Cute city with a very well connected train line. The old city has a very original vibe and very good restaurants and cafes. The forests that surround the city makes it very easy to meet with nature in minutes. I lived there only for 8 months but got very upset and nostalgic when the leaving time arrived.

Comparing to other train stations in Zürich Kanton, I found this one to be a bit dark and dirty, could have more clean places (near the train lines) for non-smokers and to protect us from the cold. WC should have quicker access. There a small zone with some stores, that area is better, but again, it should be a train station, not a shopping. There's a bus station in front of the train station, kinda messy with all the traffic. There are plenty of screens with infomation.

I entered Switzerland for the first time at Winterthur Central Station. This railroad station is situated in the Swiss canton of Zurich. It serves as a significant hub for trains coming from all across Switzerland as well as neighboring European countries like Germany and Austria. It has numerous platforms and train tracks. A two-story building with a parking lot atop it is where passengers can pay to park their cars. I like the architectural design that is similar to that of Germany. There is an underground walkway that connects the various platforms. Intercity buses pick up passengers and take them to their various locations in Switzerland. I arrived when it was snowing heavily, thus I was unable to see the lush countryside. Despite this, the snow made everything gorgeous. Great to be here!

A beautiful city with historical buildings, and the old city is very excellent. The history brings you back to the beautiful past, and there are also very modern buildings. It is an organized city and there are all nationalities. The languages ​​you hear at the station are many, and this indicates that the city coexists with all nationalities 💖👍

Neat and clean place We'll maintained display But for wifi you need either Swiss pass or working mobile number, without otp you can't use WiFi and that's sad thing.

Not really the greatest layout of a train station. Platforms 1 and 2 are at a different place than all the other platforms which can make it very difficult to reach all the platforms in a short amount of time (i.e. when you have a connecting train on platform 1 from platform 4)

This great little plaza and platform is probably the main and busiest spot in Winterthur. The station is pretty clean most times and it's nice that there's a Starbucks nearby. Although there can be a lot of people, it is a pretty laidback and quiet place.

Lots of great little shops and a couple cool restaurants right at the station to visit while you're waiting. Always clean and easy to go through, I'm usually excited to see that I'll be needing to make connections through Winterthur.
