This place is amazing!!! The view from the terrace is absolutely stunning, the staff is lovely and kind, and the food was delicious! They even have vegan options on the menu and rice milk. Highly recommend!!

I came here on a multi-day motorcycle trip in late June 2020. I stayed here after spending the whole day riding the passes Southeast of here. The view is absolutely stunning. The food here is great, the restaurant has a nice casual atmosphere that I appreciated. The staff is utterly professional. Very memorable, I recommend this location to my friends. The road leading up to this hotel is somewhat narrow, not that I had an issue since I was on a motorcycle, but it's something to be aware of.

Very nice place. I was just there for a training: the environment is stunning ( there is also a suspended bridge 1.5km away) the hotel is nice and clean. The people working there are very warm and helpful. They try to make you feel comfortable in every possible way. There is a mini golf, a play area for kids and some chairs to get a sunbath. The all atmosphere is very relaxed. Food is good and they always ask you if you want to have more. It is good even just to go there and re-charge your batteries!

Stopped mid morning for coffee and cake. Delicious. Sat outside, great weather, great views. Friendly and efficient service. Plenty of parking up front.

This Hotel never fails me, I haven't stayed here for over 17 years and it has one of the loveliest views of the Thunersee, no wonder there was a wedding reception here on the Saturday night that we stayed. We ate all our meals here (except lunch) and they were scrumptious with a great many selections. Yes we'll be back!

Breath-taking views from the outside terrace. Inside, the restaurant is simple, but so charming. Good service, delicious food, especially the carrot soup with ginger, just amazing. The menu of the day is a great value for money and very tasty.

The Hotel Meielisalp staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and clearly care a lot about this place! The hotel has a very homey feel with a cozy Swiss chalet aesthetic. I especially appreciate how accommodating the staff were during my stay: - I arrived before check in time, but they allowed me to leave my luggage at the hotel. - After arriving, I asked if the hotel shuttle could take me to Interlaken West, which I needed to get to ASAP in order to get to Habkern on time. One of the staff members immediately said “yes, let’s go!” and took me to Interlaken with the hotel shuttle. I honestly did not expect that the staff would agree to take me all the way to Interlaken given that I was 1 person and the shuttle is meant to transport 6 or more people, even with such short notice, and yet they did! - I did not arrive back at the hotel to check in until after 8pm, and yet one of the staff members waited at the hotel so I could complete check in, even though it was extremely late in the day. - On the day of check in, when returning to the hotel at the end of the day, I arrived in Leissigen by bus, but I did not want to walk another 40 minutes from Leissigen to the hotel. I called the hotel ~30 minutes before arriving in Leissigen to see if they would pick me up from Leissigen with the shuttle. Once again, the staff were quite accommodating and willing to transport me with the hotel shuttle on a short notice! The work that the staff put in to maintaining the hotel is palpable, and their willingness to accommodate my specific situation on the day of check in was extremely kind. I will definitely stay here again!

Went here for a conference. The hotel is really nice, feels a bit stuck in time but in a good way because it never really felt "old". The rooms are nice and comfortable.
