If you are into Syrian cuisine, and Arab cuisine in general, you have to visit Sham. The food is excellent and authentic. The staff is competent, very friendly and attentive in making their customers happy. In restaurants, I rarely read menus. I always ask the staff for recommendations. The dishes the team served were delicious and beautifully presented. The dessert and the white wine were exquisite too. The ambiance of the restaurant is welcoming and charming. It was an amazing experience and I can't wait to return. I highly recommend Sham! Thank you very much to the team.

This is such a fantastic restaurant! It’s a very comfortable place with outstanding food. It’s a very short walk from the Marriott, which is where I was staying. The presentation of the food was also so beautiful. The staff were really sweet.

Very nice restaurant for middle eastern food. We ordered the vegetarian platter and really liked it. Service and ambience were also great.

Nice Syrian restaurant close to the main station. Beautiful presentation, decent taste and friendly service. Particularly enjoyed the meat skewers with standouts being the chicken and steak ones. Muttabal and muhammara were also delicious. Was not so fond of the falafel or the minced meat skewer however.

Delicious Syrian food in a tasteful restaurant next to Zurich's main station. The shawarma and sides were really good, but the desert was definitely our favourite. There are not so many seats, so we were lucky to have booked in advance despite being Monday. Prices slightly above other Eastern Mediterranean restaurants, but so is the quality. Overall a good experience.

We have not been to many middle eastern restaurants outside of what is available here in the San Francisco bay area. This is the best Syrian/Middle-Eastern food we have ever had. We are so glad to have found this place when we were in Zurich a few weeks back (5 mins walk from the Zurich main train station). The quality of the food, presentation, and service received were exceptional. We landed up going to this place two days in a row for dinner.

I went there with my 2 daughters last month, we ordered sham for 2 and some grilled meat. Food was excellent and desert rice pudding was absolutely amazing, we loved it. Service guy was super nice!^^, very good impression of this restaurant. We definitely will go back again

Had an amazing dinner with friends here! Everything was absolutely delicious, portions were very generous and service super friendly. We had the Sham platter and the vegetarian platter to share. We were seated outside, but the restaurant also looked nice inside. Toilets were very clean. Cannot recommend enough and will be back for sure!

Oh, this place became one of my favourite restaurants in Switzerland. The staff are so kind and the food is simply fantastic! They offer many vegan/vegetarian options. The place is very cosy and beautiful. I definitely recommend booking in advance. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

So delicious and great quality of food! We loved the kitchen there-everything fresh, fast, service is great 👍🏼 Portions are big. Very hospitable owner as well) Beef skewers highly recommend 👌🏼 And if you like to try some new tastes - dates lemonade is good and desert with rose water.

Syrian food (very similar to Lebanese if you want a reference although some dishes are different). The main thing about this place is that the food is really expertely cooked. The humus is excellent the meat is very well marinated and grilled to the absolute right point. Everything is very, very perfectly cooked. Will definitely come back.

We have been regulars at Sham Restaurant for years. Always top quality and excellent service. Takeaway is also really good: I especially appreciate the high quality containers.

pros: Falafel and pastries were very nice, served immediately cons: waited 30 min for a watered down lentil soup. Grilled meat was served cold and dry They are understaffed. Avoid rush hours and order vegetarian, then it is quite good.
