Beautiful little cultural City with medieval castle on top, also called the city of roses 🌹

Nice summer destination for a short visit after a boat trip on lake Zurich. Also very easy to reach by train. Restaurant to be recommended is the Jakob, but check opening times.

Great little town with fantastic view, good restaurants and convenient connections to Zurich by train and boats.

Magnificent old town, surrounded by the lake. Crystal clear air and an amazing feeling of freedom.

Beautiful... Serene... Not crowded! Great for a quiet walk, good for kids too...

Rapperswil was much more than what I expected. The views of Lake Zurich from above are stunning. The rose garden, beautiful architecture., beauty everywhere. It never ceased to delight us.. We had taken the tour along with Heidiland and Vadoz. A few of our group took the boat back to Zurich main city. I am sure that must have been some experience too. There is such a beautiful coordination of nature and made made /technology in Switzerland and the people . Helpful, friendly yet not intrusive. You just feel so safe, reassured there from everything.

Lovely town and when you get here i recommend you to try the old boat ride to either Richterswil or Wadenswil
