With my dear friends visiting from Zürich on July 23rd we were very lucky to get a spontaneous table in the lovely garden for lunch! An excellent choice as we were able to sample the world-famous charcuterie from Chef F. Pairon and many other delicious specialties. The service was impeccable and there are some true jewels on the wine list - at very affordable prices! Will definitely be back as soon as possible, looking forward to try their seasonal game menu. This restaurant offers the perfect mix of high-end dining in a relaxed atmosphere - BRAVO!!!

We have come for a lunch and were greeted by the French owner's wife, who waited customers. We had high expectations as the chef was rumoured to be a MOF meilleur ouvrier Français We paid 46 chf for a minuscule portion of two pieces of veal, in a dull tasteless sauce and an equally dull, calculated to the last demicentime plate du jour chicken plate du jour was so tastthat any h could done better! There was no hint of curry, undercooked rice and school canteen level carrots. The response is totally wrong! I wrote the review after we ate! Racist remarks are what? I asked if they were french and were not familiar with the taste of and suppliers in Switzerland, who clearly prefer the filet de perche from the lake! You arrogantly laughed when I paid, most honorable chefs would not even ask for payment! Your poor attitude & inner culture reflected in your response is your restaurant

We had a fabulous lunch à la carte. The food is seasonal, fresh, local and colorful, so appetizing from the very beginning to the end. Service is kind and quick. We loved the foie gras bouchée which was graciously offered as well as the incredible malakoff which is a signature dish for which they have been recognized. Absolutely recommended and will certainly go back. Merci infiniment!

My colleagues and I started our lunch with the poached eggs meurette which has recently gained recognition as the best in the world and wow it tasted the best (must have!!!). Then we moved to the plat de jour (burger) which was a delicate, juicy and contained incredible depth of flavour for a burger. Service is extremely welcoming and professional at all times. I’m very much looking forward to coming back and trying the wellington! Highly recommend for anyone to enjoy a meal here.

This is a restaurant not to be missed by any food aficionado. Not only are the dishes served beautifully prepared and plated, but they are also original in concept and creation. The ingredients and some finished products (butter, breads, sorbet, etc..) have been carefully selected, largely from nearby sources. Everything tasted as it should. My wife and I have enjoyed food in so many Michelin starred restaurants, and this restaurant stands with them in terms of the food. It is head and shoulders above most all of them in terms of value for the food and wine. I would gladly eat in this restaurant any time, and I highly recommend it to any food lover!

Marvelous! I was there for the first day of the new menu: flavorful sausage with tasty potatoes and the freshest salad. Nicely offered with a great selection of beverages. TIP: never skip the Champagne glas when the chef is French Amazing restaurant with a cozy atmosphere and welcoming patio seating. Also has a smart boutique to take home some snacks, another bottle of wine, or even a present for your or someone else’s kitchen… Service super attentive and genuine, this place is a true gem in francophonic Switzerland!
