Beautiful place to visit indeed. Hiking shoes are highly recommended. The path through the forest is in the shade, appreciated during summer days. Sometimes it could be quite steep. It can slide when going down. Near the lake are some restaurants, self-service stand, toilets, picnic tables and a covered place for grilling. Went there with kids (8, 10 years). I recommend going there in the morning, later it might be very crowded.

This is amazing. There are many picnic place. For survivors: Free parking: Vouvry, Church (Eglise de Vouvry) Vouvry - Lac de Tanay - Vouvry: 15km and 1000m Not easy ... but it's worth to visit. :) or for explorers: Parking: Miex (parking du Flon) Miex - Lac de Tanay - Miex: 5km - 400m

Lovely little lake! Takes roughly 2h to walk from the nearest bus stop, and can be steep at times, but absolutely worth it! At the lake there are water fountains (only use the ones that are labelled as drinking water), restaurants, lodges, and particularly nice a self-service café! Lovely to relax by the lake, with toilet facilities. Takes another 2h approx to reach Le Grammont , which is stunning!

Amazing lake in the mountains. The access is nice and not too long: around 40 minutes if you walk fast. The place is relaxing and full of place to stay around. If you go early in The morning it’s really nice and not too crowded. The number of parking slot is now limited. It’s like a little paradise 👌🏻

Amazing views, the lake is beautiful, nice hiking trails and restaurants, breath-taking!

Beautiful place. Not easy to get there though. Narrow road, steep path 1-1.5hours walk from parking to the place. Still, worth coming as it is one of most beautiful places that i have swen in CH.
