We had absolutely amazing time here. It was a rainy day and we could not do anything outdoor, so we ended up here and we were so glad it rained. :) Buy one ticket and you get unlimited arcade games, VR game and all the games for 2 hours. Since it was a slow day we were allowed to stay for 4+ hours. The hosts there were very friendly and have us some good game suggestions. Overall an amazing place.

A relatively small place, but a unique thing to see! Arcade games, pinball machines and video game consoles from tons of different eras. Fun and interesting to see, gives you a real sense of how far we've come! Swiss Travel Pass covers entry, too!

Really awesome place to spend a few hours reliving your (or someone else's) childhood playing retro video games, or having a beer while playing some board games. The staff were super welcoming and helpful in recommending some games to play in the café. You can really feel the love they put into the place. The history and notes throughout the museum were all translated in English as well. The QR codes posted for each game or machine were a nice touch, but the online descriptions were in German (as you'd expect).

Really nice to see all these equipments which have made history. I missed a few there but what they have is already very representative. The ladies who welcome you in the museum are very kind and understand what this means to senior people like me …

My 11 year old nephew says: "very, very cool!" An amazing selection of playable games from the history of games!

It was very fun to play with the older consoles. I liked the Car Racing Simulator and "The House of the Dead" the most. I really recommend testing them out, they were much fun. And after you played these old games you can enjoy your drink while playing some real fun board games.

This was a great way to relax. The interactive museum has all sorts of videogames, pinball machines (from over several decades), boardgames (around 600) and displays that are all able to be played for the cost of admission. Definitely worth the price and a good place to hang out.

Very fun place to visit even for adults. Cafe in the front where you can play board games and drink coffee, but in the back is the Play Museum, which is also very cool. Tons of games that you can play, from very old arcade games all the way up to cutting edge VR. Highly recommend a visit if you're looking for something to do! Such a fun little gem in Luzern. The history of the city is amazing, but the history of games is just as exciting!

A must-see for boardgame and videogame enthusiasts. The Gameorama offers over 600 boardgames, classic arcade videogames, pinball machines, and VR games. The cafe is freely accessible. The museum costs 18 CHF for adults, limited to two hours. As space is limited, reservations are recommend.

love this place! it was my 3rd visit and plan to come back! my kids love it too, they get lost playing the various games. I hope they find a larger venue in future and add more games to their wonderful collection!

It was so much fun!! Went on a weekday afternoon in December, it was free with the Swiss Travel pass. Wish we had more time to try all the games. Appreciated the staff with the big curls (sorry we didn’t get his name) teaching us some games. Some old games brought back childhood memories (crazy taxi , rampage!) and even games that my parents talked of about their childhood. Glad that we didn’t miss this!! Not many talks about this museum when visiting Lucerne, it’s should be added to the Must-go list!

We joined in on a game of Klask last night, and got to check out the museum. We really enjoying browsing the selection of board games. Thank you for inviting us in and teaching us how to play!!

Cool place to visit. It would be free with your luzern visitor pass. ^_^ we spent at least more than one hour here. I learned a lot about history of games. And played some of my childhood game here. During summer it’s pretty hot!

Amazing place, transporting you back to the youth times where computer games were everything. Great collection of gaming devices - old flippers, consoles, driving / shooting games, VR area. All you can play by just paying the entrance fee.

A decent digital diversion worthy of two hours time, but not much more. Highlights included some of the original PCs and some vintage arcade and pinball. Even some Swissness is included with a virtual farming Experience. We probably invested at least 20 minutes playing this game as it was a lot of fun driving through the Swiss country side with a tractor and a pick up truck. Needless to say, writing your own crop signs in a field can’t be done in real life so it was a lot of fun to try this on a big screen. Although this game museum tries to offer an eclectic mixture of games in an effort to be diverse, there are only a few games of each type and genre. Definitely enjoyed the flash from the past while playing asteroids and defender, but many other classic games were missing that one would expect to find in such a museum. Having visited much better museums, we found it somewhat lacking in comparison to others we had visited. As for the location, that’s one of the highlights, because parking is not far away and there’s much to do and see near the museum, so it might just be best as part of an overall sightseeing tour. CHF 19.00/hour is a bit steep for the selection on offer. All in all, a nice visit, just could be so much more.

Fantastic selection of games both in terms of styles and ages, with enough space to be able to enjoy them. The old console games brought back fond childhood memories. Also, highly recommend reserving some time to try the boardgames in the cafe area.

Game museum with playable games and Swiss pass is valid. The museum is boring? This will not bored you. There are lot of games from many eras that you can play and understand the game history. However, some game are not support english. The traveler who not speak the languages in Switzerland, may have to use some gamer senses to play it lol.

Great people working here. They helped us fund amazing games to take home with us. They were very knowledgeable, even about the manufacturers of the Swiss games. Highly recommend a visit. Fun game time in the back for the family.
