We ordered paella for 2 people. The waitress came, showed us our paella for 5 short seconds and then took it away. A minute later she returned with 2 plates of food which looked like seafood risotto. They don't serve paella the way you get it in Spain. They just put it on small plates. If I knew I would have ordered something different.

In Mexico, where I grew up, a visit to a restaurant is more than just a good meal. Rather, it is a repetitive reunion with the owners, their staff and familiar guests. I always feel at home at Don Jose.

Truly a fantastic taste of Spain here in Switzerland. The service and staff are brilliant, the food is to die for. I have been here now with various colleagues and family and every time it has been a wonderful experience.

Great food and service, recommend to reserve for dinner or weekends. Octopus and Paella are great!

Food is good and authentic but expect wait times to be on the longer side. Service is good and they try to serve the group at the same time. Nice lively atmosphere and good music. One of the highlights is definitely their delicious wine.

I have never been in such a good and well-concept Spanish restaurant, it is curious that you find the perfect Spanish restaurant in Switzerland. José and Marianna are amazing people. Thanks for your time and service.

Very friendly waiter and delicious tapas

I was very satisfied with the service and the food there. They are so friendly and as a visitor I enjoyed really atmosphere there. For a better food choice you can ask Jose and he will help you know the best for you I cant wait to be back again ! P.s. try the crocketas and Gambas ajillo. Finger licking good!!!

Amazing, authentic food (go for the tapas!), great wine (even the by the glass) and friendly, good service. Last time I are Spanish food that was this good some colleagues took me out for a special meal while I was visiting them in Barcelona. Don Jose matches the same quality that I got there - just as good as great places in Spain itself!
