Historic hotel rebuilt in 2014 after being destroyed by a land slide in 2000. Rooms are very nice, restaurant is really good with a variety of dishes really well prepared. There's a water fall just in front and another one really high on the side. You must visit this amazing place, have dinner here and stop for the night. Highly recommended.

Patric & Fabienne are great hosts and have a lot to tell about the historical building. Our new years eve menu was a fantastic experience! We'll definitely come back again.

Thanks to Patrick for the rescue where our car got stranded in Simplon slope as I couldn’t drive further as the car is without winter tyre. I cancel our Interlaken stay and put a night at Patrick hotel without any expectation. When Patrick fetched my wife and myself to the hotel , I am amazed by the hotel design and the dinner - great food and wine. We stayed in this hotel, the rooms were very clean, we had dinner in the restaurant and the food was excellent, we recommend the tagliolini al ragù, the meat was delicious, and the dessert was good and presented very well, the staff was very kind

We've been to the restaurant a couple of times but never stayed at the hotel. . The food served was always of high quality however since the restaurant has changed hands it has improved for the better. The new owners cuisine is simply a delight - so scrumptious and classy. Lovely location and the courteous and multilingual host will make your visit enjoyable.

We’d stumbled on this hotel and restaurant by chance. It is so lovely and unique. The hotel itself is a old building from 17th century with good wine cellar. The couple that runs the place are so lovely. They are so warm and welcoming, makes us feel like family. There were no menu, so we relies their recommendation for wines and food. The wife is the chef and she made a truly amazing dishes. Great tasting and refreshing salads and appetizers, tantilizing main courses. The wines are excellent and very reasonable. We got great view of the moutain and the stream below. Such an amazing experience. We yearns to repeat. Too bad we could not spend a night or two there, this time. Next time I will certainly be staying at this place.

At the weekend we took advantage of the special offer of the Hotel-restaurant Stockalperturm in Gondo (right on the border of Switzerland and Italy) Accommodation for one night, apéro with wine tasting in the hotel cellar, including dinner and breakfast for the price of CHF 190.- for two people. Parking is available in the nearby underground garage for a manageable fee. The hotel has large rooms for up to 20 people as well as double or family rooms. The smaller rooms face the waterfall, which makes for a wonderful nighttime spectacle as it is illuminated by color-changing light. On the other hand, its noise level affects the quality of sleep of sensitive persons. The Reis room was not equipped with a television, but free wifi is a given. The large kingsize bed with a firmer mattress was perfectly adequate. The walls in the hotel are very thick so you can't hear anything from the adjoining rooms. The apéro in the basement was a treat for both the eye and the taste buds. Staff very friendly and helpful, continental breakfast. (Cold Buffet) Definitely recommend to try!

What was supposed to be a random stop on the way home became a highlight of our week long trip! Wonderful hosts, amazing food and a stunning location. Can't recommend highly enough!! Loved it and will always stay when we are going past.
