You buy the boat ride tickets right here. You can choose the pink ride 30 minutes with audio guide, the blue ride 15 minutes, the yellow ride 30 minutes where you can stop and go up to the rock in the middle of the waterfall. The yellow boat is the busiest and there’s only one line to get up to the top of the rock.

We booked the tour #1 (the one with a 20 minute layover on the rock in the middle of the fall) and the #4 with a 15 minutes tour of the fall, with 2 close approaches. Both of them were excellent, definitely you should take at least one of them if you want to see the fall from a close distance. The force and the sound of the water as you are so close to it is incredible. Great experience, we enjoyed to the fullest!

Took a boat ride with Rhyfall Mändli - Schifffahrt am Rheinfall to experience Rheinfall up close in early April 2023. I took the blue line (number 4) boat ride. The boat ride was 15 minutes. Friendly, professional staff. Tickets can be bought online or on-site. Fun experience!

We paid 40 CHF for each person. It was a yellow boat trip to the Rheinfall Rock which we climbed for an awesome view. Ensure you take the earliest slot because it gets really crowded at the rock and there are long queues both to board the boats and climb the rock.

We payed €40 for two persons on the 30min yellow boat trip up to the Rhyfalls, where you get off and climb the steps to a viewing point of the falls from above. Great experience. Always good to remember a rain coat, best to sit at the front of the boat to get off early for the view point otherwise your queuing to climb the steps.

Great ride to view the waterfall. We took the pink ride, which takes 40 minutes and first goes towards Germany and then it will go really close to the waterfall a few times. There is a small risk of getting wet, but that is part of the fun (also because others got wet, not us ;) )

Absolutely incredible trips and the fares were surprisingly cheap! The staff was very friendly too and the audio tour was available in many languages. I wasn't planning on doing any of those tours when I went to Rheinfall but it was definitely worth it.

Highly recommended when visiting Rhine Falls. There are different boat lines and tour durations. We took the blue line which was 15 mins tour, takes you close to the falls a couple of times. 7CHF per adult. You can get wet if you want. Tip: If you want to get wet or close to falls, stand at the front of the boat where they have steps. Stay there. Boat goes into falls (when its the closest) head on so front of the boat is where you want to be!

A very touristy and amazing place to visit. There are many car parks nearby with live space info. The place has regular boats to travel near the falls with spectacular views. We found a very nice Indian snacks corner right outside the ticket entrance that has veg samosas. Don't forget to go to nearby small town of stein am Rhein too, marvelous old Town on the banks of Rhein.
