Despite some initial reservations, this hotel exceeded all expectations, providing an absolutely fabulous experience! From the well-appointed rooms to the exceptional, friendly staff, there's hardly anything else I could ask for. While the pool isn't particularly large, it's such an enjoyable feature that our child eagerly anticipated a swim first thing in the morning. The on-site restaurant also serves delicious meals. We will definitely be returning!

My room was surprisingly large and roomy. The in-room services included a menu(!) of pillows you have have brought into your room, a mini-fridge full of drinks, a coffee machine, and a really great bathtub. Daily breakfast is included in the stay and is an amazing selection of food that will keep you fed until dinner. It includes cold cuts, cheeses, eggs, breads, muesli, yogurts, cereals, coffees (including espresso-style drinks), juices and the like. The hotel has a lot of activities that you can sign up for that are include in your stay (and a few activities that cost extra). I went mushroom picking with one other guest and the hotel general manager as our guide. He was very friendly and hospitable. Great guy overall. The hotel then made a risotto out of our picked mushrooms as well as jarring some for taking home. The hotel has an alright bike storage and a pretty solid bike wash station for those that come for the biking. Bike rentals are also available if you need it. Prices for the restaurant for dinner aren't cheap but the food is amazing. I would gladly book the hotel again if I were to come back to the area.

One of the nicest hotel, I was one week in December 2021 there. Very friendly stuff. They help you if you have any questions or issues. Nice Spa specially the swimming pool. It’s actually more a huge jacuzzi. The restaurant, bar and their food and cocktails are very nice. Highly recommend. It’s very central. The have a nice parking with the cover access to the hotel, very practical in cold weathers.

Excellent weeklong stay at the hotel for skiing. The hotel itself and facilities are very well designed – comfortable lobby, excellent spa (2x saunas, 1 steam room). The room is incredibly comfortable and beautifully designed, with all the small details in place for great comfort and ease – lighting accents in closets, strong and soft lighting in the bathroom and main room, spacious balcony, etc. Very nice breakfast with ready-to-go buffet items as well as hot items to order. Would definitely recommend and would stay again for sure!

The facilities are super good. What the best experience for me was the yoga class delivered by Sarah. She is amazing and beyond professional. After hearing me and my friend just finish the exhausting hiking, she tailor-made a soothing yoga class including the sound bath and gentle massage for two hours. She didn’t need go this far as this was a group class for one hour. We really appreciated her time and her dedication to make everyone happy! Such a nice lady! Besides, all the staffs are quite helpful and friendly.

Claudio and team took excellent care of us every moment of our stay. A truly unexpected and memorable experience. Staff are very welcoming and friendly. The service at reception and restaurant is very good. Claudio himself runs a number of activities in the local area, which are also very highly recommended - we ha d agreat time picking mushrooms and trying our the baked bread experience. Excellent hotel. Staff and service superb. Food brilliant. Location could not be better. Well refurbed and immaculately kept! On-site ski shop, also brilliant. It was our first time to Arosa and we cannot wait to return.

Valsana is exactly what you'd want from a Swiss Ski Chalet style stay. Warm, cozy with super friendly staff. We were very well looked after, delicious food and plenty of gluhwein for apres. Really well located and easy to access lifts, train station and slopes. We will 100% be going back with the children in tow this time. Very family friendly.

a good hotel with an incredible view, but the only downside was the bed – it was hard, and the bed legs stuck out in such a way that I bumped my foot several times when I was packing my things, I even injured my finger, and that bed continued to remind me of it for some time.
