls of a once lively school, and the building does feel very old. There is a gift shop to with a selection related to the anime and school as well as donations if you want to support the maintenance of the school. Also doesn't have conditioning, I went in June and it was pretty hot... this review is way too long mb

Toyosato Elementary School. This is the school that appear in the K-On! Anime. The music club room arranged so it would looks like the anime itself become a reality. If you are K-On! Lover, this place is a must visit. You can find a museum where every people around the world give one of their collections. There are a lot of K-On! related figures, poster, even Mugi's Keyboard Korg Triton, Ritsu's drum, Yui, Azusa, and Mio's guitar. This is a good place to visit. You can held a photo session inside the building too. But you need to ask for permission first. Overall, this is a good place.

If you're a k-on fan, this place is a must-visit. I can't do justice to how good this place is. Even if you're not a k-on fan this place will still be enjoyable

If you are in a group, you can visit the science room, the rooftop, and so on. So it is better not to go alone. The science room is especially scary. There is an "educational X-ray machine" (Made by Shimadzu Corporation), where elementary school students used to study things like, "Look, you can see through my hand." This is not high school. This is an elementary school. There is a fume hood (draft chamber in Japan) in the science preparation room (an isolation device to prevent death in case of poisonous gas or something during experiments). If the researchers at Wuhan had studied here from elementary school, they might not have made such a careless mistake as leaking the COVID-19 to the outside.。

Beautiful historic elementary school with a history of WWII and featured in K-On! Open to walk around and often quiet. Very tranquil and beautiful

A must visit if you're a fan of K-On! Toyosato is a super fun place to visit! Be warned though, local trains come once an hour, so plan accordingly!

It’s a must place to go as a k on fan and there is not much to do they put away some things that used to be in the club room when I went and not much k on merchandise gift shop but it is a trek a way and can be costly. Be mindful of the train schedule as the country sides trains runs farm fewer and later I was stuck there but a Local helped me

As of today September 14 2023 there is tarp on the outside of the school but you can still go inside the school including the club room.

Currently under renovation until 8 Jun 2024. Still worth visiting though if you are a K-On fan, visitor centre sells merch and has a small museum.
