Went to the Klimt's kiss exhibition on a weekday and the light hall was not super crowded, which was very nice. All the text and audio are in German, but there are headsets and QR codes for English translations. The light hall had a very interesting spatial design as there were pillars in the middle which made it hard to see anything from the second floor. However, we had a lot of fun experiencing the story from different perspectives by moving around the hall. Unfortunately, the golden room was under repair at the time of our visit.

Lichthalle MAAG is an amazing spot, awesome shows. All the shows are specifically designed and programmed to match the layout of the hall and include every single bit of it. The ceiling, the floor, the walls, everything is used as part of the show. It is very immersive and can capture you right away, especially with the amazing sound system. Have been there for three shows and will definitely go for more. There is always a time beam in the entrance floor, giving detailled information on the artist the show is about.

This venue is easy accessible by wheelchair. It is on the ground floor. This interactive 3D multimedia show is probably the best I've ever seen. The material and everything is well planned and the music is superb. It's all very aesthetic. There is a very good restaurant close by that I can recommend for a drink or food. If you have not seen Monet's gardens then you should go and do it now.

I went for the Klmit Kuss immersive exhibition. It was unbelievable, in a very good way. They have headphones with english translation of the exhibition. I enjoyed it very much. I look forward to other exhibitions the next time i visit Zurich. I highly recommend a visit if you are in Zurich.

I have been twice. It was an OK experience. The space is big, and the video projections are nice. In general you can spend there 30 minutes to 60 minutes easily. But it is very expensive for what it offers.

The idea or the concept to let the audience "bathe" in light and colours comes probably very close to Monet's perception and understanding of experiencing light and colours in a seasonal and even daily altering space. So I found my first visit in the Maag Lichthalle very matching to the exhibition. A remarkable spectacle. The finale of the show however musically underlined by Ravel's Bolero was a bit disappointing. The dancing water lilies didn't have much to do with Monet displaying his universe of colour and light - therefore I would have preferred a final "bath" in Monet's nymphéas and landscapes to the design of the show makers. It would have been a more graceful and elegant salute to this grand master of paint and vision.

The museum overall is pretty small with just a couple of corridors leading to the big room. The corridors themselves don't have a lot of "light" going on, that's only in the big main room, which tells a story with pretty images on the walls. Some visuals are pretty cool and can make for a nice romantic experience. But be warned that the whole thing is about a single artist, so if you are not fond of that particular artists, you might want to skip this.

I was there for an event called Deep Dive Experience, the check-in time was long but at least the staff were friendly. The hall where they have the projection is big but I don’t see the appeal of watching art work projected on the walls. Feels like a ripoff off to be honest.

Went to the immersive Picasso experience and it was really cool! Really nice music as well. They let us come in later than our ticket was for since we couldn't make it on time which was really nice of them

The Lichthalle MAAG in Zurich is the first permanent museum for immersive art in Switzerland. We saw the exhibition about Gustav Klimt. We had a 360-degree experience through the life and works of the Austrian artist that was incredibly beautiful. An immersive way to discover art for yourself that is recommended to everyone!

Very disappointed with the immersive show dedicated to Picasso. Just pictures on the walls with music. No animation, no audio accompaniment, no story, no show. It's pathetic. Don't go, don't waste your time. Frida Kahlo and Monet were much better.

Don't miss this beautiful digital exhibition in MAAG Halle, which I'd higly recommend to everyone to go and enjoy the show. The Original paintings were given 3D effect that made them appear to have more stories behind them.

We went there after a walk on a cold, grey day. It's like colour-therapy. Such an immersive show! We enjoyed every second and walked out very happy!

It is a great visual experience, though for this price I would expect more. Positive things: it is beautiful, immersive, interesting visual effects. Space is barrier free, you can easily come with stroller or a wheelchair. There are different zones to enjoy: soft pillows to lay down, sits, kind of balcony and even some sofa to lay and enjoy some visual effects with mirrors. You can rent a headphones with translation to English or French (show itself us in German). Negative things: the room itself was not initially designed for such kind of show: there are some r even parts of walls, which destroy the projection on it. So not every view is good. What irritates me more - is different brightness of projections. The best and more sharp is only on the main floor, but there are a lot of things also on a side walls and columns in the hall, and columns have the most pale pictures. And this difference force your eyes to adjust to it and considering jumping focus from one wall to another it destroys part of enjoyment. At the same time show is arranged from the central wall, but if you want to enjoy the full picture and not a side look, you will lost the center of composition as it will be behind you and no mirror to see what is behind you. That causes sometimes stupid situation, when you look to the completely dark hall with the only picture just above your head, which you cannot properly see as it is too close and too high. But the good point: you can watch the show as long as you want, seeing it from different prospective. One circle is about 40 min with couple of min break in between. With have been already to 3 shows with small kids, and even they were attracted by lights and pictures. But not all shows are equally good, Frida Kahlo was one of the best, Monet was pretty average, and Klimt - relatively good. It is worth to see it, though there is a room for improvement.
