Stayed there after being out in the city of Rapperswil. 24h open Bar, and got tasty warm snacks (Flammkuchen), even at 5am. Friendly and accomodating staff.

Clean and neat rooms. No closet or mini bar (fridge), which is a bit inconvenience for longer stay. But it's very comfortable and nice. Bathroom is also following room comfort and design. Breakfast is always with plenty of choices and good taste. Hot beverages and fresh juices at dispense. Staff is nice, polite and always willing to assist. Free table football at the floor and TV in rooms gives some fun time if fittnes is not your type. There is a small gym room on the top which can be used at any time. Near is a large terrace with nice view on the train station and plain tops on the other side. Location is approx 10-15min of walking, from main Rapperswil train station and near a bus stop. Very accessible. I have enjoyed my week of staying in the hotel very much.

Cozy hotel in the heart of Rapperswill. Very close to Downtown with convenient garage parking underneath. The rooms are minimal, they cover the basics well but nothing more. The community spaces and staff are the areas where this hotel really shines. The community areas are great for sitting, relaxing, and hanging out with fellow travelers. It's definitely a low key and casual environment. It's where we spent the majority of our time in the evenings. There's a great selection of restaurants around the area within walking distance, a few even right across / down the street. The beer and wine selection, while not exhaustive, is certainly good with several local beers on tap. The staff was wonderful and welcoming. Mido was a delight to talk with in the evenings and gave us great advice for the Christmas markets in Zürich. Patricia was delightful and extremely welcoming to us! Everyone made us feel right at home!

Stayed overnight, amazing hotel and I totally recommend it. If I would come back in the area, this would be my first choice. No doubt.

I've just been there for the first time on a one night stay. Rooms: Small but very well laid out. Great shower, toilet with integrated high quality Bidet (Geberit). Comfortable bed, all is well. Only a tiny vertical window (like 10cm wide) to open, so if you're into jumping out of hotel room windows or dumping garbage on people below, this is not your ideal choice. Or, as is the case for me, if you often find hotel rooms too hot and want to cool your room down. The location is very central, which is great, but also means there's probably some noise. We were there on a random Monday night and I don't know who was hammering on what and why at 4 o'clock in the morning but it didn't help my beauty sleep. The hotel has a small underground car park for 30.-/night which seems very steep, but having said that they list an alternative 2 minutes away for 10.-/day on their own website so you can't accuse them of ripping you off either. You have the option to pay 30.- and not have to walk (and drag your luggage) for more than a few steps, so that's cool. Talking about cool: The Moxy is trying to be hip a little too hard. Everything about the place screams "hipster" with exposed wooden and metal elements, and every vertical surface is covered in inspirational quotes or quotes from mainstream artists and rock star. I swear to god, if the person designing the place had any personality and humor at all, you'll find a "live, love, laugh" quote somewhere on a wall if you wander around the place for long enough. Anyway, that didn't affect my stay negatively (in fact it was quite amusing), and the hotel itself was great. Two thumbs up.

Idealer Standort und mit öV oder zu Fuss schnell im Zentrum. Moderne, saubere Zimmer leider ohne Frigo und nur mit Klimaanlage kühlbar (keine öffnungsfähige Fenster). Frühstück (à 20 CHF pro Pers) und auch der hoteleigene Parkplatz (à 30 CHF pro Nacht) waren uns zu teuer. Freundlicher Service mit zwischendurch Wartezeiten, doch okay.

Sehr schönes modernes Hotel. Schöne Zimmer, super Aussicht. Sehr zentral, schöne Einrichtung alles da was man braucht. Vorallem ruhig das war sehr schön , obwohl es ausgebucht war.

Sehr modernes, sauberes und schön eingerichtetes Hotel. Coole Dachterrasse mit toller Aussicht. Die Hotelbar hat für Gäste durchgehend geöffnet. Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichhaltig und qualitativ hochwertig. Das Personal ist ebenfalls äusserst freundlich. Werde immer wieder gerne in das Hotel kommen, weiter so!

Wunderschönes Hotel, mit sehr moderner Ausstattung und super Lage. Nur ca. 10 Minuten Fußweg bis zum Wasser und das Personal ist auch sehr freundlich ✨ ich habe meinen Aufenthalt hier sehr genossen <3

I fresh new take for this US Marriott loyalist. Just plan for much less space than your two queen US variety of room. One suitcase, two backpacks will work fine. After all, we travel to stay young. Check out the ironing room. Pricelessly Swiss.

There were no cupboards !!! 😅 Was a new concept for me. The sofa converted to bed wasn’t great. But otherwise it was a great stay.

If you like to see more nature without going far, this hotel might be for you. It is a Marriott branded hotel situated in Rapperswil-Jona, which is an outstanding city to roam around for nature. This hotel does lack some features that other hotels would have (such as in-room dining or telephone), but as a person who doesn’t utilize these tools, it wasn’t a huge deal for me. Rooms were clean, and service was outstanding - the front desk staff was exceptionally friendly and outstanding. Speaking of Rapperswil-Jona, I had fun spending my time just seeing the scenery. I’d easily recommend people to stay in this city - more than Zürich! However, it’s not the best (but not the worst too!) if you want to explore around Switzerland, as you’d have to ride a train that takes 30-60 minutes to Zürich HB, a hub train station for the area. If that’s not a big deal for you, don’t spend too much money trying to stay at Zürich - stay at Rapperswil-Jona. Or here, in this hotel.

I really liked the modern architecture of the hotel. It reflects some young aspects. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast is good. The only thing that would make the stay better is having a fridge. Otherwise, everything was perfect.

I really liked the hotel! Cozy and warm wooden flooring in the rooms balance otherwise industrial "cold" design, space is smartly furnished. Bed and mattress comfy, everything is crispy clean. It is brand new hotel but you can't feel any VOC-like smells as sometimes happens in freshly decorated places. Breakfast area continues industrial feel with loft-high ceilings and street art-like murals. I enjoyed informal atmosphere, kids must like the place as well. Final plus points for fresh seasonal fruits and berries for breakfast.

The hotel is in a central location and has a very friendly staff. The room was great, very minimalistic (which I like) but had all the basics. The only thing that was missing in the room that I would have liked is a mini fridge, since I like to keep my own food there sometimes. The breakfast was very nice and there were plenty of vegan options. I also loved trying out the gym; the view from up there makes you want to go to the gym again and again...

Very cool hotel, with cool design. Rooms are clean and modern with comfortable bed. They have a gym on the 6ht floor with a huge balcony, but treadmill is definitely missing :( I had a drink at the Hotel Bar in the evening which is very youthful and colourful with great books around. Staff super helpful, also because i came with a bike and they let me to keep the bike indoors for the night. I will be back

Really fabulous hotel with wonderful staff. Expansive breakfast option that they call continental. Hot food and lots of cereals and fruit options as well as meats and cheeses and espresso drinks and juices. Rooms were spacious and great bathrooms and water pressure. Cleaning staff was meticulous. Only wish there were closets in the rooms - everything else perfect. Also great location!
