Definitely worth the walk! After just arriving in Luzern and in dire need of a good cup of coffee I found this shop 2.5 km away from the train station. While he was making the (amazing) coffee I had a very pleasant conversation about his coffee and ambitions he has! Next time I am in Luzern I will visit your coffeeshop in the center 😉

A hidden gem of a café + roastery, located just a short, but very pleasant walk from central Lucerne. We felt the warm embrace of roasting coffee the moment we stepped in, and knew we were in the right place, though the owner Oskars assured us the smell is not always that enticing. He made a lovely latte and brewed a pour over coffee that was so good, I ended up buying a bag of the coffee! (Now if only I could make it that well at home...) This was by far the best coffee we had in Switzerland, and it was the cherry on top of our trip to Lucerne. We were very glad to have ventured out here and meet Oskars, and if you do the same, I would recommend bringing the coffee to the nearby Rotsee for a peaceful stroll along the water.

Nice coffee shop in Luzern. As I went during the roastery time, I was only able to take away. However I took my delicious cappuccino from Ecuador outside in the bench. Then back to another cappuccino but stronger to be ready for work.
