We went to the restaurant for food. Food was decent but server was very rude. When we asked for a recommendation on dessert the guy had the audacity to say “ again same question. Why do people from your country ask the same question. If you read the menu maybe you will learn a little more from there. “ He basically judged us on our country which was racist and then when asked if he can take a picture he said “ Sorry im not a photographer. You can take a picture at that spot but im not a photographer. I have work to do “ Wonder what made him give this customer service in such a wonderful country where people are known to be very nice and courteous. We talked to the manager ( i think her name was Magda ) and explained the whole situation. She apologized . Very disappointed with the experience. 3 star for food and -1 for the service .

Very reasonably priced to have cheese fondue in Gstaad. Not a fancy restaurant but it's at the beginning of the village and when it's snowing a lot I love the drive from Bern there through the Simmental Valley. It's very picturesque in Winter. l

Mir ist es selten so leicht gefallen eine Bewertung anzugeben. Glatte 5 in allen Belangen, Personal super freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Lage direkt an der Fußgängerzone, Auto kann stehen bleiben, alles mit Bus oder Bahn erkundet, Essen hervorragend, Zimmer sehr geräumig und sauber. Kurzum, wir fühlten uns Sauwohl

Wir waren 3 Nächte mit Halbpension in diesem sehr schön hergerichtete Hotel. Alles war ausgezeichnet Zimmer, Essen, Personal, Lage. Von uns bekommen sie 5 Sterne. Wir kommen wieder und ich kann nur empfehlen. Mit Gstaad Card haben wir auch tolle Ausflüge gemacht bei herrlichem Wetter Dank inkludirte Öffentlichen Bus/Zug, ohne unsere Auto . 🙂 Grüße von Österreich

Went to the open day. Showed around the hotel. Then had Apero with selection of local meat,cheese dishes... Returning this week for a special dinner😊

Good Food! It’s a very nice location, so after you eat you can go shopping without walking to much:)

Highly recommended. The best veal cutlet with rösti I have ever eaten. Very attentive staff and relatively high but fair prices for this quality.

I was there last Monday and I only ate in the restaurant with a friend. I was happy to be back after a long time. Nothing has changed. Also with the new Chef,after the retirement of the old Chef, the food still fantastic, supported from a very efficient service. The good Nebbiolo bottle helped us to finish our lunch with a good memory.

Excellent food very nice cozy atmosphere and reasonably priced for Gstaad

This is a prime example of a cozy boutique hotel! The reception staff was excellent and incredibly welcoming, the breakfast was tasty and the rooms were fantastic! I have lived in Switzerland for 12 years and this is by far the best cheese fondue I've tried! The hotel is well located in the middle of the village with access to everything around! Zimmer kann ich nicht bewerten, da ich im Hotel nicht übernachtet habe. Von mir ein grosses Bravo 👏🏼 hier ist der Gast willkommen, an Freundlichkeit wird nicht gespart, wie auch auf der Rösti an Käse nicht. Vom Service über Qualität, Präsentation beim Essen fehlt hier überhaupt nichts. Ich bin nicht das erste mal hier und auch nicht dass letzte Mal. Gäbe es ****** Sterne, würde ich die vergeben.

Der Aprikosenkuchen ist super gut! Freundliche Bedienung. Gerne wieder.

Great place with kind friends staff . The food is plain excellent. The atmosphere familial , and very cosy. Interiors are mostly in wood . Prices are normal.

This is a wonderful restaurant and I have dined there many times, but sadly they are unreliable when it comes to when they will serve at lunchtime. The main lunch menu is meant to run until 14:00. We drove through a snow storm to dine with them and once we were seated, at 13:45, we were told that only the small card would be served. If you are gluten free the main menu has many wonderful options, but the small card does not, so all in all it was disappointing and I ended up having a mixed salad on a very cold winter day with the snow driving down outside. The soup option was beetroot, which is a very acquired taste. In summary, don’t dine here for lunch unless you are prepared to arrive between 12 and 1pm. That seems to be the realistic window.
