nice service, not intrusive, discreet. he does not ask every 3 minutes "do you like?, tastes". This is okey. Fact, is expensive. The noodles is very fat. Oil is non stop on the lips. Salad very sweet. Not okey is fact - the partner took another: "mix salad", but exactly the same set was given... with the same sauce..., and the price difference was colossal, because I have 3 shrimps extra 😂 This is not okey. Generally I am disappointed after the reviews full of delight. it was not bad, but was no "WOW!". It tasted completely normal. Without salt. The chef forgot about its existence. I can recommend it, but for the price I expected Chinese shock... dizziness, and I got the ordinariness of flavors as in Migro. BUT - the last page Menu, entertained me to tears😂😂😂 and maybe that's why I dont feel China in the restaurant.

Ich war das erste mal da, und bestellte eine scharfe szechuan Suppe, und zum Hauptgang Pulet Koh Pao. Beides gut, und wurde sehr schnell serviert. Personal und der Chef sehr freundlich, habe mich wohl gefühlt

The shrimps were raw, the main dishes were similar( one was Tai another one was Chinese) serving of the food like from 90s, service was terrible- no apologies after bringing wrong dish!!! No appetite to eat food after ruined mood.

It is a place for quick lunch to fill your stomach. Nothing gastro about it.

I had the 🦀 crab soup and it was delicious. Although it was just an entrance soup I was really filled. I shared a main course later.

Sehr freundliche Bedienung und hübsch eingerichtete Location. Wir bestellten zur Vorspeise 2 Frühlingsrollen (war eine Portion), die sehr lecker waren aber für den Preis viel zu winzig waren. Zum Hauptgang bestellten wir einmal Süss/Sauer, das sehr lecker war und wir definitiv ein zweites Mal bestellen werden und eine Portion geröstete Cashew Kernen in Soja Sauce. Die waren auch sehr guet aber eher etwas fad. Das Essen kam direkt nach dem Bestellen, man musste kaum warten. Zusammen gefasst waren wir sehr zuftrieden und kommen gerne wieder :).

Hier fühlt man sich wohl. Gute Portionen für den Preis, essen ist mega! Die Bedienung ist super freundlich, Chef bringt einen oft zum lachen. Komme sehr gerne wieder :)

Es ist sehr schön dort und das essen sehr fein. Ich kann das süsssauer poulet nur weiterempfehlen.

Sehr schöne Atmosphäre. Preis auch sehr fair. Essen sah lecker aus aber leider entäuschend beim Verzehr. Egal ob Rind oder Huhn, beides schmeckte fad und gummig.

This place use to be fantastic before Corona. These days the quality is just not up to standard. Red Thai curry practically white and tasteless. Use to be great. I hope it goes back to the way it was.

Took a business group here. Choice of food is too big and the food while adequate was nothing special. Therefore the high pricing could not be justified. I wouldn’t go again.

I have been to Smiling Fish a dozen times, and for the price you pay the quality has been consistently great. The staff is always friendly as well. Do not expect a strict authentic kitchen though. I would recommend to anyone!

Comprehensive menu, good quality, reasonable price, but staff behavior, especially with family who has kids, could be better.

Staff is very friendly and I had a non standard order- some to eat and a couple of dishes to take home. Tables are put at a safe distance from one another and adhere to the social distancing recommendations, staff is wearing masks and made me feel safe.i For beer drinkers- there is müllerbrau from the tap and couple more thai and asian beers from the bottle. Wine card has some variety. Starters- order the standard spring rolls, bit disappointed honestly. It was definitely from deepfreezer and had lots of oil. Not worth 7.50 chf for two pieces. Sushi- nothing extraordinary apart from price.40 chf for couple of rolls of spicy tuna, california and maki. Main dish- green curry with tofu, this tasted fresh and was really good taste.i wish the chef from the curry can oversee the others to make it better quality overall. Nice location and qality can improve. Specially after corona impact i would like to see the restaurant business spring back to its earlier heights, please put in a little more effort and this restaurant has lot to offer.

Great Service, delicious food, becoming a regular guest since my first visit.

Wish I’d have gotten pictures but the food was to good to wait, extremely good curry and dumplings. Our entire table was happy with the service and quality.
