It's such an incredible, awesome hidden gem in the heart of the Alps. The showers and toilets were very clean as well as rooms. The bed was comfortable and I had a good sleep. The breakfast has a good variety of choices with bread, ham, cheese, eggs, jam, or cereals. Tee, coffee, and juice included as well, of course. The dinner was especially amazingly tasty, and the portion was very generous. I didn't reserve the dinner before, because I wasn't sure if I needed it, but when I arrived, the smell was so irresistibly good, I had to get it. I'm glad that it was possible to get dinner even when I arrived just an hour before dinner time and didn't order it before. But what I appreciated most was the atmosphere and hospitality. The owner and the cook lady were so nice I felt almost like at home. I recommend it to everyone, if you're going to stay in the area, this is the best place. I will definitely come back here.

Großartiges Team - freundlich, unkompliziert und hilfsbereit! Wir waren mit dem Rad dort und haben uns sehr gefreut, auch bei verspäteter Rückkehr noch selbstgemachtes Abendessen zu bekommen. Danke an das Team!

The host was very friendly, the matraces were very comfortable. The linen were clean. Food was really good. And just for 50 franks for a night with dinner and breakfast it is mega cheap in swiss standards.

Jugi is a wonderful host taking care of his hosts with kindness and passion. I highly recommend having a stop there while climbing the Gothard by bicycle !

Great location and a lovely house. The showers and other facilities are great! Good breakfast service and friendly employee. The only downside was the smell inside the public/diner area, but perhaps that was temporary, we only stayed one night. Deffinately recommend!

This hostel was the perfect place to stay for a ski trip. The staff were so kind, helpful, and welcoming. The rooms and facilities were clean and easy to use. Very easy access to the Andermatt ski area via bus that picked up/dropped off right outside the hostel. Garage to store boots/skis/boards for the night. I was very happy with how affordable and how nice this place was. Easy access by walking to the Hospental train station and via bus to the Andermatt train station. I would recommend to anyone staying in the area.

Super friendly chatty owner. I'd booked a dorm but it was fairly quiet and he gave me my own room so I didnt have to share with men. Fantastic breakfast

We spent a night here while on a roadtrip and we definitely recommend. For the small price you have a warm home made like dinner a breakfast and a place to sleep. The owners were really nice and gentil very thoughtful to their customers. We thank you both for the amazing experience we will surely be back again sometime.

Die Jugendherberge Hospental ist ein wenig aus der Zeit gefallen, aber im sehr positiven Sinne. Es ist keine Luxus-Jugendherberge, sondern eine sehr gute und günstige Unterkunft im Mehrbettzimmer. Ich bin immer dort für das Alpenbrevet und der Service ist einfach einmalig gut, an dem sich viele Hotels ein Beispiel nehmen könnten. Ein grosser Raum für die Fahrräder, wer mit dem Auto kommt, kann leicht ausserhalb des Dorfes parkieren, ein Frühstück was perfekt auf so eine lange Velofahrt am Alpenbrevet abgestimmt ist, ein Nachtessen, vorher, was genau fürs Carbon-Loading passt und hervorragend schmeckt. Und das alles zu einem unschlagbaren Preis.

All staffs are really kind and professional. There is bike garage also. and if you want to have dinner, you can have dinner and pay for it. dinner and breakfast are really nice. and you can use laundry sevice.
