It's a hike to get to from the Piazza but well worth the views from the lake facing rooms. Comfortable and clean. Enjoyed the pool and spa amenities. Service was helpful and friendly. There is a dedicated funicular Hotel Belvedere stop to get down or up the hill if you choose not to walk the steep hill. A short funicular ride to the top and you are at the sanctuary of Madonna del Sasso, showcasing beautiful views for this popular historical point of interest. Quiet location.

Wir haben hier einen wunderschönen Urlaub verbracht....ein tolles sauberes Zimmer mit mega Ausblick auf den See(Zimmer 309)...jeden Tag ein Frühstück auf der Terrasse genossen....Abends ein phänomenales 4-Gänge Menue serviert bekommen...eine tolle Anlage, Athmosphäre, Pool.....einfach alles nur mega mega!!!!!!!! Hervorzuheben ist auch die Freundlichkeit der Angestellten im Restaurant...immer ein Lächeln im Gesicht uns wurde jeder Wunsch sofort erfüllt!!! Wir kommen nächstes Jahr wieder und freuen uns jetzt schon darauf😊😊

Sehr schönes gepflegtes Hotel! Unsere Zimmer waren im neuen Anbau des Hotels. Wunderschöne grosse Zimmer mit einer fantastischen Aussicht! Super Lage des Hotels, unterhalb von der beeindruckenden Sehenswürdigkeit der Madonna del Sasso gelegen. 👌 Sehr freundliches zuvorkommendes Personal! Schönes neues Restaurant mit moderner stylischer Einrichtung. Mega schöne Bar mit coolem Barkeeper! Einzig der Wellnessbereich dürfte etwas grösser sein. Jedoch hat es draussen eine wunderschöne Liegewiese. Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert!

Der Urlaub im Belverdere war sehr schön. Die Zimmer waren tip top. Das La Fontana war fantastisch. Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und grosse auswahl. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Der Spa Bereich war der Pool um diese Jahreszeit ende September persönlich etwas zu kalt für uns. Die Sauna/Dampfbad und Massagen waren sehr erholsam. In den Duschen im Spa kam leider kaltes Wasser und sind renovations bedürftigt.

The hotel manager and all the staff did everything in their power to make our stay an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this place it is great to rest but also has the proper infrastructure to enjoy badminton, play table tennis, have a drink at the outside bar, have a relaxing massage or enjoy a swim in the pool. The food and drinks are reasonably priced and delicious.

Nice Hotel with a beautiful view once on level 2. Good restaurant with friendly Staff. Also suitable for Vegans at both Breakfast and Dinner (be sure to let them know beforehand). They also rent E-Bikes and have a secured Bike Storage Room to bring your own bikes.

Amazing. I came on business for 3 nights. Dined in town and at Lagan. The hotel restaurant is amazing… let’s start with the service A+++, food A+++, ambience A+++. I live in London and am used to fine food and service, this is on another level. The rooms are large and have everything’s by you need. The gym is okay and the swimming pool is something to behold, you swim indoors and through a curtain outdoors. It was raining when I took a swim and it was amazing. The staff are very professional, nothing is a problem.

Perfect location. Rooms are clean and also pet friendly. Staff is very kind and helpful. We got lucky for live music which we enjoyed and atmosphere was gorgeous. Till next time

Swankly location up on the hill with great facilities, we didn’t stay here but attended a few meetings during Locarno Film Festival.

Wonderful property with spectacular views. Beautiful grounds with many different areas to relax and enjoy a beverage, a game of yard chess, or a chat with friends and family. Wonderful location easily accessible by Funicular! They boast a wonderful restaurant called La Fontana. The food was delicious and the view magnificent!

Excellent hotel, good location especially if traveling by car. Not close to the lake but easily walkable. We stayed in one of the suites in the newer building, it was specious, modern and well equipped. Our suite had a big balcony with stunning view of the lake. Breakfast service was good, lots of healthy options and warm station. However some of the staff looked a little stressed. Negatives - pillows too soft. Pool and spa area were just ok.

An excellent hotel which I definitely recommend. Rooms are spacious and have a lot of amenities. The pool and spa area is awesome as well. Dinner was very good, but the staff could‘ve been better, especially in the evening when they took their time for our drinks. Otherwise all good!

We arrived at night after a bad experience with another hotel, the receptionist Melina was very kind and professional .she arranged everything that we needed ,very quickly( for us, our kid and the dog..). The room is big and comfortable, great terrace with a beautiful view. Breakfast was excellent, we enjoyed it at the garden. Highly recommended !
