Anna was the most amazing host. The two service there were very nice as well such as Alexandra. We had the most amazing time. It’s a secluded little town so don’t expect it to be very lively or busy. It was the perfect time spent with my spouse as a newly married couple in the beautiful scenic mountains and creating special memories. The restaurant had amazing food and it was so convenient and fun to be able to go from our room to the restaurant vice versa. We would definitely come back!

Brilliant cosy place to stay. Anna and her team go beyond the call of duty. Very accommodating and welcoming staff throughout the day and night. Been to Swiss quite a few times, and generally find it welcoming but I must say the team at Gadmer are another level. Anna and her staff would put the extra personal touch and effort in to everything. Too many details to mention. The building is nice and fresh, the family rooms are great. Drove all the way from London, and the pleasant welcome made us feel so relaxed. Very flexible with everything and breakfast. Beautiful scenic views from all angles.

We went with 6 friends to the Gadmer Lodge and the stay was great. The lodge owner even organised some klettersteig sets for us when we asked if we could rent them somewhere. The staff is very friendly. We really enjoyed our stay.

These guys here are Fantastic!! Especially Anna she was brilliant!! I had a tyre puncture in my car just up the road and being from England really was in a struggle to get a tyre on a Saturday evening!!!! But with the help of the lovely people at Gadmer Lodge they were able to give me details for the appropriate recovery and tyre repair people and I was on the road again by Sunday morning. I cannot stress enough how helpful everyone was here at Gadmer Lodge. Will stop here again if I’m ever driving the Susten in the future!!!!

I stopped for an aperitif and snack while driving through - the meat & cheese platter was so good I wished I could stay for a proper meal! The staff was friendly and super accommodating (Alexandra, thank you!). If you find yourself in the area don’t miss it.

A stunner in the middle of wilderness! If you could choose, try going when snow has appeared. Looks like winter wonderland. Reaching the hotel is advisable via your own car. Public transport is available but may take a while to reach. Tip: Carry water/snacks from Coop at Meriengen (short stop before going forward to Gadmen). The lodge experience is truly calming. Anna at the reception and the rest of the staff are a delight. They would go lengths to make your stay comfortable. We had booked for 8 people but the other family became sick hence only our familiy of 4 reached the lodge. Anna updgraed us to a large room for 4. Room was quite spacious with a splending mountain view. The whole village was covered under snow and the peace of the Alps was all encompassing. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves in the snow. The dinner at the restaurant was quite good. We had Rosti, Alpiner pasta and chicken wings with fries (finger licking fries). It is recommended that you do have the dinner at the lodge. We would surely want to come back. Thanks Anna for making our stay a delight.
