We stayed at Cascada Boutique Hotel and decided to dine in BOLERO Restaurant. It certainly didn't disappoint us! The restaurant was nicely presented with good music and ambient lighting. They don't do paper menu and instead we were given two tablets, which contain all menu items with photos and even videos. This is really a good idea as you know exactly each dish/cocktail looks like. We were firstly given some bread and olive spread whilst we waited for our food. My partner and I chose to share the main Shrimp Tortilla as starters between us and it was perfect! Our mains - Ribeye Steak and Lamb Shank were also delicious. Our waiter Lou was BRILLIANT! He has good menu knowledge and upselling skills. The service was very attentive from start to end. The bill was a bit pricey as we spent over CHF 180 for two of us but for the quality of food and service we received, it was worthy. This is one of the best restaurants in Lucerne and I would recommend it to anyone that visits the city!

We ordered three tapas dishes and seafood paella. The tapas were incredibly delicious, with tender pork and well-matched sauces. The seasoning of the octopus was also good, although it was slightly softer than expected. The shrimp was extremely juicy and tasty, and we couldn't believe we could find such delicious shrimp in Lucerne. The seafood paella was delicious and came in generous portions. We ordered a portion for two people, but three of us couldn't finish it. The service was attentive, and we would definitely consider visiting this restaurant again.

Fantastic restaurant with delicious food, excellent service, and elegant décor. Our server told us about the 2 or 3-course tapas combo but also suggested that we could order the dishes individually without them being part of the set. We took her advice and ordered 3 individual tapa dishes – shrimp, mussels, and octopus. Then followed by the Flambéed Catalan cream with ice cream. All were excellent. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

Business trip. Walking around looking for a decent restaurant. Came across this one. Was busy, but they found space for us. Amazing menu, great service and the food was just excellent. I highly recommend. This'll be one restaurant I'll return to when I revisit Lucerne.

Visited while staying in Lucerne for the night. Just 10 minutes walk from the main station and the old town. The food was excellent - would recommend the tuna or mussels starters and the Paella Valenciana main course, all were delicious. Also a nice selection of wines and beers. The service was great too.

On our trip to Switzerland, this has been the best restaurant we've dined at so far. It absolutely meets the taste preferences of Taiwanese people. The clams and grilled baby octopus are must-tries, with flavors that exceeded our expectations. The Spanish seafood paella is also incredibly delicious. Both the red and white Sangria are delightful. It's worth mentioning that the service is truly exceptional. They even remind customers about portion sizes to prevent over-ordering and wastage. The service is simply impeccable. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Very easy to book a table online. I called to know how long does it take for preparing the Paella since we only have 1.5h, all the staff we had speak very good English and were all very helpful. I preordered 3 different types of paella(normally takes 40 min) and starters and the timing was all perfect. Food was amazing, my favorite were the colorful tomato salad and paella Valenciana! But everything was good and very tasty. Best paella I have ever had in Switzerland. Highly recommend and we will definitely come back.

Amazing food and friendly staff. This is our second time in Bolero and I can confirm that it is a marvelous dinner experience from the beginning to the end. Elisabete took our orders and made sure we felt at home; Fernando and Rita were also great checking in with us. Thank you for everything!

*Make sure you make a reservation or it'll be hard to find seating!!* This place get busy quick. The foods and services were superb. We ordered tapas and they were delicious. The bacon wrap dates are a mixture of sweet and salty with a lot of flavors, the potatoes matched well with the sauces, the mushrooms meddling just dance in your mouth, the beefs are tender and savory, and the mule is excellent.

OK, first, I don't like Switzerland (!) the endless stretch of 80, 100km roads, the highway vignet, the weird money and sometimes to sterile surroundings. Looked for restaurant in Luzern, this one caught my eye, couldn't get a table through the website, just went there. After a 10 minute walk, we arrived, unfortunately there wasn't a table available, staff even gave suggestions were to eat, but finally they caved in and made some extra time and space for us, many kudos here. So, they are not cheap, but great food, ambiance and very helpful staff costs, so enjoy everything, you won't be disappointed, highly recommended! Also it was my birthday, my wife had told them that, when desert was served, the lights dimmed, and I was surprised with a extra dessert, everybody started singing, it was very special. Thanks for all of your effort!

A wonderful restaurant near the railway station. Spanish food cooked really well like in Spain. Romantic atmosphere. If you have a birthday the waiters sing a happy birthday 🎂 song to you. Above expectations. The best service I have ever seen in Europe.

Great choice of food available. Paella courses take 40 mins to prepare but look great. Didn't have time that so went for lamb shank from a la carte section. Absolutely wonderful. Would thoroughly recommend. Obviously very popular.

Solid paella! Price is per person, so if you order a Paella for two expect to pay double the price listed. We also got one of the appetizers that was delicious. Not worth it to get wine, go for a beer, pours are very small and expensive. If your in a rush make sure to let your server know they take a long time to come back to the table

Really tasty food! Highly recommend the chicken fajitas (comes with refillable wraps upon request), duck confit, spanish ham croquette and gambas shrimps.

A beautiful venue with a large selection of tapas and entrees. Stopped by during non prime time and grabbed a few entrees. The duck dish was a good portion and the sauce was flavorful but a little overpowering as I had a keep chugging water after each bite. The foie grad sandwich was indeed yummy. The service was typical European passive absentee even though the restaurant was near empty. Only came to our table when we ordered and when we called for the check, not quite fitting for the prices being charged here. At least the venue was beautiful while we waited around.

Sharon and team was very lovely and friendly. Dinner was amazing! Restaurant seems pretty crowded on a Sunday night. Enjoyed our complimentary starter and dessert as well. Great location too!

Just finished dinner at this wonderful establishment and it was fantastic Our servers name was Linda (I believe) and she was extremely helpful. She helped us select several tasty tapas and recommend that a paella for three would feed the four of us. The Paella Marisco was the main event and it did not disappoint. I’ve been making my own for years and thought it was excellent. The desserts were a treat also. A great find I highly recommend if you love Paella.

Good food and service. Expect to pay a lot due to Swiss price levels. We visited Bolero for a stop over in Luzern, as we stayed in Cascada hotel. We chose the restaurant for having a simple pasta for our daughter. The restaurant was nearly empty, no need to reserve. The decor and service are excellent. We had unlimited fajitas (typically Spanish... no), which were nice. Salsa a bit too sweet, bit overall good quality. Good sangria and gin tonic. Would go again? No, I would prefer typical Swiss food. PS The menu (tablet) is cumbersome and does not allow for quick and easy choosing.

We found this on TripAdvisor and we had Very pleasant experience The waiter is very polite and professional. The food here is very good. Although we wait for 40 minutes for the rice, it’s good and worth the time waiting. It’s walkable for the train station. So you can keep you luggage at the train station

Wow! Incredible dining experience. Our server was lovely, I think his name is Alex. This was my first time trying paella and it blew me away. Both the white and red sangrias are delicious. The restaurant is very pretty. I'm terribly sad I'm not staying in Luzern another night and can't eat at Bolero again! Extremely minor complaint: the serving of truffle chips that comes with the sangria box is a bit stingy.

A small peace of Spain in Lucerne. Fantastic food and service. We had an Asian paella for 3 person and it really cost it’s s money. Just be aware and plan your time, because it takes 40 minutes to be cooked. And of course Sangria a synonym of holidays in Spain was a great addition to the food.

Very nice typical Spanish food. Ambiance is nice. Staff was nice and efficient. There seemed to be a lot of Spanish people around us, which is always a good sign too. Beware that paellas take 40 minutes to prepare (they will warn you, but just in case you decide to go there for the paellas but don't have much time).

Amazing choice to eat spanish dishes in a trendy and modern restaurant in Luzern. The waitress Rita was very friendly and the food was delicious. We took the Paella Marisco with the addition (very much recommended!) of grilled octopus. We will return for sure if again in the city!

AMAZING! Paella is great with lots of toppings because we ordered the Special, downside is we had to wait for 40 minutes. The dates wrapped with bacon is veeery nice for appetizer. Superb service, we came in at 1:25pm and they are closing at 2pm, yet they decided they can serve us the 40 minutes paella after all, thank you so much! Was craving paella, and definitely craving stastied! Sorry we disturbed your break 🥲

Wonderfull food with amazing service. The place is very stylish with a good price. No suitable to have kids running around but a perfect place to have a nice food. Enjoy the sangrias and pulpo a la gallega. The tiramisu is also part of the heaven, if you believe or not on it.
