Most of the restaurants were closed at 10pm but we were working near the train station and decided to have dinner here because it was the only thing open except for fast food chains. We went without even knowing that it was a vegan place but the food was amazing! Every dish was so good (and I am not vegan) and even the desserts. The girl who helped us and was lovely to explain everything and event let us know that there was water available (:

Tibits has some of the nicest employees I've met in my 6 months in Europe (this is not a slight on other hospitality workers.. these guys are just that good). The food is delicious but if i lived in Lucerne, I'd be going here all the time. Wonderful experience.

I realllly loved this place. I am not vegan or vegetarian but I really think I could be a vegetarian after being here. The amount I payed was 20CHF including drink. The food quality is top and the space is Spacious for groups to eat. At first I underestimated this place because it's inside the Hbf but it was the perfect choice. I very recommend this place and they accept cash and cards.

I love the vegan food here and the self serve style, you get to try so many unique flavors and items! Staff is nice, bathrooms with a code, cute kids corner with fun activities for them. Huge space, top floor of train station. They have eco friendly take out dishes.

Food was decent. From the perspective of an Indian the food was just average. They have a unique concept of paying for buffet breakfast by weight of food on the plate. Like 4 CHF per 100g of food irrespective of what food you put on your plate. That's pretty interesting but taste wise it was bland for me. I didn't like the mousse sandwich either. But being vegan you can eat something as a vegetarian and being close to train station at Lucerne it's very accessible.

The idea to have several vegan options where we can choose what amount we want is super good, I just think they need to offer more vegan protein options in order to have a more balanced menu. The desserts could also be better.

My favorite vegetarian restaurant in the Luzerne main train station is on the 2nd floor and has an in-house WC. If you have luggage, you can choose to sit outside (see photo).

Vegetarian restaurant at the main station of Lucerne that serves really good dishes from around the world. It is actually a self-service buffet, but with style. The staff is really friendly and helpful, the prices are fair. From the restaurant you can overview the station and see the trains arriving and leaving. If you have some time left until your train leaves, it's worth going here for a coffee or a beer.

This place is incredible. I’ve never experienced anything like it. Almost every dish is vegan and it’s a pay be weight buffet. Pretty expensive but that’s normal for Switzerland prices. The dishes were all absolutely delicious (and I had nearly a bite of everything!). Would love to come back some day!

What a wonderful place! Food is delicious, and worth travelling to the station to eat. Big variety of vegetarian - mainly vegan - dishes, innovatively prepared. After decades of struggling to find decent food at train stations - anywhere in the world - finally this sumptuous vegetarian buffet. If eating like this was the norm, travel would be a joy and we'd be a step closer to a sustainable future.

We stayed shortly here to have a quick coffee and a hot chocolate with a gipfeli. Cappuccino cost Chf 5.20, hot chocolate Chf 7.70, gipfeli Chf 1.90. It is on the expensive side. The Cappuccino was ok, the hot chocolade definatly completely overpriced, consisting of approx. 260-300 ml Milk with a piece of chocolade placed on a wooden stick. By the time the chocolade was melted the milk was only luke warm. The size of the gipfeli compared to the price was very small. The proclaimed Service was not existant since it is self Service. To food offering I can not comment. Since 6 Stars for absolut top I can only give 3 Stars in total.

Almost all the things are vegan 🌱 The food is delicious, we loved the risotto, the hash brown potatoes, and the cake with vanilla cream. It’s a buffet system but you have to pay per weight of your plate and it could get expensive. One of our plates cost around 16CHF while the other one with same quantity was 21CHF.

I enjoy going to tidbits in Luzern for the food, the location, and atmosphere. I love the diversity of food that never fails to satisfy my cravings for variety. The location is upstairs the escalator of the train station and super convenient. And the atmosphere is chill and relaxing. It's a pleasure to work remotely at tidbits from time to time as well. Hope you enjoy too!

Great spot for Vegans who want to grab a snack/meal/beverage for their train ride or enjoy it in person. Great vibe!

This is not fine dining as it is in a train station and has a buffet but....the food was delicious, there was an excellent range and the staff were friendly. And cost is based on weight of your plate so you can decide how much to eat and pay. A hot meal with vegetables for a decent price in Switzerland!!!

Vegetarian cafe centrally located in the train station on the top floor. High quality menus available to take away which lists everything you need to know, most importantly what is vegan! They also had free match boxes to take away. They were playing light music, there was a nice ambience. Food was very well labelled in both Swiss German and English. There was lots of choice. They also sell books, water bottles, bags, as well as supplying free tap water. They mostly sell buffet items by weight however I bought mine from the counter; a seitan kebab sandwich and a lemon cake to take away. 11.60 francs (£8.74). The sandwich was absolutely delicious! The first time I’ve tried seitan, I can see why it’s so popular. Would definitely have it again! The cake was edible, but I wouldn’t recommend it. Perhaps the vegetarian desserts are better there was much more choice compared to the one vegan cake.

Immer eine sehr grosse Auswahl an sehr feinen Essen. Das Buffet ist immer aufgeräumt, aufgefüllt und sauber. Ich esse hier sehr gerne, wenn ich einfach schnell etwas gesundes, feines essen will.

A large variety of vegetarian and vegan dishes, it's buffet style, so you pay for the weight, it's quite expensive imo, my plate costs 20CHF, and soup is 7.5CHF. But what I don't like is that quite a few dishes were very salty and over seasoned, like the soup, the pak choy..

  • 5/5 Sandra R. 8 months ago on Google
Tem he food is really good, everything is vegan, so you can feel free (if you are vegan) of trying everything that’s on the buffet. The salt- caramel cheesecake was the best I have had

Tasty vegan food on the second floor of Lucerne Station. Great variety of salads, hot dishes, breads and desserts. It is fairly expensive priced by weight but the taste and quality of food is worth the price. Good ambience and several seating options.

Highly recomended, buffet for vegetarian and the payment is according to the weight if the food on your plate. Big restaurant and confortable, Really delicious food also for those that is not vegetarian (i'm not vegetarian) but I love it. It is on the 2nd floor and inside the train station Luzern

Make your way upstairs in the Lucerne train station, and prepare for an absolute treat. I'm no vegan, but this food was simply wonderful. Tremendous variety, as you can see in the pics others have posted, all food freshly prepared, and the self-serve feature ensures that you'll get exactly what you want in the quantity you prefer. The prices are quite reasonable, always a plus when visiting Switzerland.

Incredible and delicious options for vegans and vegetarians at any time of day. Excellent gluten free options too. Conveniently located on the second floor of the train station, just above the main platforms. All the food is priced by weight, so it is not cheap. Great for dine in or take away.

Very nice and cosy place 1 st floor of train station. You pay per weight so you can't really know the final price. Big choise, good quality.

I do like vegan food, but it feels 70% of the dishes is overpriced salad. Overall it’s healthy but bland.

One of the best vegetarian restaurants in Switzerland. Buffet breakfast was very good. Every dish has unique taste.! Must visit. Right on the luzern station platform

Best food I've had in Switzerland, for a reasonable price. Excellent vegetarian and vegan options, with an unparalleled breakfast buffet-style offering. Staff were friendly and efficient, and the coffee was quite fantastic. My wife asked me if we could live there at the end of our meal. I wish I could have said yes...
