Mixed feeling about it. I was initially very impressed with the online booking as well as the check for eligibility. However, when the first consultant says there is “no risk” and says many mistakes this, I get very suspicious. Ofc there is risk with every thing, specially with this where a short Google search shows example of it becoming worse after the treatment. Small risks maybe but still risk. Also after the initial the pre-assessment the same consultant with the no risk comment get a bit pushy to upswell the warranty. And couldn’t really give me a reply to why that was needed if there was no risk. Fortunately for me the iPad showing the treatment agreement didn’t work so had to chance to read it at home - and there you see all the disclaimers like “ I am aware that the doctor acts to the best of his knowledge and will, but cannot guarantee success” Again, all fine with risk but be transparent about and not push people to make decisions on the spot. In the end it is a medical intervention to your eyes. So read everything at home before signing anything.

uncomplicated and competent preliminary examinations. Treatment is quick and painless. The eyes are a bit sensitive for the first 4 hours after the treatment, but with the eye drops it is very bearable. The treatment was on Friday, on Saturday I woke up and could see every leaf on the tree! absolutely fantastic 🤩

Die Praxis ist sehr zu empfehlen. Die Mitarbeiter*innen sind professionell und herzlich und ich habe mich sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt. When I decided that I want to do the laser eye surgery, I read lots of reviews on Google. I am 1 week post op, so now it’s time to write my opinion. The betterview Basel team was great. As a non-speaking German person, they spoke to me in English, explain me everything, plan our check ins, the surgery, post op check ins, payment plan super clear. The surgery itself was fast, I did it on Friday and next Monday I was at work as normal, I work in front of the computer 8h and I manage to do everything as usual. Overall I am happy with this decision and I do recommend betterview clinic.

The support from the staff was very good, everyone was very friendly, courteous and helpful. I had a competent initial consultation. The other consultations and controls were carried out very quickly and accurately. The treatment by Dr. Winter was very professional and I felt safe because the doctor and the team accompanied me step by step. After the laser, my friend picked me up. The sunglasses help!! Take one with you. If you stick to what the staff says everything will be fine. I actually had my eyes closed most of the time on the day of treatment and my sunglasses on. When the anesthesia stops, it becomes very unpleasant (no pain) but they give you the anesthetic eye drops again --> add a headache tablet and everything will be fine ;) REALLY!! I see clearly and well, takes time. The clinic in Basel can be easily reached by public transport, tram 11.

I had my eyes lasered in August. Everything went well. The treatment was uncomfortable but not painful. I also received good advice and only dealt with friendly staff at all appointments (preliminary examinations, follow-up examinations). I can only recommend the Basel team.

Very good 👍 Had my surgery in January 2024. No problems I can only recommend it to everyone. Lasering is easy Just preparing where pressure was building up around the eye scared me. The second time I looked it was easy because I knew what was coming. Supper checked again Even called several times to ask if I was okay

From the initial consultation to the follow-up check, everything was very serious, friendly and uncomplicated. The employees are very competent and friendly. The treatment itself is short and painless, and the result with full vision is visible quickly after the procedure. I would do the laser eye treatment again at any time and can 100% recommend better view as a whole concept.
