Underrated gem. Great portion sizes and lots of tasty options at a reasonable price. You can dine in and they also offer takeaway on just eat. They usually deliver pretty fast. Highly recommend if you want more authentic Chinese food! Update: Not sure if they’ve changed management or something, but the menu has completely changed and everything is now vegan. While I'm pleased to see that they're catering to different diets and I’m sure this may be a positive change for some, but I wish they had kept some non-vegan dishes on the menu as well.

The food was very late and when it did arrive it was disgusting. The curry was oily and had no sauce. The rice was hard. The chips were stale. It was as if the food had been left there for hours. Easily the worst Chinese meal I have ever had. Waste of money and a rip off. Don't order here

Took 1 hour 45 mins for the food to arrive. Food was cold. This Qhongqing spicy chicken cost £9.40 and half of the container was chili, half of them are chicken BONES. I mean it. It’s not chicken breast/ thighs/ wings, they are unwanted parts from the whole chicken. Total rip off.

Their hotpot base is so amazing! Very different from other restaurants. Definitely worth try. The only drawback is the quality of raw foods, such as veg, sausages, beef, lamb, etc.. which can be improved.

By far the best Chinese iv had EVER. I have eaten in Star for over 7 years and iv NEVER had a bad meal. Cannot comment on their take away as iv only eaten in on their authentic Chinese menu. 100% recommend.

Had a lovely meal here tonight for a birthday meal couldn't fault the food or service if you do come here I highly recommend the hot pot it was amazing highly recommend and will be back soon i guarantee that

I wish I could give this restaurant a 6 out of 5. The first thing we were asked is whether we were vegan. We were then introduced to the best vegan menu I have seen and reassured that all vegan food was prepared and cooked separately. The food is beyond my expectations. I would recommend to anyone looking for a great meal in Swansea.

Ordered food on deliveroo and it is definitely one of the best chinese food i’ve ever had! So delicious, everything was really fresh and had lots of flavour. As a vegan i struggle finding a range of dishes that i can have but here they do everything! The vegan sweet and sour chicken is absolutely amazing, the chow mien was unbelievable as were the salt and pepper chips! I can not wait to try more here and i will definitely be trying the hot pot!

I was curious about their additional extensive vegan menu so I visited with a couple of friends. My friends who aren't vegan decided to opt for the vegan menu so we could all share a wide range of dishes and they were just as impressed with how incredibly tasty the food was. I would highly recommend a visit. Great service too.

I can’t believe this town have a proper Chinese hotpot like this with unlimited meats! They have beef, lamb, seafood, Chinese balls and mix of vegetable. The soups are amazing, especially spicy soup. The staff also friendly and serving with a smile~ If you know Haidilao, this is the same taste ❤️

Absolutely fantastic. Have often walked past this restaurant and never thought about going in or looking, however when looking at the menu the other day, realised that it was all vegan. As a vegetarian I found this very appealing, and upon dining here was extremely happy with the quality and flavours of the food. It is very rare to be able to look at a menu when you have dietary restrictions and are able to choose anything off the menu. Fantastic and enjoyed every bite. Will definately be back!

Great little spot just off the busy main road. Amazing concept and great food. Table was a little small for the amount of food and equipment so it was a bit of a juggling act. But would 100% come back again.

Excellent authentic proper Chinese food when things are working well. Unfortunately you have the feeling that sometimes the staff can't be bothered to live up to that standard. I went twice and had 2 very different experiences. The owner needs to keep an eye on the restaurant. Properly managed this place would be a gem. It was only the great experience on my first visit that stopped me from rating this place lower.

My wife and I had food in the restaurant tonight. The vegan menu was spot on and will definitely go back again at some point. The owner seemed really enthusiastic and interested in explaining the menu to us. Only downside was finding out the card machine wasn't working when I went to pay, so had to go and get cash out. Otherwise, can't fault it.

Excellent Chinese hotpot place. Good variety of delicious hotpot soup bases, dip sauces and vegetables/meat dishes for the hotpot. Enjoyed the tom yum, tomato and original soup bases. It is free flow food as long as there is no wastage. Reasonable price and good customer service.

Fantastic experience, staff were very friendly and the food left me wanting more even though I struggled to finish what I had but not for a lack of trying. Looking forward to eating here again.
