The birds are kept in cages where they cannot fly. They are kept imprisoned there without any activity, not even staff to keep them busy, they just sit there. Sad to see something like this in a developed country in 2021

The birds were fascinating. The scenery was unbelievable. The little restaurant served a great lunch.

Small bird park with about 12 enclosures. Some beautiful local species in well kept but small enclosures. It's free and easily combined with the stunning Ischboden Hütte next door.

The bird park was very nice to see all types of birds that live in the Swiss Alps. About a 30 minute walk from Hotel Wetterhorn, and a 20 minute walk back, it lays well accessible also by the bus. It is quite a small park with some nicely setup aviaries for the 8 species of birds they keep there. Next to every aviary there is information about the bird, only in German. It is worth it to check out this small but nice park, and visit the Ischboden hut next to it after.

Wirklich sehr schön und eine tolle Sache. Es leben behinderte Tiere oder Tiere hier, die einen Unfall hatten und in der Wildnis nicht mehr überleben würden. Die paar gehminuten zum Vogelpark lohnen sich! Mann kann einen auch ein paar Münzli in die Spendenkasse werfen. Die Vögel werden es einem danken! TOLLE SACHE!

A lot of amazing birds, but at the same time I questioned if the cages are big enough

Sehr gut aber zur Zeit wenig Vögel habe mehr erwartet!

Super herzig. Leicht zu erreichen über Wanderwege verschiedenen Schweregrades ab Oberen Gletscher oder per Postauto.

Beeindruckende Vögel, die aber alle ein Handicap haben und nicht in der Freiheit überleben würden.

Wonderful but very small display of birds. Birds appear to be well cared for and pens were in good condition.

1 star because there is no 0. The only place is Switzerland that disappointed me! Why to keep all those beautiful birds in cages? Idiotic and selfish.
