I booked on their website. Booking process was easy. I got an upgrade to a bigger room and beautiful view for free. The hotel had vacancy even from Saturday to Sunday (the one night I stayed). The hotel is located around 2km from the transportation museum. It has parking (7 CHF per 24h). Room was generous and clean, bathroom was small and a not old, but functional and clean. I had no issues with noise and the bed was confortable. Breakfast was good, too! Staff was friendly and welcoming. This hotel was a real bargain and given the price I paid, I expected much less. They even have free bike rental, and Lucerne is great to visit by bike. There is a parking lot with two spaces to charge electric vehicles right opposite the street.

The only nice thing about the hotel was the staff and the view in the morning. Walls are paper thin, so hearing your neighbors argue and party all night was not a pleasant thing. Complained, and nothing was done. Would rather eat a cancellation fee than stay another night in that place.

This was a terrible hotel. It is worse than any budget hotel I have stayed at and it was not budget prices. We paid over $300 for one room with two very uncomfortable beds and bunkbeds for the kids. It’s on a busy road with the train tracks right behind the hotel. This hotel has no AC and no Pool. Breakfast is not included. I would highly recommend staying elsewhere in town. It is not close to any spots to visit. It’s at least a 15 minute bus ride to get to city center.

No aircon, stuffy little boxes for rooms, fan doesn't work, fridge doesn't work, TV doesn't work. And for the price? Complete rip off. This place should be torn down. And the parking costs 30 a day.

The exterior of the hotel was nice. It's near the city center and train for transport. The rooms were small, bathrooms recently remodeled nicely, and the bed was low to the ground and hard. We went during a warm spell of high 70 -80 degrees and the room did not have air conditioning. Luckily a small fan was in the room. Parking was not paid, no iron available on the property. The sister property is across the street, the Hermitage and directly in front of the lake.

Excellent service and beautiful rooms... But the only fault was there was no staff members during the night time... Like past 10:00....otherwise an excellent hotel with beautiful scenery

Terrible experience They said that they will send an instruction and they never did! Even after I sent two emails… no response! I was stressed about not having a place to stay the whole time, when I made it to the hotel I entered my info and got the key but they never sent the instruction! Location is kinda far from other places in Lucerne Stinky and no vent

The room itself was fine, even if the sofa-bed was a bit uncomfortable. The self-checking process was confusing and we had to call someone because they didn't have anymore keys to self-check.

The highest apartments has a great view over the lake. Nearbye great restaurants and other facilities like busstops. Pitty that the rooms have no aircos. You can get a vent but when it is hot: Thats not enough. Breakfast has a good level. Positive is that you can get the room fully dark. The noise of the road disappears then also. The lift is great and high speed. Very helpfull and friendly staff. Great area. You will get a free voucher to travel to the city via email. You can swimm nearbye beach of neightbour hotel hermitage.

One romantic and peaceful hotel facing the Lake Lucerne and The Alps. It’s a star rated hotel in the place called Hermitage. There’s a bus stop in a few yards from the hotel. The Swiss cuisine is extravagant. A definitive place to stay and relax.

I booked this reservation in July 2017 and inadvertently entered the wrong year. I intended my trip to be for Nov 2017 but accidentally entered 2018. I was charged for my booking on my credit card when I made it which I knew would happen. So this reservation was for almost 1 year and a half out. I realized my mistake the SAME DAY I made the reservation and attempted to contact the hotel. No response. I could tell the dates that I actually needed in Nov 2017 were not available so I needed to cancel this reservation since of course it wouldn't' work since I was arriving a year earlier! I made the reservation through Expedia and tried to have them help me contact them explaining what had happened. It took me several days attempts as I was told the front desk clerk did not have the ability to make that decision and issue me back a credit. After more than two weeks, multiple attempts, messages to them.... the manager responded that they would not be willing to issue me a refund since this was a non-refundable reservation despite the fact that I had been trying to fix this mistake since the very day I had made it and they had AMPLE time to get a new reservation for these dates. I own a B&B and am in the lodging industry and am amazed at their treatment. I've never heard of a legitimate, reputable place that would treat a customer this way when it was so obviously a mistake, caught right away and gave more than a year to re-book the room. It was clearly a policy to keep my payment and turn around and re-book those dates a year from now and basically earn double. I would NEVER recommend this place to anybody who wants to be treated fairly.

Clean. Quiet. Friendly staff. A little way out of town but utterly stunning surroundings. A quick bus to get to the hotel from Lucerne centre.

This hotel is very excellent, clean and nice to stay and easy to commute to Bus 🚌 , train and boat. The staff are very helpful to check in and guide us with the information including all tours near Lucerne area.

Terrible hotel with unhelpful customer service. Checked in and automatically knew this place was a red flag. Outdated, stinky, and dirty. I contacted Bellevue directly through phone and they did not give me a refund, even when I just looked at the room. This hotel is so bad, my family and I didn’t care about the refund and left. It’s way too overpriced for what it is and I recommend that nobody stay here. A motel like this would’ve just been $50 in the U.S. Don’t make the same mistake as I did.
