Excellent experience in an outstanding place. Nice, warm atmosphere: the owner welcomed us with a smile and we felt immediately comfortable. Excellent service: friendly, professional, efficient. The attention to detail is impressive. The food is exquisite. We had beef broth, a lovely winter salad, Sunday roast, Zurich Geschnetzeltes, Zabaione, Apple tart: everything delicious. The kids menu is also great. And the reservation system is perfect: booking a table is very easy and quick. I highly recommend Rössli Illnau.

Great location, fine food, nice people & service

Nice town restaurant with very good food and a wide wine selection. Wild season is great! Kind staff, nice portions, super clean toilets. There is also a "Kegelbahn" (game similar to bowling). Different sized rooms make it a good place for different events.

We were treated to a great wild dinner. The service was very friendly and attentive. The food was wonderful. I would recommend this exceptionally good restaurant to anyone who values a cozy atmosphere and a high-quality cuisine.

Lovely venue with many amenities (separate dining rooms, concert hall, bowling alley). The decor is somewhat dated but still charming. Very good cooking but on the pricier side. Definitely expect 100 CHF per person, more if you're into wine.

From service, to food, to the atmosphere - everything is very well optimized and I can only recommend eating here. A special recommendation for: the appetizer 'Duck liver' and for the main course 'Deer Filet/Back'.
