Amazing views of the nature around you, all the peaks and alpine landscapes. The place is very accessible by car, you can park at the Gantrishhutte and from there itself a short walk and a climb up the hill. Great for kids. The place is also perfect for a picnic but I don’t think there’s a fireplace area. Do be careful with dogs however, the lake water doesn’t move much, and I don’t know how risky it is in terms of cyanobacteria. Please do research before getting dogs in the water.

C'est juste magique à voir plusieurs fois dans une vie. Vraiment merveilleux avec des couleurs incroyables ! Lac de montagne d'une beauté extraordinaire.

One of the nicest little puddles in the most beautiful scenery of Gantrisch region. Get up there in a short walk, also easily walkable for kids. For those liking cold water, it is a great swim. You can pic-nic or barbeque in the designated areas (no tables). Please keep nature clean and take your garbage down when you leave.

Wunderschöner Ort um die Natur zu geniessen, grillieren oder sich nach einer Wanderung abzukühlen. Gut zu Fuss in einer halben Stunde vom Parkplatz erreichbar.

Irréel de beauté, la randonnée courte dure environ 1h si on ne s’arrête pas toutes les 2mins comme moi pour faire des photos… le paysage change avec la lumière couchante, les cloches des vaches résonnent dans toute la montagne. La descente est rude et il faut passer par une maison habitée et gardée par des chiens mais visiblement les habitants ont l’habitude… Le Gantrish est vraiment une très belle région !
