Plenty of food and drink to be had here. Not tried the camp site. It is set in the corner of a large car park which is a great parking area when you want to go for a walk. You also have to pay to exit the car park and the price is based on the time you have stayed. The most I have payed is 6CHF for about 6 hours. The cafe is basic and there is no indoor seating but there are some large umbrellas to sit under if it is raining or to shade from the sun. Great views as well and the beer or an ice cream is a great reward after a walk. The walks from the car park are excellent. Head up the valley to the Grundsee lake. It is a well marked and maintained path and not too steep. Once there the valley is much flatter until you get further up when the are some steeper places but not too steep. The head of the valley is the glacier which you can get right up to but is about a 4 mile walk. The path has changed recently due to the danger of falling rocks from the side of the hills where the glacier used to be but it has retreated over the years. Well worth a walk in this area.

Just passing through after a hike. Did not camp here. Very cute gastro. Ideal seating. View and surrounding is awesome. Well maintained and child friendly place.

Absolutely beautiful location. Could do with a little more privacy in the one shower and toilet per M/F. Quite a few flies during the day as there are livestock close by, but you’re able to light a campfire which helps to keep them away.

Very expensive camping for the facilities provided, which include a shed with one toilet and one urinal. The single shower runs out of hot water after the morning, perhaps they turn off the hot water for the afternoon and evening to save themselves more money? However, the location is lovely and the staff were friendly.

Very simple WC/shower. No shadow (i.e. No trees). Great surroundings views. Nice coffee / snack-bar. Restaurant in Hotel nearby. Really beautiful and easy walking tracks nearby.

I set 2 stars by mistake. This place is really great. Apologies for the inconvenience. I really had a great experience at this camping.
