Dr. Wiza was rude, offensive and abrasive. He told me outright that’s his nature to be direct...ie; rude, offensive and abrasive. He didn’t listen to anything then told us we needed to make an appointment for a physical even thought we already had a physical weeks earlier. He barely filled out needed forms which were sent back for more information from Excellus. He became angry when I told him his attitude stunk and that I wouldn’t return unless my special needs daughter who he was working for was moved to the other Dr. in the practice. I have reported him to Rochester Regional Health and Excellus. I recommend avoiding Dr. Wiza at all cost. He’s not worth the one star I had to give. Horrible experience and the first, second, third and final one. This was the first time i ever had to correct a Dr. in multiple issues over three visits. I wish i had read the reviews. Be as direct as he is to his patients and avoid going to Dr. Wiza. He should not be a practicing physician. He’s just mean and will not listen to you.

Horrible, Dr. Wiza is and not worth 1 Star based on my personal experience!! He is cocky, negative and Unprofessional. I was a patience for a while until a divorce and things changed for me! Due to my Ex DB, and my children still being his patients I decided to move on to another PCP. As a few years went on I checked on my Child's well being with Dr. Wiza and he changed his demeanor and treated me like Sh** beneath his shoe! I told him he better loose the attitude and we had 50/50 joint custody, do Not add insult to injury or be cute with me! I wouldn't refer him based on him judging and casting stones due to a Divorce. Despicable behavior shame on you Wiza, I would not let him denounce me.

I will only ever go back if I can see a nurse or PA. I saw Dr. Wiza today for the first time; he had horrible bedside manor, and does not care. He genuinely acts as though you aren't worth his time. The rest of the staff is wonderful and kind.

I used to be a patient here and had an awful experience. Dr.Wiza was very rude and uncaring. He never listened to what I had to say just pushed prescriptions on me. Then when I filled out a release to have my records sent to another office he refused to refill my antidepressants. My appointment with a new PCP was months away but he said I was no longer his patient so I went cold turkey off my antidepressants and had a really rough couple of months. I would never go back to this office.

He was my doctor and he REFUSED TO SEE ME! Expressed concerns with my health and even tried to set an appointment with another doctor but Wiza was the only one available at the time. I get a call back to go to an urgent care Wiza doesn't want to see me if it's "possibly work related." He was never good with my kids either. Only the PAs there are good.

I took my daughter here who was a little over two months old at the time to see Dr. Wiza. She was having some trouble with switching formulas. Dr. Wiza was beyond rude. I was explaining to him what was going on with her and he told me to be quiet and when he was ready for me to talk told me now I can speak. The appointment was a complete waste of my time. I brought my daughter into the office were there is sick patients just to be told what I asked them on the phone to switch back to her old formula. When we were leaving I said I will call if I have anymore concerns and he says I'm sure you will all rude. I knew right there I will not be returning and switching to a dr who cares about their patients and there concerns. After all that's what a good Dr is for. I will not be bringing my daughter back there to someone who can careless about a infant and their mother's concerns. I will let people know not to go there and see Dr. Wiza he is very arrogant and rude. Pretty sad a Dr would talk to you that way and be that rude. He just lost two patients and more because I definitely won't recommend him. We found a great pediatrician closer to home. I will be recommending them to my friends and family who have children.

I was a patient of Dr Wiza's for at least 13 years. Fortunately, I didn't need many appointments, and many times I saw a PA. My main reason for leaving is that I no longer live close to his office, but what sealed the deal was when he almost kept me out of work because he refused to "write a novel" when my employer asked for my specific limitations after an injury. I was immediately able to advocate for myself and received the brief letter I needed from him to continue work, however, that's not how I want to be treated by a doctor. There are better ways to treat patients. Proceed with awareness if you choose him.

Not sure why the reviews are so poor. Been going to Dr. Wiza for years. I love his straight to the point style.
