Lovely food, fast service, looked great and tasted even better

Went here for my first time eating sushi and was blown away. The food was phenomenal, the chef is an artist, and the server was the friendliest imaginable. Would give more stars if I could, and will be returning the moment I can find a good excuse.

Very authentic and delicious tasting Japanese food. Been to fair few Asian restaurants in the area and this one stands out. Decor was perhaps a bit dated and garish, but the food made up for it by far. It was noticeably cheaply priced too, with most dishes being in the area of £8 to £9 which is very good value for money!! Highly recommend for anyone.

Warm welcome and the seafood noodles were delicious. Very quiet deserves to be better known. A lovely family restaurant. Will return.

Excellent food, lovely family-run establishment. We go here regularly as we enjoy the chilled-out atmosphere and extensive menu. There are great options on the menu for children and many vegetarian dishes to enjoy.

Popped in here whilst staying in the hotel almost next door on a work trip. Initially chosen for convenience , however I'm glad I did! Tuna sashimi was melt in the mouth and the teriyaki salmon ramen was delicious. Had a lovely chat with the chef (who was also waiting on a quiet Monday evening) who was attentive and spoke passionately about his food.

Very tasty food and the restaurant looks incredible. The boy who served us was working hard to do his best and we appreciated the effort. I will go back again next time I'm in Swansea!

We had an amazing lunch here. The food was heavenly, and the waiter very helpful. As he was the only person in on that day, and he was also preparing the food, his high level of service is even more impressive! Would highly recommend, and will come back!

I don't know if they were having an off day, and I dislike leaving reviews this bad, however... the food tasted metallic. The woman who served us seemed aggravated that we didn't order more (which im glad we didnt because it was not good). Didn't give us utensils or napkins. The most she spoke to us was when my card payment didn't go through the first time. I love Japanese food but this was awful. Thick cuts of poor quality fish and awful service. We won't be back.

Arrived around 7:30pm on a Thursday. Came in with my work colleague, was only the 2 of us in the restaurant. I had the unagi bento box and a side of salmon sushi rolls. Food was good, made better with the sake. I ordered the warm sake and my colleague the cold. Very generous amount of sake, took us 2hrs of chatting and drinking to finish our drinks 🍶

Went for our anniversary, and quite frankly the service and food was awful. The fish tasted off and had a funny taste, I'd rather eat supermarket sushi. The server wasn't up to standard either, we were missing things and she wasn't very friendly either . Wouldn't recommend and definitely not the 'best'.

Absolutely delicious food and excellent service! Everything we ate was beautifully presented, quick to arrive and so so so tasty! It was quiet, despite it being a Saturday night, and the lady who served us was very friendly and attentive. Can absolutely recommend!

First time eating here and I have to say it was superb! What a little hidden gem. Everything cooked to perfection! I had the katsu chicken whilst my partner had seafood udon noodles! Spot on 👌🏻 The tempura prawns were also delicious. We will definitely be back!

Tried the bento box and the quality is just depressing. The gyozas were hard as rock and the chicken was too greasy. Want to try some sushi but after taking a look at their fish in the fridge, they all looked off and unappetising. Wouldn’t recommend this to anyone who want authentic japanese food.

Although a bit on the expensive side the food is always amazing, the fish is always fresh smelling and tasting. The service is first rate. I would recommend this venue !

tried the very famous Nishimura, utterly disappointment got hopeless and didn't bother to try sushi in swansea again, until last night the craving led us to this restaurant as many others were closed for some reason... gladly each variety of sushi had a different flavour,, tasted fresh. Ginger was bit dry though. totally loved it. Restaurant was not crowded and there was just 1 lady serving the tables, so took some time. Wasn't really happy with Ramen as I couldn't see any salmon and bearly 4 5 prawns thats why 4 star. Also king prawn in hand roll was oily and over fried...but for sushi will definitely go there again. 😋

Absolutely lovely food here new I chi ban on highstreet Swansea bottle of wine, saki, mixed nigiri sushi, scallop nilgiri, calafornian roll, duck gyosa and mixed tempura, £65 fantastic value for the quality I still can't believe that something as simple as egg on rice can be so tasty my fav was definitely the tuna all was fantastic tho

Very good sashimi, but the rainbow maki was a little disappointing.

Great food, lovely decor and fast service. Ramen was served in big portions, very satisfying. The grilled eel was incredibly tender and flavoursome. Definitely recomend.

Average quality food. I got a dragon roll a soft shell crab roll ( super skinny...) and ebi dumplings. The dragon roll eel was a bit burnt, not sure it was meant to be that way. The service was also average. More on the lower side where it seemed I was more of a burden than a customer. For the price is really nothing special.
