Most delicious pastrami sandwich I have ever had along with the most warm service one could ever receive. A must try in this beautiful town. Thank you for a delicious sandwich, warm soup and a cold beer on a cold day.

It seems like a family owned shop and the couple were so sweet and attentive. They explained to us the ingredients of each sandwich (with fluent english) which was really nice of them. The sandwiches were SO GOOD. We got the tuna melt and cheese fondue sandwich, they were both so tasty and fulfilling. We also had the cauliflower soup which was delicious. Overall definitely recommend, nice atmosphere, great service, and really good food.

Delicious food, cordiality, quality...! Everything positive you can think about a place, well, you will find at El Paso! I had my first Pastrami sandwich here and it was truly amazing!! The Broccoli soup then....super tasting! I could list Everything I tasted but the result will be the same: Everything was truly good. The place is very clean and the owners are super friendly and welcoming!!. Can't wait to came back to Zurich! I will come back for sure!!

I‘m there once a week, so good. They assemble new sandwich toppings every day and both vegetarian and meat options are equally good. It’s freshly toasted and comes with a daily soup. Full meal for 13.50. That‘s very rare in Zurich.

By far the best sandwiches in the area! original and healthy with a special touch. The combo with the soup is the perfect meal for an office day. Great prices as well, totally recommendable

The sandwiches are great and the man that presents them to you very nice. However, the lady in service is not very polite. She pushed me to get in the straight line, and in general you feel she is very stressed by the people. As a customer I did not feel valued by her.

Hands down, we had the best pastrami sandwich at Al Paso(We ate it before we could take a photo!) And their sandwich with ham, cheese, and carrots were delicious. Al Paso uses fresh local seasonal ingredients for their food. The owners were very friendly and kind!! We experienced amazing Swiss hospitality. Make sure to take a cute picture in front of the restaurant.

Simply superb. The potato and Leak soup was so tasty and the liver , carrot , sauerkraut sandwich was to die for. What a lucky find ! Gregor the owner was so hospitable and welcoming …. Yum yum yum

I had a great experience here. The two owners are very friendly and warm and the sandwiches and soups were outstanding! For Zurich, it's definitely a very good value, particularly the lunch combo which gets you a soup and sandwich for 13 chf. I went back here twice in a row, the menu changes daily except for a few classic sandwiches. I tried five different sandwiches with my wife and every one was piping hot and packed with flavor! Highly recommend.

Amazing sandwiches, we loved the turkey and ham ones. Accommodating couple with excellent English. Affordable for Zurich and very lovely people!

The food was excellent and the owners were wonderful! I had the leek and potatoe soup with a fondue sandwich and was in heaven! My husband had a yummy Reuben sandwich that melted in your mouth. Eating outside on the street was also fun. But the best part was the conversation with the owners. Super-friendly and helpful (especially since our German was a bit lacking). Will definitely go back when in the area!

Best pastrami sandwich we’ve ever had! And equally as amazing was the nicest most helpful couple who made the food and served us. Wishing Al Paso was closer to home and can’t wait to come back to Zurich.
